umangatan
So the following "spider charts" were shown in the BN article: See it: Why PFF is so low on popular Bills mock draft QB Josh Allen. The data is fro PFF. Do you think these charts are reflective of NFL success? I wish we had charts for QBs from previous draft classes as a method of comparison....Opinions on this? blacklabel
I'd like to see Mayfield's passing chart just to see how many of his completions were "gimmies" as in easy throws like bubble screens, dump-offs, short in-breaking routes, etc. It'd also be nice to see charts for the other guys as well to see which parts of the field they excel at throwing to. This article by Bill Barnwell from earlier in the week at least answers your question as it affects these QB's 2017 season: http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/23039883/history-tells-us-nfl-terrible-evaluating-quarterbacks-means-2018-draft-prospects Edited April 13, 2018 by Midwest1981

If we land either, I'd be a happy man. That said, I can't help but think Beane just got his first lesson in reality. We may not get any of them. Devilmann
https://www.si.com/college-football/2017/09/09/baker-mayfield-oklahoma-flag-ohio-state-win How epic would it be to see him do that with a Bills flag on that stupid patriot logo. If it was up to me he’s my pick!! Balls out competitor with a chip on his shoulder.

I wonder how much of an affect on overall completion % those lower numbers of short throws have on Allen and Jackson. Also, is that lower # of short throws indicative of the fact that those two ran more pro-style offenses? formerlyofCtown
Imagine that my Top QB and 3rd QB would be rated 1 and 2 according to this. Yes 26CB I said it. Edited April 14, 2018 by formerlyofCtown

Rob's House
According to this Mason Rudolph is the second best QB and LamarG3's passing grade is equal to Darnold's. I've gone from thinking PFF was a flawed but useful tool to thinking it's only value is as a conversation piece.
