  1. No clue who diggy zoo is but my buddy is a skins fan. Said Murphy was asked to gain weight rapidly to play 3-4 DE, then was asked to cut weight rapidly when junior gallette was injured and move back to OLB. Seems like this guy is super dedicated to his team and quite possibly could be the result of trainers giving him a named substance as well.
  2. No denying the guy is tough, but he plays hurt a lot. I know most players, if not all, okay hurt. Just saying the guy seems to always have some sort of ailment. From his hamstring, to his shoulder, to his hand, and ankle. He avoids most major hits due to his quickness/ellusivness, but historically RBs over 30 don't do well. Another team in the league would look at all this and his salary and say no to a trade. All I'm saying. Love what shady has done for us and hope to see him stay a few more years. Go Bills!
  3. Because of his salary I doubt he'd have a lot of value, especially since he's 30 with durability issues.
  4. I guess that could be right. I'm not a GM, but if I was I wouldn't trade down just to trade back up. All I'm saying...
  5. Kind of why I don't like how they select the pro bowl rosters during the season. The final vote should be in the days following the final regular season game.
  6. Teams trade back all of the time and select a variety of players. If the Bills wanted a top QB last year they would have selected one. McDermott wanted to see what he had in TT so they opted to either stay put (select top player on their board) or trade down and accumulate picks. The accumulation of picks has nothing to do with trading up the next year especially if their in the offseason. If that was their goal, then tanking this season would have made a lot more sense as it would have improved their draft position significantly. Now, I'm not saying a trade up won't happen, it's just the justification that I don't agree with.
  7. Definitely can be done, but I hope we keep as many picks as possible. Even though we managed to make the playoffs, we have a bunch of holes going into the offseason. I'm not sure the goal of adding additional draft picks is to move up the following year. If the opportunity presents itself and you have the ammo, then by all means trade up. I just think the reasoning for the additional picks is to add players of their liking. They obviously weren't thrilled with those guys that were traded.
  8. Bills brass won't mortgage the future as they've stated time and again that they will build for now and the future. So, in my eyes the most logical move for them is to trade the two 1st round picks to get up to 7 or 8. with the trade value chart (http://www.ourlads.com/nfldraftvalue/) both of their picks combined are 1520 points while 7 (Bucs) and 8 (Bears) are worth 1500 and 1400. My guess is that the Bucs and Bears would want a little more especially if we're in a bidding war with another team. Trading up to 6 would almost certainly be too steep of a price with it being the Jets, and I doubt we would give up additional picks to move up into the top 5.
  9. He was arrested not too long ago, so I am certain he would never don the Bills logo. I do however believe the Bills will trade up for a QB if their top guy falls to 7 or 8 (only if they grade him out as a top 10 pick). If not, then they will stay put and snag whoever falls, or trades down further for future picks. link:
  10. It's not that difficult to use someone's cell phone as a listening device. The fact that he was constantly on his cell phone could be an indicator of that. If anyone in that booth had a cellphone that was turned on, that guy was definitely in range. The Patriots will always be a part of shady shenanigans, that's their identity, and they don't care as long as they win.
  11. Playing darts, drinking beer, and smoking cigarettes in my garage. My father and I are neck to neck, we're both on bulls and I've got one down. My three bros in law are also in attendance. We all looked anxiously at the screen of a Galaxy s8. The cloud of cigarette smoke is burning our eyes...4th and 12....no shot at all....wait till next year mentality. Then we saw the adjustments made pre snap...almost looked like an illegal shift...ball is snapped....no flags....Dalton climbs the pocket....draws back...and the red rocket fires the ball. When my dad and I (Both Buffalo Natives) saw that catch and run, it was absolutely amazing! We both jumped up and down, yelling and screaming, hugging and crying. Our 2018 was put into perspective that very moment. Maybe the daily struggles will stop, maybe the luck will finally be on our side. What that play did for thousands of Bills fans in that very moment was indescribable. We all felt it at the same time, thousands of miles a part, we all felt it. At that very moment hope was finally restored to WNY, and to every Bills fan around the world. WOW! What a great time to be a Bills fan. Thank you all for enjoying that moment with me. It was truly a special moment. Go Bills!
  12. ~~~ X-Files music playing in the background ~~~ Is this the real Dunkirk Don?
  13. Check out Brewers Alley if you'd like a decent craft brew
  14. Why would the Bills brass be interested in a guy with injury issues and legal issues? I thought they planned on building a team with the opposite type of player?
  15. This is hands down the most important Bills game in nearly 20 years. I don't see us having a chance at making the playoffs at 9-7.
  16. I think that will be the case as well. That cap hit would be too costly to not get anything in return, and I doubt they will dump him this offseason due to the Dareus cap hit eating up a lot of space. We will most likely showcase his recovery in the preseason. Someone will jump on him and trade a conditional pick that would most likely rely on him being healthy throughout the season.
  17. It's all about the risk of the game. They felt the contract was too burdening, his health was in play, his off field antics, and the fact that he wasn't motivated to be the leader he is being paid to be. By drafting a guy at a much smaller price, it gives the Bills an opportunity to retain other guys or him down the road. If he doesn't work out then you go to free agency, trading block, or the draft until you find the guy. It will always be an endless cycle.
  18. I doubt ownership would be as involved. I feel like they took a step back and will let their guys handle it. But like I said before, It's a mutual decision. Beane and McDermott will come together and discuss the roster. Who to promote (Practice squad), who to sign, who to trade, and so on. As far as right now, it's mainly them talking about the practice squad, injuries, and free agency. The draft talk won't come until after the season is finished. I don't think there should ever be a situation where Beane says that you have to coach this guy or else...and so on. Now there may be situation where McDermott wants a guy so Beane goes after him, but the money isn't right. So the guy walks and signs elsewhere. McDermott can't say, hey go pay him now. That's not how it works. Beane controls the money decision in this one. So, to answer your question, I think they both have final say in certain situations, but ultimately it is a mutual decision between the both of them that makes sense both financially and with the roster. If there is no agreement, then they move on from it.
  19. This is also true, but how effective would a team be if you didn't want a certain type of player on the field? Not saying that was the situation that we are discussing, but you can't have a guy fielding players, or taking players at will. There needs to be a mutual agreement for their relationship to be long term and effective. If these allegations are true, then this is an example of a healthy relationship in my opinion.
  20. Yeah, really like it here. There is so much to do in all directions. More impressed with the cost of living and how close it is to higher paying jobs. Makes the commute completely worth it.
  21. Look at it this way: Beane is your typical HR guy, and McDermott is the Hiring Manager. HR finds the applicants that fit the bill of need and McDermott makes the call on whether that person is the right fit for the team. So, if HR and HM disagree on a guy do you think HR would get upset that HM didn't want a guy that wouldn't gel with the other workers?
  22. I would absolutely love this with Kirk Cousins at QB It's all about the Benjamin's! The Bills would rather pay $7 mill less a year for a run stopping DT.
  23. I doubt it. Beane will never control who starts and should know that. He makes personnel decisions, and runs them by the coach to see if it works with him as well. Looks like a very healthy relationship to me.
