Aaron Rodgers only red flag was playing for Tedford and Kyle Boller busted.  He has similar size and arm talent.  If Rudolph had that kind of arm with his size he would be the top qb.

‘Only?’ That only was the reason he slid.

It was but arm talent was not a question.  Rudulph arm is being questioned.

I’ve read people questioning his arm and the only thing I take from that is that there are a lot of “scouts” writing generic reports and inserting his name. His arm is good.

I think Darnold has the most potential to be a star. I feel he should have waited a year to come out but everything he does in college translates to the NFL. Plus he manipulates the pocket better than any QB coming out all while keeping his eyes downfield. His accuracy is phenomenal. But he does try to force a throw or two each game.

Not a huge Rosen fan, but I can see why teams are intrigued by him. I just think for a guy that talented, he should have had a better college career.

My 2nd choice is Baker Mayfield. I don’t tag people with “he’s a winner” but this kid obviously has a fire and from just watching the games, you can see how good he is.

I always watch the games and draw from that. Measurables etc don’t usually factor in to my thinking. This is why Allen is a no go for me. Guy makes bad decisions and his accuracy is all over the place. 56% last year and 56.2% this year. Completion percentage doesn’t measure accuracy as we know, but it’s a better tell when it’s bad than when it’s good. Especially for a guy deemed as a top prospect.

Watch the games. That’s where you’ll see who can play.

Even if you're a casual and watch some of Allen's "all the throws" videos on Youtube you can see how awful he can be. One play he'll throw a laser 20 yards down field and then the next he's throwing 3 yards short into the dirt on an 8 yard dig.

Mayfield is way too risky. He was already struggling against Georgia to stay in the pocket and make his reads. The guys only get bigger and faster at the NFL level and he'll end up like Tyrod, running from pressure and turning his back to the play except coverages don't breakdown in the NFL like they do in college.

I'm going to have to go with Rudolph if he's available at 21. He's very much a Cousins type of QB. He's not flashy but he has the athleticism and arm strength to play at the next level. His knocks are more about where he plays than how he plays I think.

There are really only two great QBs this year, the rest will be a crap shoot. If you get a good one out of the rest it will be more about luck than anything.

And Darnold/Rosen will go 1 and 2 so here's hoping that whoever the Bills pick we finally get lucky.

Still, he completed 13-of-25 passes for 281 yards and two touchdowns against the Bears for the best debut for a Cowboy signal caller in school history ... I've read all kinds of opinions on Rudolph.  Someone is going be right and someone's going to be horribly wrong.  Unless you believe Dunkirk Don, we really have no idea what the Bills think of him.  In my experience of following mock drafts for years is that for some teams every year different prospects become fad picks at different times.  It would not surprise me if a month from now we saw a flurry of mock drafts favoring another QB for Buffalo, or another player all together.

All we know is that we've scouted him more than the other QBs. Of course since we have Chadwick Chad/Dunkirk Don for guidance we luckily have an inside track.

Agreed.  I can't remember anyone talking about the Bills liking Tra White before the draft.
