  1. It really is a toss up between DT and DE, to where the 5th guy come from, but I didn't factor in his injury. We could definitely see your scenario play out. I do have to disagree with your interior lineman case. Wood has been extremely fragile his entire career, so I think Groy will get called on at some point this season to spell him out. Ducasse is a favorite for the coaches, so I don't see him going anywhere. He also has the versatility to play either interior line position (Even if he's not good in either position). It'd be a lot smarter to keep them both.
  2. This is what I got so far. Could be a toss up between Seau, and Valles. I'll go with Seau based on the last game. We could also see both cut if we can find a nice FS behind Poyer, not a fan of Colt Anderson. Sentrel Henderson and Walt Powell are both suspended, but I'm not sure if either make the cut. 3. We need depth in other areas. No other team will sign him, so we're better off to cut him now, and use his roster spot to carry an extra WR or DB. If we need to later, we can always sign him or Wenning of the street again.
  4. This is a tough one after last game, but it was against a bunch of guys that won't make an NFL roster. Banyard might be the odd one out with Jones' speed around the edge and as a gunner (Also has return ability). The Bills will definitely keep both DiMarco and Tolbert. I see some wishbone/option packages with DiMarco and Tolbert as up backs while Shady stands alone in the back. Could be a great short yardage formation with a possibility to stretch either side of the field. Shady (RB) J Will (RB) Tolbert (RB/FB) Jones (RB/ST Gunner) DiMarco (FB)
  5. I'd love to see us add a speedster, whether it is Dorsett or another guy, we desperately need some speed on returns and for our play-action passing game. I know that Zay and a few others have straight line speed, but we need a guy that can has good stop-n-go speed (i.e. quickness and acceleration).
  6. Miller is young, cost efficient, and durable. We would all be surprised and confused if they went that route. It would be an opposite approach to what they have been doing this whole off season.
  7. 100% signing with a proven team. We have 0% chance at signing him.
  8. That is what I hope for. Watching the Bills carry three QBs and a kick specialist the past few seasons took at least 5 years off my lifespan. Thomas should make the team, but as a low level contributor it would be wise to give him additional roles.
  9. Oh, of course. I was just looking at the possibility of him stepping in, if need be, down the road. I hate carrying 3 on the roster, but we might have to. Do you anyone out there that might come in for the last game? Maybe a guy that could stick around on the PS if we drop down to 2 QBs on the roster.
  10. I wouldn't mind getting him in there to learn the playbook. Kind of what Webb does in Carolina. Plays WR, and a lot of special teams
  11. I say reduce to 2 pre-season games and eliminate the HOF game. Add an extra bye week and an additional game to the season that would take place during pre season games 3 and 4 (the bye obviously would be randomized throughout the season). Add 3 players to the active roster (2 more dress each game), with another designated IR player that can return. This would add more revenue, allow the players to rest an additional week, give an opportunity for teams to retain 3 more prospects, eliminate .500 teams, and give us more competitive football to watch.
  12. That is the only reason he made my list. Lol I believe they will see success within three years, but not a Super Bowl. I like your prediction, but think we will be closer to .500 this season.
  13. I thought about that as well. If a lot of the teams we play have setbacks this year it may be possible. I don't see that happening though.
  14. It really does. I was shocked to see how many of these guys were awful their first season. Hopefully we don't chase this guy out of town. I'd hate to see him win somewhere else. Completely understood. There is a lot of baggage that I left out, but winning is all that matters in this league.
  15. Here is a short list that I came up with of successful-great coaches within their first three years of being an NFL coach. Most were not successful their first year, and only two have won a Super Bowl in their rookie year as coach. There are plenty more to add to the list, but these are a few that came to mind while thinking about this topic. From the coaches that did not do well in their first three season, I saw a few that have gone to several later on in their careers. Only one did not win a championship, but set the record for most consecutive Super Bowl runs (Sad Face). Feel free to add some more coaches to the list, but the moral of this is that we cannot judge a coach on his first season. We need to give this guy some time to build, and hopefully succeed later on down the road. We all saw how he overcame adversity when he was fired by Andy Reid several years ago. his dude can adapt and overcome which is one thing in common with most of these guys on this list. Can't wait to watch this guy grow and groom this team for the next three seasons and beyond. GO BILLS! EDIT: Do Not Try To Copy And Paste An Excel Document Here! Coach Year 1 Year 2 Year 3 Andy Reid 5-11 11-5 11-5 Bill Belichick 6-10 7-9 7-9 Bill Cowher 11-5 9-7 12-4 Bill Parcells 3-12 9-7 10-6 Bill Walsh 2-14 6-10 13-3 Chuck Noll 1-13 5-9 6-8 Don McCafferty 11-2-1 10-4 1-4 Don Shula 8-6 12-2 10-3-1 George Seiferti 14-2 14-2 10-6 Jimmy Johnson 1-15 7-9 11-5 Joe Gibbs 8-8 8-1 14-2 John Fox 7-9 11-5 7-9 John Madden 12-1-1 8-4-2 8-4-2 Jon Gruden 8-8 8-8 12-4 Marv Levy 4-12 7-9 8-8 Marvin Lewis 8-8 8-8 11-5 Mike Holmgren 9-7 9-7 9-7 Mike McCarthy 8-8 13-3 6-10 Mike Shanahan 7-9 1-3 8-8 Mike Tomlin 10-6 12-4 9-7 Pete Carrol 6-10 10-6 9-7 Sean Payton 10-6 7-9 8-8 Tom Coughlin 4-12 9-7 11-5 Tom Landry 0-11-1 4-9 5-8 Tony Dungy 6-10 10-6 8-8 Vince Lombardi 7-5 8-4 11-3
  16. Exactly! He showed no fear running in to make a play. Was kind of refreshing to see that after watching Gilmore whif on just about every tackle attempt.
  17. He made some great tackles as well. Not sure if any were in the open field, but I did see him fly in and tackle without fear. Plus, I think he had a few pass break ups as well.
  18. He will never know until he goes for it. When you're scared of heights, what should you do to overcome that fear? It's definitely not standing on the ground. The dude needs to take a chance on his first look.
  19. It's a lack of trust in himself. He hangs on to it out of fear of making a mistake. Checking blitzes should be second nature to him. We saw that safety flying up for the blitz and he let him time it perfectly. He should have called a hard count in that situation, which most likely would have drawn them offside, or at least audible the blocking scheme.
  20. What are you talking about? Lol I am talking about any three step drop from under the center. TT cannot execute it at all, no matter what play call, which is why they should eliminate every three step drop from under center. He's not a pocket passer, so get rid of it entirely.
  21. This was about as bad as I've seen in a long time. From what I saw, they should throw it out of the playbook entirely unless it's a screen or pass to the flats. Just awful...
  22. He seriously needs to get that ball out on time. The dude is a mobile QB who has a horrible time breaking down a defense when he is that close to the line. He took a three step drop several times and just stood there. I hope he goes back to watch the film and the light pops on because that was about as bad as I've seen from him since he's been here. The best part about this crappy showing is that the coaches can either look at this to improve or throw away all pocket passing plays with a three step drop. If they want quick passes they need to put him in the gun or pistol. Maybe swing passes with the 3 step drop but that's it! The dude is so far away from NFL pocket passer it's not even funny. The OC needs to stop trying to put him in that situation and trying to mold the player around the scheme. He needs to mold the scheme around the player.
  23. Uhm no! He was caught with weed and alcohol in his system, but the dude was out eating molly, shrooms, and blowin' back lines with Johnny Football in Cali and Coachilla . Get your facts straight homies! Edit: THE DUDE IS A JUNKIE!
