For those in stands have Lawrence Welk band do rap (no talent needed, anyone can do) and for those on TV have Simpsons creators do animated show with voices / music from different shows in Superbowl history. For people who don't know, Up With People was the halftime headliner for 11 straight years - 1976-86. And every one of their performances was just as cringe-inducing as this one. I had thought Springsteen was a US only superstar-- I didn't think his message was one that would resonate--as prominent-- in other countries.
