TheFunPolice
strange to do it now... what benefit is there to the team? Maybe they are going to trade with the Browns and draft the superhero guy with the exploding knee
H2o
Well, since he was only a 6th Round pick last year, this can't be much of a cost savings. There could be more than a few things going on here. It could be medical, he just may not be all there since his fiance passed, or he just didn't fit into what we are trying to do here. No matter what the reasons I wish the best for him in life and hope things only get better from here for the guy.
Bleeding Bills Blue
As a coach/GM - if you think steward/tarpley can be replaced by UDFAs (they haven't done much to prove otherwise) what is the point in keeping them?
26CornerBlitz
@buffalobills The Bills have released LB Tony Steward. Details: http://bufbills.co/0j2k4I

NickelCity
The good news? We have 8 picks. The bad news? We might need to spend 3 on linebackers. I'm actually not sure that is bad news. We basically need a whole new set of backers to run Rex's scheme effectively. Might as well bring in as many "scheme fits" as we can :/

Pete
I feel really bad for the guy. He seems like a great guy and has had a heart wrenching off season. My thoughts exactly. Best of luck to you Tony.

Beef Jerky
The good news? We have 8 picks. The bad news? We might need to spend 3 on linebackers. That sounds like good news since LBers are a plenty this year
Blokestradamus
That sounds like good news since LBers are a plenty this year Depends on how you look at the class, I guess. Not many starting calibre guys for me. Gets a bit dicey outside of my top 5 (excluding Jaylon).
Jamie Nails
Keep in mind Hughes and Wynn are now listed as LBs. It's interchangeably Manny, Brown, Brown and Jerry pending 1 or 2 round LB pick.
Forward Progress
There goes my first chance to repurpose my Kiko Alonso jersey. Maybe we will draft a LB in the first round, and that LB will choose number 50, and that LB will go on to be a perennial pro bowler and my jersey will be worth the $150 I spent on it.
