JaCrispy
Bills should take a 2nd rounder for Tyrod...Git 'er done.
YoloinOhio
Well let's hope he's ready because their first game is against the Rams. And their backups were brutal today.
BarleyNY
It's getting a little late for Indy still to be screwing around with this. They should've had a semi-viable or better QB (besides Luck) on their roster weeks ago. Edited August 13, 2017 by BarleyNY

That's terrible even when considering NFL backup QB's struggle.

Bangarang
The Colts are really, really bad without Luck so they could be another trade up partner if he has issues all year.

They could be number one pick bad with Tolzien, and they wouldn't be looking for a QB. Luck missing the season could be the best thing to happen to the Bills. chris heff
All you need is a franchise QB, trade everyone else until you get one. It is a sure fire formula.

26CornerBlitz
No matter when Luck returns, this news won't be helpful: @AdamSchefter Colts C Ryan Kelly scheduled to undergo surgery on a bone defect in his foot Friday that is expected to sideline him 6-8 weeks, per source. mjd1001
Luck is already going into his 7th year in the league, it just doesn't seem like that long. Clock is ticking on his 'greatness' so to speak. He is a very good QB, pro-bowl level, but now with injuries racking up, and the team around him doesn't look like it has a chance to be good for a least a few years...I think the days of wondering when he will take over as the next great QB Superstar (Brady, Rodgers, Manning) are coming to an end. For the Colts sake you just want him to be healthy and be almost as good as a Matt Ryan or a Drew Brees.

GunnerBill
No Luck and no Ryan Kelly....... the Colts could be really, really bad. They are one of the teams I have me eye on as a possible to pick top 3 and be willing to trade out with Buffalo if a QB is there. Think Ballard - who is a really smart cookie - would be happy to lose this year get rid of Pagano who I don't believe he really wants and almost start with a blank sheet of paper and a new Head Coach in 2018 building around Luck, Kelly, Castonzo and the safety Butler. You could include TY Hilton too but wouldn't be surprised to see him traded away before the deadline for draft capital. The rest of that roster pretty much stinks. YoloinOhio
The only thing between Andrew Luck's bum shoulder and Aaron Donald week 1 is some unidentified replacement for Ryan Kelly. Maybe he "won't be ready" week 1 by design. Edited August 17, 2017 by YoloinOhio
Alphadawg7
Irsay finally addresses the shoulder Colts owner Jim Irsay: No guarantee Andrew Luck is ready for season opener http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000829526/article/irsay-no-guarantee-luck-is-ready-for-season-opener I said it at the time it happened, one of the worst contracts in the NFL that the Colts will live to regret. While I get WHY he got that deal, he was never going to live up to it. Luck is not only injury prone, but he is also incredibly turnover prone and stock piles stats trying to bring his team back from deficits his mistakes often put him in. He is literally a nicer and more likable Jeff George. Jeff was a guy who had all the talent in the world, and many felt had the best arm in football most of his career, however he just didn't play smart enough to reach the potential he had. Colts actually had a better record when Luck was out then when he was healthy when Hasselbeck was his backup by a wide margin. I fully recognize he is still relatively young and can continue to get better, but he is currently no where near worth the cap strangling price he is playing at right now between his poor postseason history (stats are way worse in post season and has more turnovers than TDs), his tendency to compile big stats against bad opponents and turnover machine against good ones, and he is seriously injury prone. While I get we still have question marks at our QB position, I would take our situation right now every single time over the Colts. We got a solid starter on a team friendly contract with the draft assets to go after potentially any QB in the draft next year versus a nasty contract of a QB who has never gotten his turnovers under control and can't stay on the field either. Royale with Cheese
With the potential of Kirk Cousins, Alex Smith and Drew Brees being available next year.....and a team like the Colts being really bad....we might be in better position to get that QB than initially thought. This is all really premature though. Who knows what the Big Board reads like near draft time....or which team will suck really badly. Surprises on both ends every year.
