I think he would be perfect for what Dennison wants to do. He's very efficient and surprisingly mobile at times. I think KC wouldn't do Ragland for Smith straight up, but I wouldn't add more than a 4th rd pick. Who else could we afford to throw in to make it happen? Philly Brown? Holmes? Ducasse? Definitely not Smith, but I would trade Ragland for D'Anthony Thomas and a 5th round pick. We need someone electrifying out there for our return game. Giants no longer wanted Kurt Warner but he was Arizona's saviour. Nobody wanted Gannon yet he was Oakland's savior. It happens. If you're looking to Alex Smith to be your savior, it's over. Granted, He's not going to the HOF but all he does is win enough games to get to qualify for the playoffs.There's nothing at all fancy about him but he does get the job done.
