2017 NFL combine

Recommended Posts

John Ross and O.J. Howard put up huge numbers at the combine, while Deshaun Watson put on a show.

Plus, Deshaun Watson wows on the big stage, Derek Barnett battles sickness and more from Day 4.

1. Deshaun Watson - QB - Clemson .... You'll never get a QB by not drafting one, new coaching staff new QB.

2. Zay Jones - WR - East Carolina .... Would make a fine #2

3. Josh Harvey-Clemons - SS - Louisville .... Could he be a beast like Cam Chancellor ?

5. CB

5. RT

6. Best player at a position of need

I agree but I like S Justin Evans from Texas A&M in the 3rd, he would fit our scheme perfect.

@salsports

Zay Jones a WR to keep an eye on for #Bills. They hired his WR coach from ECU as WR coach on their staff. Ran 4.46 this morning.

@nfldraftscout

Pat Mahomes has meetings with 49ers, Jets, Giants, Bills, Saints, Steelers, Browns, Redskins, Texans, Chargers

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Based on the combine, Leonard Fournette has:

- Same weight as Clay Matthews

- Same burst as Percy Harvin

- Same speed as Jordy Nelson

Clay weighs 255

He adds that "Inside the NBA" element that the No Fun League has hidden from. People love those guys because they will say whatever they feel and not care.

they can keep it, usually what they say is worthless

they can keep it, usually what they say is worthless

That is one of the funniest shows on TV. They do the exact opposite of what we always complain about with ESPN and places like that -they aren't pushing through the league's agenda. If a game is boring, they will say it boring. If a player is overrated, they will say that he's overrated. The brutal honesty, mixed with hilarious takes would be a huge improvement for the NFL. It is eary but it looks like Steve Smith may be the guy to do that.

BB just creamed himself :D

Florida Atlantic DE Trey Hendrickson's 1st unofficial 40/10: 4.68/1.62

Really nice times for him.

And so did I.

@JoshNorris

Malik McDowell 1st forty 4.90, 10 yd of 1.72 at 295 lbs

Hendrickson is a natural as a pass rusher.......those are great times for him, probably make him a big winner at this combine.

After watching him in the Shrine Game (where I thought he was effective, yet inconsistent), I wondered if he might just be a healthier version of Hau'oli Kikaha. Rotational guy that gets a lot of effort sacks but not really a great all-around player.

Kikaha laughed so hard at this that he tore his ACL and will be out again this season.

I liked what I saw at Shrine Game......I assumed he wouldn't test that great athletically and go in round 4-5, which would have been a good place for a team to take and develop him without much pressure. Probably not the case now, but we'll see.

His 3-cone needs to be above average at those speeds. Excited to see how he puts together the rest of his day.

I hope he stays under the radar and he happens to be our pick in the 3rd, should it be Watson and Jones in rounds 1 & 2 respectively. That would be acceptable ;)

He feels "idiot proof" to me as a prospect. High floor - high ceiling

If by some chance he's there at 10 I expect him to be the pick.

Edit: Not seeing him making to 10 however.

Justin Evans has a quad injury, won't run tomorrow. Shame because I think he'd be in the 4.45 range.

And one of my guys started out alright.

@JoshNorris

Pita Taumoepenu 1st forty 4.67, 10 yd of 1.66

Evans could be a nice target for the Bills if they want a safety that can play later in the draft.

MG just Broad Jumped 10.8. Thats an Explosion score of 84.8 (Bench+Vert+Broad...70 is considered a plus explosion level)

Congratulations Cleveland, you are about to get better.

unless they trade the pick, which has been their history Edited by YoloinOhio

Agree a million percent. It seems hard to go wrong with Stanford guys since Harbaugh got there. High character, smart guys. The best and most true college football program in the country.

Plus, Thomas can talk us up to David Shaw if SM doesn't get the job done. :)

Love how much Mayock hates broadcasting the combine. His little you can tell how annoyed he gets throughout the day

Is that kinda like a porn"star" saying they hate sex?

Maybe it is just being with Rich. Something obviously annoys him about the entire thing if you listen to him.

Almost identical to Mario Williams--just as I said

Up until Rex's first year, we got the best of Mario. But could you imagine if he had Kyle Williams' motor? He would have been a HOFer. I bump into football players occasionally and measure up size wise decently with a lot of them. MARIO was a different human being. God made him to be a dominant DE.
