Does this game look like Bill Bilichick's last?

Maybe.  More so, seems like a possibility than ever.  I have never seen him that emotional, passionate or animated (which does not say to much on the overall emotion, passion animation scale), but, for BB in comparison on that scale it was high.

Hmmmm... He looked as animated as ever after a win.

That is the feeling I got.  There was a lot of hugging going on.

So you think he’s not coaching in the Super Bowl? That would be news.

There is one in every crowd.

What else is he going to do?

This is his LIFE, and I think he does not have a life outside of football.

How much do you think he puts in? 100 hours a week? More? Less?

He does not know anything else. If he keeps winning, he will keep coaching.

Wishful thinking..

He may want to spend time with his hot girlfriend.

the level of jubilation from belichick certainly exceeded any non superbowl win... and even those dont seem like as much.

not sure if its worth reading into.  he could have just been happy for his coordinators.

or he knows it was his last game in foxboro as the patriots' coach

Here is my theory even though it is most likely extremely off base...

ESPN has yet to name Gruden's replacement because they have been tipped off that BB is done after this year, and would be interested in jumping to the booth to stay in football.

It would give ESPN more credibility and gives them a guy in the booth that would provide tremendous insight into the game.
