Just got back from Spider-Man

I liked it better than Wonder Woman; although I'm one of the few that thought WW's ending sucked. Spidey was solid all the way through.

Some of the jokes went over the little kids' heads.

I'm too lazy to look up last month's thread, so I'll post it here. The wife and I went to Despicable Me this weekend. It passed the time, but the well has definitely dried up for that series. It's time for them to move on.

Why would i see a movie about one of the most ignominious military defeats ever?

Answer: I wouldn't.

Hollywood's putting out some real garbage this year.

Maybe they changed the ending to make everyone happy.

Mark, hear anything about "The Hero?" I think it was released last month but I didn't see it in the June thread. Thinking of going to see it this week as my "I'm alone in a movie theater" monthly event.

None of these look good. Planet Of The Apes will probably be Redbox material.

And enough Spider-Man movies already.

I was just thinking the other day."It's been 6 months and no new Spiderman movie yet" And voila! Also "Atomic Blonde" looks absolutely ridiculous. Hopefully a spoof but I really doubt it. Kind of porn for man hating feminists I suppose. Went to go see "Beguiled" last weekend and they rolled the "Atomic Blonde" trailer out followed by one for the Bobby Riggs vs Biil Jean Kind disaster. Then, we were treated to the "Inconvenient Truth 2" trailer. Lots to look forward to. wtf has happened to Hollywood? Just friggen horrible stuff.

New Spider-Man was pretty good.

Actually thought it was the best one to date. But, I'm also a huge comic book nerd ever since I was a kid.

Love what marvel has been doing hopefully D.C. gets their act together soon.

Spider-Man was quite good. Marvel is really crushing it at the moment with this series of summer movies.

Saw "Spider-Man: Homecoming" last night. It was outstanding. I agree with Captain Murica, it is probably the best one that's been made.

Thankfully Peter Parker's friend was not as annoying as I thought he would be. Although I thought Zendaya's character was pointless.

Great job by Tom Holland, and nice performance by Michael Keaton. Very glad to see Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
