Gilmore is saving his body for his next contract and doesn't really care. None of these guys are watching film enough to know what the offense is doing. Yep, a lot of "throw it up and have the receiver make the catch" like most of them to Enuwa or plays where the WR fakes going deep, stops and the ball is delivered while the CB is running past him. It's a tire fire and looks just like the Saints' 2015 defense. I don't think this is true regarding pass defense, but against the run? Pathetic. His idea of "tackling" -- particularly when a bigger body (and that's all the Jets have) is coming his way -- is to throw himself to the ground in front of the runner in the style of a cut block.
