Jimmy Landis from Baylor is the pick of the longsnapper litter, IMO. Smooth elbows, strong neck snap, tight wrist work. He did 26 forearm curls at last years combine and measured a rediculous 49" leg spread.

Sandbourne's been camped out on the roster for long enough. His snapping and pitiful track record speak for themselves. Time to can the bum, and hand the #65 jersey to Jimmy Landis!

Sandbourne? What is he now, a Game of Thrones character? C'mon man.

Shaun Suisham. Pittsburgh will likely cut him, if he's healthy, I want him in a Bills uniform next year.

Big question mark with the knee surgery, but if we can bring him in for vet minimum, do it.

What are you talking about? Garrison Sanborn (yeah- that's how you spell his name) is one of the most reliable people on this roster.... He has one game where his snaps drifted right- oh yeah, it was also windy.... He snaps with reliability and busts his ass to get downfield on coverage...

I disagree about his snapping accuracy. He is all over the place when snapping to Schmidt. He does hustle, but it doesn't help when the snaps are too often not within a foot of where they should be.

The regime change isnt complete until Garrison is off this roster. Hes a loser, who breeds a losing culture. Besides, five minutes with Landis and he'll make you forget all about Sandborn. He's the future of longsnapping in the NFL.

I would have no problem keeping Sanbornne and then drafting another long snapper just for field goals. Landise looks like a stud. We have plenty of roster spots and if it means we keep a long snapper for punts (Saneborn) and a long snapper for field goals (Landiss), I say go for it.

Seem set at punter. Will a kicker be drafted? What about primary returners?

This is really funny if you consider the type of "journalism" some sites are promoting. Recently, I stumbled across this "gem" from "The Pittsburgh Sporting News." I wonder if "sporting" is a pun on joking/athletics...

Check out how the writer cites the punters' longest punt of the year as a metric for rating their effectiveness.

Maybe we could get a guy to hold the ball during windy kickoffs too. I think that is such an important spot. A specialist could really make a difference!

Yep on of the best in the league. I hear he gives great speeches too.

so you do have a sense of humours

Garrison was probably working through an injury. But he did struggle with consistent snapping.

A mazing that a team need a long snapper in this day and age. Why can t Woods do it? he gets paid enough. or someone else like IK who is useless mostly.

Earn their keep I say! specialists are sissies

Best thing about jettisoning Mario is it frees up another roster spot to add a quality backup punter or maybe more importantly a kick-off ball holder. It's probably unrealistic to think that one guy could fill both of those positions, so hopefully Waylee will work some majik and open up another spot so we can fill these two critical positions with quality players. We're loaded at LB, Safety, and QB, so maybe he could look there.

I do have to say this about Chase. He does make a mean cup of coffee.

This has turned into a bit of a joke thread and some of them are quite hilarious.

That said Sanborn did not play well last year. So many snaps were off target especially to the Punter. I would like to see the Bills target a Center in the draft that can be depth for Wood, eventually take over for him, and handle the long snapping duties. Someone like Jack Allen in the 3rd who could provide depth at a bunch of positions on the line while waiting to take over or someone later on in the draft like Graham Glasgow.

Ka'imi Fairbairn is the man. A fight to the death over kickers could be arranged, CBF.

Bring it!

I know it was earlier in his college career but not sure I want to draft a kicker who, during his first year, missed his first 3 extra points by kicking the ball into the heads of his offensive linemen

Also...

In the final game of the year, he missed a 46-yard field goal in a 37–29 loss to Nebraska in the Foster Farms Bowl. His career ended with three straight misses, including previous failed attempts of 49 yards at Utah and 47 at USC.

You know what man, the more I read up on this guy the more I like him

I would love the Bills to get this guy

He's got a powerful leg!
