I'm enjoying the show and it's very well done, but the world of rural Missouri trailer trash is not really a world I want to spend a lot of time in, and my interest in the show suffers as a result. A lot of character twists. And a lot of people get shot and never get gangrene and die. It kept me entertained and it was an interesting point in American history (although not a factual story). I am not down on Season 2 as much as you but it was definitely not as good as 1 but I really like this show overall. I think mainly because I am only a few years older than the characters on the show and it does remind me of some in my group of friends. I think you pretty much nailed it by saying it's not as good as the first. It's funny that you mention their ages though. I know what they're supposed to be, but I do lose track of that at times. nkreed Posted January 27, 2019 Share Posted January 27, 2019 I just finished Season 1 of Counterpart on Starz. It's extremely good. J. K. Simmons is an extremely good actor. The first episode was slow but methodical. After you get the premise of the show, it flys by and keeps you entertained. Season 2 started in December and I'm on my way to catching up.
