Peterman will be starting Sunday

The biggest thing I noticed about Peterman is what can make or break his career. He is always trying to make a play and he needs to learn to take the sack sometimes and understand pocket presence. If he can figure those two things out he has shown pretty good ball placement accuracy (when not getting crushed) and the ability to throw open receivers as well as throw before their break. He's no longer at Pitt anymore and taking a sack isn't the end of the world. The part of pocket presence is knowing whether he has time to get the ball out before he's hit and not while he's being hit.

This game if he  starts will give him the best opportunity to get more comfortable in the pocket and against a depleted secondary we have very strong matchups with our wide receivers as well. This is more of a training wheels game for him. If Tyrod starts which would make no sense to me at this point him being injured and we are currently the 8th seed which means we need to win out or have other teams fall back to have a chance. Because I'm a Bills fan I want to win and I want to see Peterman show that he isn't just the butt of all jokes in the NFL but, even if he plays great it doesn't mean much because of the inferior opponent. BTW this inferior opponent we speak of could beat us no matter who we roll out with at QB Brissett is no joke and plays hard.

Now that it appears Peterman is starting, I hope his confidence was not destroyed in the Chargers' game and that he shows enough talent that we (and he) can see that he has a future in this league (at least as a quality back up).

Baring another disaster, he probably gets the Fins.

It really seems to make the most logical sense at this point imo...it’s not like Tyrod is Brett Favre and is capable of going on a tear and leading us to the playoffs...he is what he is...I think they should just play the kid and see if there is any improvement.

Couple years back I was looking for a Tyrod jersey in various Albany sporting goods stores, but quickly learned that Bills apparel wasn’t really sold around there...to this day I like to think the good lord was looking down on me at that time, for only He could see the future.

I don't think anything is going to rattle this rookie, this is the way he plays the game. He will have more 300 yard games in these last 4 games than Taylor has had in 3 years here.

How nice would it be to have had a year; where playoffs were still (and tech are still) an option, and we get to see our Rookie QB play 4 meaningful games of regular season action and 3 In the division? 4 games of Peterman out the door here would be a very nice ending to the season. Let’s see what he can do. We know what the other guy can do.

....why the hell not?......drafted him for a reason, right?...ONLY downside I see is if the kid performs, there will be 876 "I Told You So" threads from SaviorPeterman and I can't afford 500 bucks for Pepto Bismol to aid my ad nauseam..............

i don't myself remember a starting qb labeled as a game time decision?  wtf?  he is gonna start tyrod. we will win a boring game by a close score because our qb can't move an offense. then will get our arses handed to us by miami at home...then mcd will mcturtle and then start nate.  hoping i'm wrong.
