  1. Cheers! I will drink to you my friend!! Go BILLS!!! They all thought I was having a heart attack throughout the whole game! I am just so glad that my family cheers for our BILLS so far away from home. WNY native but a WV BILLS DAWG now my friend! Bils forever!
  2. Born and raised. Through thick and thin, I love this team! I love the BILLS, our BILLS!! I watched my 7 year old son cry after the loss, and I could not join him, I don't even want to. I could only show him the 20 year drought snapped by the Bengals win. 7 YEARS AGO! After that, we cried, and we ROSE, and that lesson in life is that the only thing that matters is US! Our family, the mafia, THE US, THE WE, THE YOU! AND THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS! LOVE YOU ALL, AND WISH YOU ALL THE ABSOLUTE BEST! GO BILLS FOR ETERNITY!!
  3. A+ The Bills managed to draft an All-Pro along with drafting two additional perennial starters and cornerstones on the team. You also need to factor that we acquired an additional 1st as well. The miss on the other picks shouldn't matter considering the Bills hitting on these 3 studs.
  4. Could be...we'll find out soon enough. I just find it hard to believe that a team would allow a leak like this without any basis for it. This is what leads me to believe that Fields has something to do with it. I didn't see any coverage of the Jets attending Trey Lance's 2nd pro day so it's safe that the Jets won't go after him. I also didn't see any reports of the Jets working with Mac Jones either. So again, what would the incentive be fore releasing this?? New Jets coach Saleh just came from the 49ers. I think he'd trust what his old boss's opinion on QBs if they openly wanted Fields over Wilson. 🤔 But again, we'll see what happens.
  5. All this talk about it being either Jones or Lance has to be a smoke screen. The Jets are clearly targeting Zach Wilson, but had reps at Fields last pro day. If the 49ers were dumb, they'd talk up Fields with the Jets looking that way as well. I'm thinking the 49ers are huge on Fields and are hoping this talk pushes the Jets away from swapping Wilson for Fields.
  6. Just looked into Ellerson Smith. He could be available between 3-5. Small school guy with great stats, shined at the senior bowl, plus has excellent combine numbers. The dude is nearly 6'7 and has 83" wingspan as well. 7. I like JaCoby Stevens out of LSU. May not contribute right away but could be an asset later in the season. He should be available in the later rounds.
  8. Looking at the current roster I'm thinking there's a strong possibility the Bills will take 3 DBs (1st rd, 2 x 5th rd), and a speed back in the draft (6th or 7th). All others will be BPA without an emphasis on positional need. Obviously this is all dependent on how the draft goes, but it's just a hunch. I hope they take Kelvin Joseph or Stokes at 30. Both guys have had success against speedy receivers in the SEC. I'm leaning towards Joseph due to his success against Alabama's WRs. I think he only gave up a pass or two and had a pick. Stokes played well too but gave up a few contested catches to Smith with one being a TD. Either way, I'd be thrilled with either player. Both would be extremely successful playing opposite of Tre White. I also like the idea of adding a big nickle as well. JaCoby Stevens could be an option in the later rounds. With his size and speed combo, he'd be a real nice asset on special teams as well. I feel our 3rd DB will be a hybrid type that can be plugged in at safety or CB. Israel Mukuamu could be that guy and could also contribute against move TEs as he develops further. Outside of the DBs, I think they may look at a speed back / return specialist in the later rounds. Adding speed with Brieda tells me they want guys that can hit the hole or get to the edge FAST. I think the kid from Iowa State, Kene Nwangwu could add great value in the later rounds. The kid has all the gears and can be a return specialist as well. I don't think he has a lot of experience here, but if he wants to make the team he may need to make an impression as a gunner as well. Would love to see us move on from T Jones. Either way, can't wait to see who they pick. Go Bills!!
  9. With the timing of this, it looks like a someone is trying to lower his stock. Might work and lower the asking price by the Texans.
  10. Haven't heard of him. Gonna take a look. 👍 Edit: scratch that. I remember this guy. I figure he'd be gone mid round but damn if we could move up and land him! 🤑
  11. My guess is that's what we do with our 1st. The two Georgia CBs have elite speed. Not sure if there are many others that have a top grade.
  12. Does anyone know if there is a pro day hub where they post the results? NFL Network has a page, but it doesn't seem like they have a section for the results, only dates. https://www.nfl.com/draft/pro-days Edit - found PFFs results tracker. https://www.pff.com/news/draft-2021-nfl-draft-pro-day-schedule-pro-day-results-tracker
  13. For me, I'd compare the 2021 Patriots to the 2000 Ravens team. No, I'm not saying their defense is that good, but I am saying their philosophy will be the same. Below are five reasons why I think we will see a very competitive Patriots for 2021. Their defense is really good, and that will not change this year. The Pats do a great job with drafting talent at LB & DL so their losses may be again with the younger players like Chase Winovich being a featured player this year. They have three quality RBs that will take the pressure off of the pass game. Yes Tom didn't have that much luck, but he was also outside of his current realm as an aging QB with diminishing skills. Tom clearly wanted to electrify like he did in the past, but couldn't do that with the weapons he had last season. If Tom would have checked down more often and opted for more running plays then I think he would have had some more success in the passing game with less attempts. Their o-line is well above average and WHEN HEALTHY can put up a fight in both the pass and run game. Whoever is back their leading the way will have plenty of time to run a west coast type offense with plenty of play action. If Stidham wins the competition then we will see some option plays due to his mobility. Their special teams can win them games, and that will continue into 2021. What separates the Patriots with other teams on special teams is that they have a very deep roster with physical players that can win with both speed and strength. Even their long snapper can lay a mean hit on coverages. The QB play will be mediocre like it has been for the past 2 seasons. Tom had some terrible games the past two years and I feel we won't see a decline in what he provided if the Patriots roll out a conservative west coast styled offense with their new QB. Even with Tom looking absolutely terrible against us, the Patriots won because of their defense and special teams. Not a lot of QBs can play any worse than how Tom played against us last season. The new QB will have a much tighter leash so I'd except a ton of run plays against us next season and maybe 15 passes max. Because of the reasons listed above I believe the Patriots are still an extreme threat and we cannot take them lightly. They didn't beat anyone last season with their QB play; it was all their defense and special teams which will continue to shine in 2021. But.....I still think we have what it takes to knock them off their throne this year. Our team has added in areas that will benefit us against the Patriots strengths. Adding D-Line strength and depth will allow us to control the run game without missing a beat. We have arguably the best LB tandem in Edmunds and Milano that can only get better. Adding Klein to the mix will help out run defense even more as he specializes in stopping the run and shooting the gap. The Patriots don't want to throw against us so winning in the trenches is a must if we want to take the Patriots out in 2021. Our offense has added a clear-cut #1 WR that will alleviate the pressures on both Cole and Smoke. This will clear those intermediate and short routes from having the overtop help along with Gilmore shadowing Diggs everywhere he goes. This will essentially leave Smoke and Cole covered by either an inexperienced slot or DB with a slower LB trying to make a move on them in space. adding Moss to the equation will add a younger faster version of what Gore did to them last year. Gore had a very good game against the Pats running north and south. I think that the Patriots will have a winning record next season - 9-7 or 10-6. but the BILLS will make them look silly next year, and win the division - 11-5 to 13-3. GO BILLS!
  14. Was a terrible idea, but we had fun. We all didn't make it past the Green Bay pick.
  15. We've had a draft keg party for 7 yrs now that would include dinner, snacks, drinks, beer on tap, and some draft drinking games. The games would mainly be for trades and if you called a pick right, etc. Not a lot into it that because we would all be congregating and having a good time. This year will be a little different... We're going to have a telecom along with a drinking game catered to the virtual draft. Because we're all isolated and in our homes we won't have to worry about drinking and driving...but you may fall on your way to bed Here's the rules: Draft pick glitch - 1 shot Trade - Chug a beer Pick the pick (1st to call it) - chose a person to take a shot Call a trade (1st to call it) - choose a person to chug a beer or take a shot with Commentators glitch - chug a beer Team misses pick due to technical difficulties - we all take a double shot *Note: You can substitute a shot with a full beer, wine cooler, or mixed drink. You can substitute a beer with a wine cooler, mixed drink, or a shot.
  16. I would take this guy in the 1st if we still had our pick. No way we pass on him in the 2nd. My guess is that we make a move up to the top 10 of the 2nd to grab him. No clue what the comp would be but may include a DT considering we have 5 on the roster.

  18. Thank you sir. My guess is the Bills keep him on the roster until they can find a replacement. He will most likely be cut following the final preseason game if they feel comfortable with his successor(s).
  19. When is Murphy's contract guaranteed for 2021? Because his cap hit is so low I doubt we cut him right away. Beene stated last season that they look for players 27 and younger when throwing long term deals out there so I'm thinking that trend continues. I think he also stated last year that they do not want to put themselves in a cap situation ever again, which leads me to believe that all (or most) top tier FA will not be a priority for us this offseason. My guess is we will go into FA gauging value from Lawson, but will explore other DE FA as well. I feel Ogbah will be high on our list because of his draft measurables (raw potential) and age. He lacked production throughout his career, but McDermott has a way with taping into underdeveloped potential. As far as the draft I feel the pass rush will be their #1 priority. With Murphy, Hughes, Ogbah/Lawson, Johnson, and Love on the roster they will be prepared to trade up in the draft to as high as 11 for a pass rusher. Now I haven't looked at the value chart as of yet, but I think the Bills can package a 2021 pick (2nd round) with late 2020 picks (5th - 7th round), and their 2020 1st to move up to 11 (if need be) to snag a blue chip prospect. Not sure who will fall or rise high enough to be coveted at that spot, but I feel the Bills have what it takes to make a move that high and keep their 2020 2nd and 3rd round picks. This is a separate matter, but the 2nd and 3rd round picks will be used to snag a WR with the 2nd, and BPA in the 3rd (G, CB, or LB).
  20. I'm not a fan of losing to the Patriots, and am clawing at my eyes while writing this, but I somehow feel satisfied with what we did to the Patriots. I lost my voice, woke up my son, pissed off the wife, and scared the dogs all while watching this game. Yes the refs and Pats pocket book won the game, but we absolutely imposed our will against the BEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE! They do not want to play us again, but they may actually play us two more times this year. The Pats left the field emotionally, and physically defeated, but somehow came away with a win. The Bills left the field enraged, motivated, and more hungry than I've ever seen them. Wins are everything in this league but we occasionally need a realty check, and this game may be that as well as the straw that finally broke the camels back. The league has been notified that the Buffalo Bills are serious contenders this year and for years to come. GO BILLS! P.S - No more hero ball by Josh until the final 2 min (if needed) and we will be walking away with the Lombardi at the end of the season.
  21. The Bills are looking for an attention getter at the TE position. Not necessarily someone that will consistently produce, but someone that will command attention (ie. produced at a high level at some point in their career). The kind of attention that relives some of the pressure off of the WRs and RBs. We may have a gem in Knox, but he will not get any respect out there until he shows that he can do something. The same goes for Croom. Kroft at the very least has a reputation of a large TE that can move fairly well and catch the ball. Defenses would have had to pay attention to that and either jam at the line, shadow the safety over top to prevent the seem and so on. That type of attention at that position is what the Bills want so we can open up the fade to the WRs or wheel routes to the RBs. I can almost guarantee the Bills will bring in another vet TE that has had decent success as a receiver in the past. Doubt there is a free agent out there so this would most definitely be an acquisition through trade.
  22. Ziggy's sister lives in MD. Makes sense for him to sign with the Ravens.
