His throws look effortless. I don't like that. I want effort.

But really, Tuel had better be watching his six.

I agree! He looked more comfortable throwing downfield to WRs in stride than I've seen in a Bills game since Losman/Evans. I'd love to see him throw to Goodwin, and Watkins.

Guiton, baby!! If true, he will bring some excitement to camp. His stats at Ohio State were awesome......He'd finish the year completing 75 of 109 passes (69% completion) for 749 yards, 14 TDs to just 2 INTs. Perhaps as impressively, he was only sacked once in the nine games he appeared in.

Yeah, baby!!

He was the back up QB at Ohio State. He could have started at a number of programs - but was behind Braxton Miller who is a dynamic playmaker, 5 star recruit and no one was going to beat him out because he is just an amazing athlete. Miller got banged up last year and this year and Guiton was VERY impressive when he played. He is a better pure passer (and maybe better all-around QB) than Miller and there was somewhat of a QB controversy here. He is a fan favorite. He is clutch, a winner, and a great attitude. He was elected as a team captain as a backup QB. He reads defenses very well and is very accurate. He holds the Ohio State school record for TD passes in a game (6). His nickname is "Smooth Jazz" (Kenny G)... every time Braxton went down we all got excited. Nothing against Braxton, but this kid was something special.

That has bigger then Tom Brady written all over it. :D

Surprised we got another QB as it was said multiple times no additional QBs would be brought in.

This is terrible news. We're not supposed to have any talent at QB. Didn't "you guys" get the memo?

[/s]

It sounds like he's a genuine talent that can be developed.

For most of his highlight vid he looks like an undersized RB playing the wildcat, looks very raw, but man that was one beautifull deep ball in his highlight vid. OTA competion for Tuel it seems.

Edit: http://www.nfldrafts...=2014&genpos=QB

Threw six touchdowns, an Ohio State record and the second-most in Big Ten single-game history, in Ohio State’s victory over Florida A&M ... Completed 24 of 34 passes for 215 yards while playing the first half only in his second career start...Connected with five different receivers on his six touchdown throws

Wow

If this young man does actually have genuine talent to go along with his apparent mental capabilities, the Bills would do well to put him on the 53-man roster, particularly if they're even remotely considering the possibility of keeping two kickers. Send Hopkins to the PS. Give Kenny a clipboard and pin him to Hackett's hip (or his sideline liaison's) and let him drink in every aspect of the offensive scheme. Assuming the physical talents among Dixon, Tuel and Guiton are relatively equal, his decision-making ability alone should earn him the No. 3 spot. Should anything happen to EJ, having a field general with a strong, confident grasp of the offense might be all we would need to win an extra game or two (think KC 2013), given our re-tooled supporting cast. If our roster is anywhere near ready to take the next step, a win or two like that might be the difference between a New Year's Locker Clean-out Day and ending the drought.

Nothing against Tuel, I like him and he was very unfairly treated by Bills fans last year …. but this guy is the kind of person you want to root for. Maybe he ends up on the practice squad.

He is at least better than Tuel. He loves the biggest moments and is always prepared to win. He will know the playbook better than Hackett. He is used to the pressure and bright lights, yet learned to embrace the role of back-up. He is one of my all-time favorite Buckeyes. He is a legend here!

How is his arm strength?

He doesn't have a cannon like Miller but he has decent arm strength and a very noticeable touch on the ball and accuracy. This is a pretty accurate write-up on him although it was done relatively early in the season (but right around the time Miller came back so should encompass the majority of his work).

He is a real student of the game. He makes others around him better. He gives it 110%. Has a high floor. He is the first man in and the last to leave. He can throw a football through a garden hose. He was the most interesting backup Qb in college football. He is the most interesting 5th quarterback in the NFL. He is Coach Kenny Guiton. He is a Buffalo Bill.
