ExiledInIllinois Posted October 13, 2011 Share Posted October 13, 2011 For some reason I was thinking about the Sabres team colors and why the heck they ever decided to change them back in the 1990's to red, black, and gray... Then back to the original. Is there any other team in major sports that use the "Cub Scout" colors of "Blue and Gold?" All I can think of is Notre Dame and maybe Navy... And they don't really use the "yellower" gold... I think they use a metallic? What other teams use this classically appealing combination? Now with the classic logo...
