Kirby Jackson
Used Matt Miller’s board and set it to difficult. GunnerBill
Kirby - Those first 4 would be a slam dunk. So this inspired me to have my first go of this draft season (below)..... I'd love this draft!!! 21: R1P21 QB BAKER MAYFIELD OKLAHOMA - The Bills get their Quarterback of the future! 22: R1P22 LB TREMAINE EDMUNDS VIRGINIA TECH - A perfect fit for McDermott's defense a dynamic, do it all playmaker at linebacker - he "starts off the bus!" 53: R2P21 C JAMES DANIELS IOWA - The value was too good to pass up here and the Bills go the Eric Wood route with Daniels. He starts at RG in year 1 then slides to centre when Groy leaves as a FA in 2019. 56: R2P24 DL TAVEN BRYAN FLORIDA - Not as high on him as some but again the value for a player of such potential here is high. Probably a situational player year 1 but long term Kyle Williams replacement is here! 96: R3P32 RB RASHAAD PENNY SAN DIEGO STATE - Penny would give the Bills a two headed monster in the backfield in 2018 and is talented enough to take over from Shady as the bellcow in 2019. 121: R4P21 CB DUKE DAWSON FLORIDA - A starting nickel corner by the end of his rookie year. 158: R5P21WR ALLEN LAZARD IOWA STATE - Extremely raw, but 6ft5 and ran a very credible 4.55 at the combine. High ceiling risk at a position of need. 166: R5P29 LB DAVIN BELLAMY GEORGIA - Another physical specimen whose challenge is putting it all together on the field. Again very high ceiling if it works out and worth a 5th round flier. Edited March 6, 2018 by GunnerBill

Yea I don't want to give up our 2019 1st if I can help it. 21, 22, 53 and 2019 2nd would be my opening offer. Add Glenn if there is interest. I think the 2019 draft a year out looks a more talented non QB draft but a much less talented QB class. So if they can get their QB and keep their 2019 1st then they are really well set up to be in a position to make a run in 2019 for my money.

Right now I just feel like we need so many positions filled that I don't mind giving up the future 1st even, since the LBs and DL look so solid this year. Those feelings will likely adjust as we make our way through FA though.

Your board seems to be very realistic from the players you have on it and what it would take to select either Rosen, Mayfield or Darnold. I wouldn't be surprised if another 2018 2nd round pick would have to be added to go up and get our qb. I also agree with you that it seems that Rosen is the targeted qb, although any one of the top three is good enough for me. I'm not bothered by the high cost. Settling on a qb allows this franchise more options in building the roster.
