  1. Rueben Foster: I'm sure he will be a great football player, but I don't want anybody that can't act like a professional during the most important interview of your life. It could be nothing, but I have a feeling this guy will have a lot of issues in his personal life.
  2. Highly doubt we give up $4 mil for a second string RB. I think Whaley will take the 5th and draft a punter
  3. Our cover two scheme relies on smaller, faster LB play. Reddick is actually a bull based on his size and him being a successful DE in college. He should transition nicely in our system without damaging his body throughout the season.
  4. Agreed! It's difficult to monitor a thread with several hundred comments. Maybe it's possible there could be sub threads through the off-season. Draft thread with sub-threads like mock drafts, players, visits, combine/pro day result, and so on. Would limit the clutter, and allow us to better navigate the site. Just saw this: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/186094-lets-redesign-two-bills-drive-and-the-stadium-wall/
  5. I really like both players, but don't see Watt making a transition to WLB or SLB within our system. I think he can make a beautiful transition to MLB like what Clay Mathews did for the Packers, but will do his best as a rusher in a 3-4 scheme. I could be wrong, but I think his top speed will hold him back in our scheme as a LB unless he added weight and played DE like his big bro. Reddick is my top guy for our system because of his athleticism. He was formally a CB, but was moved to DE for some reason. It's a bit of a flag for me considering he could have moved to safety or LB, but I still think he can cover zone within our scheme as the WLB. Hopefully the Bills do their due diligence on these two, because I think they could be a few of the best players in this draft as well.
  6. I would rather not have two special teams (Lorax and Humber) aces and a 5th round pick as our best options for our starting OLBs I find that hard to believe
  7. I'd love to have this guy, but I can see the Bills new regiment passing on him due to the combine issue he had. I personally don't want him for that very reason, and would rather trade down and grab Hasson Reddick. He has more versatility and should do fine in coverage even without extended experience. Agreed. They want high character guys that can set the example both on and off the field.
  8. 1. Mike Williams : Bengals 2. Corey Davis : Titans 3. Malik Hooker : Saints 4. OJ Howard : Jaguars 5 Mitch Trubisky : 49ers Bills Pick (bonus) : Hasson Reddick
  9. His mock is absolute garbage. I wouldn't mind Adams, but the rest of his mock is ridiculous.
  10. Did the Saints draft Brees? Did the Packers draft Favre? Did the Raiders draft Gannon? Did the Rams or Cardinals draft Warner? Dude, you don't need to draft a QB for success. TJ Yates will only start for the Bills if there is an injury to TT. Plus this also doesn't eliminate the possibility the Bills draft a QB either. He's a vet that the Bills can fall back on unless one of the top QBs drop to the Bills in Rd 2-3, which is very likely to happen given the lack of talent.
  11. Would love to add a scat back to compliment McCoy and add to our return game. Logan would be a huge pickup if that were the case.
  12. Not sold on Foster with his inability to handle himself in a public setting for the most important job interview of his life. Myles Garret is the only guy I would take without trading down and there is almost no chance he slides to ten. Trade down with the Browns and take Reddick.
  13. This was only if the Bills gave up on TT. I still think this guy is the most "NFL" ready QB in the draft though. I don't think he will be a star, but he will definitely be a solid starter in the right scheme. I came up with a different draft scenario after all of the off-season moves. Complete 180 compared to where I was here. You may have seen it in several threads because I was ticked off that there were 17 different mock threads. Lol Check it out below: After looking at the Bills depth for all positions, I believe the most glairing need based on depth is at OLB, with CB coming in at a close second, and DE coming in at a distant third. WR, Safety, and RT have a lot of depth, but still have question marks. Within the draft, I really don't see a lot of depth at LB in the later rounds that would produce a possible day 1 starter. That would be my # 1 need since we have two starting OLBs that are career special teams aces. DB is stacked this year, and I believe we can find a day 1 starter / contributor in the later rounds. DE is set with their two starters, but lack serious depth in a scheme that requires a lot of subbing in and out. Fortunately there is some solid depth here as well that we can address in the later rounds as well. We have projected starters, and projected backups for WR, S, and RT, but seriously lack the guy we truly desire so I could see us making a play on either one of these positions early in the draft. With this being said, here is my prediction for the upcoming draft. 1-10: Trade to Browns for 1-12, 4-108, 5-175 (Browns take Deshaun Watson) 1-12: Bills take OLB Ha'ason Reddick (With his athleticism, he'll fit any scheme. I project him to play the "Will" but will rush the passer often) 2-44: Bills take TE Evan Engram (Will be primarily a move TE with Clay / O'Leary filling most blocking duties) 3-75: Bills take CB Shaquill Griffin (Could start day 1. Physical, long armed, tackling CB) 4-108: Bills take DE Dawuane Smoot (More of a run defending DE, but would be thrown in rotation immediately) 5-156: Bills take WR Robert Davis (Had a great combine, but lacked production in college. Will play a role on special teams) 5-171 Bills take CB Brian Allen (Another combine freak. Could push for playing time, but needs a lot of work) 5-175 Bills take WR Levonte "Kermit" Whitfield (Kermit provides insurance to Listenbee, and is also a great return man) 6-195 Bills take OL Jerry Ugokwe (McDermott likes this kids potential as well as the school he comes from) Well there you have it. As you can see there are no QBs taken this year, but the Bills will surely add one via free agency after the draft. The Bills will also sign a few more pass rushers and LBs as well. GO BILLS!
  14. This is very true. You can never say never in this league. I watched too many teams make crazier decisions than this, but I don't see them taking a QB with this crop of guys unless Peterman falls to them in the 5th which most likely won't happen. He could be a day 2 pick, and maybe move to day 1 if the Texans really like him.
  15. You have a few weeks to stay on this "We're getting a new QB" high, so soak it up as much as you can big guy.
  16. I'm not saying the Bills will win every game they play, but I do believe they want to put a competitive product on the field that will also set a foundation for years to come. QB is a MUST in this league, but I feel the Bills are going to take their shot next year if ole' TT fails to deliver in this new system. It would just be too damaging for the rest of the team to know that they are tanking the season, or trying to "just get by" until next season so a new QB can start. Kyle Williams would not have returned if that were the case. So, QB at 10 is a definite NO in my book, and a definite NO within the first several picks of the draft.
  17. LMAO!! Yeah I got yelled at yesterday on the "Shout" board, but damn man there are like 10 draft boards going on at once. Someone needs to centralize them.
  18. I really wanted to pick up another LB and almost slotted Miami's LB Jermaine Grace in for one of the later 5th round selections. I decided not to with all of his issues off the field. I am almost positive McDermott will stay far away from guys like that, unless they are already on the roster. I do see us adding a few after the draft by way of undrafted FA(s) as well a veteran or two. Will be interesting to see what actually happens later this month.
  19. I believe there is a very, very low chance of the Bills taking a QB high or even at all in this draft. The Bills want to contend but habe glaring holes all over the field. They also don't have enough picks to fill those holes, so trading down and acquiring more picks is the best option in my opinion. There are several teams in need of a QB, and the Bills aren't one of them. TT is not Aaron Rogers, but he's a solid starter that the Bills deemed fit for the position over the next few years. If he flakes out, there will be better QBs in the 2018 draft.
  20. The Saint's are openly looking for Drew Brees' future replacement, and the Browns desperately need a QB, so I see the Browns trading up two spots to snag him before the Saints or another team takes him in their place.
  21. Exactly what I was thinking as well. Browns have plenty of picks for the next decade so this wouldn't hurt at all.
  22. You have got to be kidding me? Your excuse for his behavior is that he had a long day? LMFAO!!!
  23. No not at all sir! The Bills will sign a vet and rookie FA after the draft. Between those 3, there will be a competition for backup which Cardarle will most likely win.
  24. That's all I know of, but see that as enough to pass in my opinion. If you can't act like a professional anywhere, especially in a place like the combine, then there is no place on my roster for guys like that.
  25. The Saint's are openly looking for a Drew Brees replacement, and the Browns desperately need a QB, so I see the Browns trading up two spots to snag him. I used the draft pick trade "thing" from CBS to determine the picks worth. 10th is worth 1300 while 12th is worth 1200. The Browns 4th and 5th round picks equal around 100 together making it an even trade.
