  1. Here are a few reasons why: The guy puts in the time and effort to game plan specifically against each opponent (Unlike the Rex goon squad and the predictable blitz on every 3rd down). He revolutionized Belichick's world by transition the pencil and paper days to the digital era (obviously the tablet thing didn't work). Has experience working with the offense, defense, and shadowed Bill on scouting trips. Lastly, he is a f****** rocket scientist!
  2. The dudes a rocket scientist...literally! http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2016/11/28/nfl-matt-patricia-bill-belichick-patriots-defense
  3. Rex and only Rex. He doesn't adjust his scheme to accommodate the skillset of his players. All great coaches do that and he just doesn't. Tyrod is exactly what we thought he would be, a great runner. As a passer he cannot read the field, and a lot of that has to do with game planning. If the offense was run with a quick passing scheme with an occasional deep pass here and there, he would be successful. As a deep passer who cannot see over the middle, he is absolutely horrendous. I mean the play action type that completely fools the defense. Whaley has made the mistake on a few occasions by jumping up in the draft. Never jump up, always jump down and select quality players with little added pressure. Plus, you can set yourself up for future drafts with additional picks. Brandon is strictly on the business side of it. Keep him far away from football and hockey decisions. Like I said with Rex, if Rex had any clue at all he would make adjustments to support his players weakness and attack the opposing teams weaknesses. I think Patricia would be the best candidate from Bills regime based on his ability to run the ever changing Patriots defense. He also has experience on the offensive side which gives him an added dimension when it comes to running a team.
  4. One thing I do agree with, is that TT is not good enough for the contract extension at the end of the year. Unless he miraculously turns his game around and wins us games with his arm, I don't see it happening at all. Now don't get me wrong here, I think he has done a tremendous job running our offense in the running game, but his passing presence is god awful. As for his possible successor, I'd go after anyone other than Romo, Cutler, or Fitz. They're poison to this franchise in my opinion. Glennon is my top pick, unless we decide to address the position in the draft. If we decide to draft, we should go after McCown, or Foles. Now as for the draft, I'd rather go after a playmaking safety in round 1 like Jabril Peppers. Round 2-4 should be CB, WR, or RT. As for the QB, I really, really like Nathan Peterman out of Pitt and I think we can get him later in the draft as well.
  5. I've been a fan for 27 years and will continue to support them no matter what! Back in 2011 I was deployed from February to November, and all I thought about was that I wouldn't get a chance to watch a Bills game until December, but I was wrong. Some guy that worked with AFN (American Forces Network) rigged a weekly vote for football games to be shown on the network. So, because of a fan like that, I saw the Bills go 5-2 through the first 8 games of the year before the network posted a banner telling viewers to vote against watching Bills games. A part from this, there were several instances down in Brazil where we almost always saw a Bills flag in the background of what was being broadcasted. After every home game we hear about how out of control Bills tailgaters are. To be honest, it doesn't matter if we're at home or away. I was at the Bills vs Redskins game last year, and the Bills fans were damn near rioting! My point is, is that we are everywhere, we a hardcore, and we make sure everyone knows about it! Win or lose the Bills will always have the absolute best fans EVER!
  6. His athleticism blinds him from finding the open guy. Although his head remains down field, he seems to have tunnel vision. Once he scrambles, unless the receiver is right in his line of sight, he will not see the open guy. Not sure how he can fix it, but it if he can, I'm sure that he would have several more scores and maybe a few more wins.
  7. I like TT when it comes to his athleticism, but not as a passer. His vision downfield is way too inconsistent. I disagree with the QB sneak option with bigger bodied guys like EJ and Jones. It's one dimensional, predictable, and just plain stupid! I've seen Brees do it a million times, especially this past Sunday, and he is actually smaller than TT. I honestly like our WR core, it's just that TT can't seem to find the open guy downfield. I'm sure this has been addressed a million times this year, nut there still hasn't been any improvement. Safety was a big topic last season, but wasn't addressed in the draft because we already had a few younger talents on the roster, which is why we went after vets. This offseason I'd be shocked if we didn't take at least two safeties in the draft with Williams situation and Graham's age. I do think the Bills will go after another WR next year, but I pray to the Football Gods it's not a first round pick Lastly, Romo is the biggest joke ever! He'd be out for the season after one hit, so you better get a great backup QB as well.
  8. I would compare him to Derek Carr, and would have him going in the 2nd to 3rd round if he didn't get hurt. After the injury, he'll fall to the 5th or 6th round unless a team jumps in the 4th. Could be great, but needs some time to mature. Maybe this injury will give him the time he needs to fix the off-field shenanigans.
  9. It definitely looks like some miscommunication between Darby and Gilmore. The rest of the team is in man coverage except for Darby, but maybe with trips right and crossing patterns they're supposed to swap guys to cover any gaps. Either way, it seems like this screw up was on both of our top cover corners. I'm just glad this did not cost us the game. http://www.49ers.com/video/videos/Torrey-Smith-Scores-on-Deep-Pass-from-Kaepernick/8f04c5d0-621d-421c-ba6e-cc6545234816
  10. I still stand by my prediction after our 0-2 start
  11. I think he is looking for the big lumbering Roethlisberger type. Both EJ and Cardale fit that mold but I highly doubt they become half the QB Big Ben is.
  12. If Tyrod takes more than a three step drop, unless he rolls out, our offensive line will get destroyed! Our running game may be the best option since Shady is so good at stretching and cutting up field.
  13. "You get what you pay for," Josh Norman I was a firm believer in dropping Gilmore after this season and going with a cheaper option until Julio Jones torched the Norman-less Panthers for 300 yds. Without Gilmore, Darby will be rarely targeted because he has proven himself in this league, and the Gilmore replacement will be the focal point of every opposing offense we face next year. Gilmore hasn't shinned like he wants to get paid, but he also hasn't stunk completely. He may occasionally give up a contested catch, or whiff on an open field tackle, but with him in there our defense is in much better shape than having a rookie in there. So, with that being said, I think Gilmore will get paid like he's one of the best unless he tanks the rest of the year or suffers any major injury. I'd love to give Brown a chance, but I think he will be looking for big money after this season. He's playing lights out football and is a big part of the reason why we shut down the Patriots. Jordan Mills may also be an option, but I can see the Bills offering him a one year deal as they give Henderson another shot next year to re-claim his starting spot.
  14. Gilmore is a joke! I'd re-sign him if his price drops to around $7 mil per year. He will never be worth what he is looking for. Brown definitely deserves a second look, but it all depends on how he performs through out the year. So far, he looks like the best player on the field.
  15. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if we kept him he wouldn't have counted against our active roster. So, I don't think we're going to resign him at all going forward. We'd go after Boom Herron or a guy off the street before calling his name.
  16. I posted this in another thread If we decide to dump house and go for another coach, I'd pick Sean McDermott. He was Jim Johnson's protégé with the Eagles, but couldn't live up to the hype. He was let go the same year he was promoted to defensive coordinator when the defense declined to produce. Two days later Ron Rivera hired him as his defensive coordinator to help rebuild an aging defense, and make them relevant again. They had the 28th ranked defense the first year, but went 10th, 2nd, 10th, and 6th the following years reaching the playoffs three times, and the super bowl once. Here's a few players he was responsible for molding: Gregg Hardy, Josh Norman, Luke Kuechly, Kawann Short, Kon Ealy, and rejuvenating Thomas Davis' career. He's also still young enough to understand and incorporate modern trends into a defense that seems to suit his players best abilities. A trait that I believe is very important within our division. As for the offense, I could only hope that he selects a coach that will try and control the clock a little better than our current coaching staff. Our defense would be a lot better if they didn't have to go back on the field 45 seconds after 8 min drives.

  18. TT with a 16 yd run 3rd and goal with 16 yards to go. After a run for a loss and sack the following play, TT looks to Sammy for the fade, then looks Woods over the middle, but nothing is open. He pump fakes to freeze Weddle and takes off to the left. He beats Suggs and Mosley around the corner before cutting back up the middle. Another quick move to the left on Weddle before he pushes Webb into the endzone for the first of many 2016-2017 Bills TDs. Suggs also re-ruptures his Achilles, and Weddle goes down after tweaking his knee.
  19. $20 you said this after Rex proclaimed the Bills won the offseason
