  1. Ok? If you ever had a concussion, it doesn’t magically go back to normal, no matter how long you rest. Also when you get one, it is much easier to get another one. Much less 5 or so in the time frame that Morse has had. And even if he is “cleared,” there is no indication of what the long term effectS could be. it’s not an ankle injury.
  2. When we traded for Diggs, he was a good player who suddenly became Jerry Rice. It seemed like Bills fans began completely overrating him. But the guy has been nothing short of awesome. Averaging 15 yards/ game more than any season in his career. Our passing offense has gone from 201 yards (7th worst) to 278 yards/ game (4th best). Obviously, Allen deserves a ton of credit but basically the only major difference is Diggs. Additionally, Beasley is having a career season. I know only QBs can win now but the impact of Diggs on this offense seems to be MVP caliber. He also has been a great teammate and seems to be genuinely happy to be a Bill. side note, is this trade the most win-win in nfl history? We get a stud and Minnesota gets a stud replacement. We should do business again with them.
  3. Concussion don’t work like that. You don’t rest up a concussion.
  4. It has never been easier to be an nfl qb. The league is begging you to pass. That said, as a result, it’s never been harder to determine who is a legit, franchise carrying qb. take Goff. I think I like him better than most. He’s good but I don’t ever see him being great. If I was a Rams fan, I would be happy. But secretly might I rather have a rookie or a young guy with McVay and have $25 million more to work with? I think that’s a no brainer. and I’m not jinxing anything but I thought Allen got way too much credit last year. He got carried by a good defense and a crap schedule. This year, and fingers crossed, he has carried the team a bunch of the season and that’s what you look for.
  5. Maybe he just doesn’t want to put that out there? I mean a think a head is different but I remember when I played and you found out someone had an injury, you test that injury.
  6. The Falcons are the 2nd worst pass defense in the nfl. His longest pass looked like a punt. and I’ve been tough on Allen but he was a much better prospect. He has a cannon and speed. Hill is like a rb playing qb. Oh and he’s like Brady’s age. payton is a great coach and props for getting him ready to play. But he would be terrible if he has to start a full season. He’s like a much, much worse version of Lamar. and I had the stats wrong. The Falcons give up 406 yards per game and 300 yards passing. They are an awful defense.
  7. If that was your family member, would you want him to keep taking chances? it really sucks but he should think about long term. He got a nice payday. So things are more important than football. Not many but some.
  8. It’s like the Bengals we’re trying to get him killed. With their receivers and woman punching rb, they just need to load up on o linemen and they have a very good foundation.
  9. Damn. Anything heart related is always scary. It’s why I hate the snap judgements on Covid. We have no idea of the long term effect. Prayers up for a full recovery.
  10. He played alright but he’s not a starting nfl qb over the course of the season. The Saints are a great team. Nice gimmick player though. and that TE BS cost me a a fantasy game!!!
  11. Where did you hear he is the best prospect since 1982? I haven’t heard that at all. A very good prospect but Luck was better out of college. So was Peyton. I think Lawrence could be very good but I won’t be shocked at all if he is a bust on the Jets if they Sam Darnold him. That franchise doesn’t need to tank. They are trash. and I know you remember the thread I started about Qbs. Honestly, it has never been easier to put up numbers in the nfl. Rookie 6th founders are throwing for 300 yards in their first start. Herbert is on pace to throw for 5,000 yards if he played in all 16 games. The difference is in finding the truly elite guys. Fair. I think Flores has done an amazing job but his handling of qbs has been questionable. Should have played Rosen to see what he has and gotten a really high pick. Then then benching of Fitz and then to bench Tua in a touchdown game. He might be too trigger happy. the Bills made mistakes Allen’s rookie year but they never wavered in support him. That is huge.
  12. Come Dr! Not one human being on the planet would have drafted Herbert over Tua. its weird how this board is about other team’s qbs. One bad game and they suck. Yet, we preach patience with our own. I thought the Fins should stuck with Fitz because why rush Tua off a major injury? And Tua has certainly not been great but the guy has 6 tds 0 ints and 100 QB rating. As a rookie off a major injury on a team that lack big time talent on offense.
  13. He fell in the absolute perfect situation. If he was on the Jets, he would be similar to Mims. But dude is a beast and I never in a million years would have imagined he would be this good. He’s awesome. do you put Tre on him?
  14. So this is where fans have a disconnect. The Bills and this regime have raised the bar. The expectations should be higher. Last Sunday, it was a win but it was a disappointing win. It would have be nice to destroy a banged up and bad NE team. But they did win and know have a chance to beat a legit good team (with a very suspect defense). That said, if we did lose a guy 38-35, I actually would feel better about it than the NE game. But I’m a weirdo.
  15. Haha, you’re the one crying because I’m not praising his NE game. allen has progressed a ton. He wasn’t good last Sunday. Hopefully he will play like he did in the first 4 games against Seattle. You’re the one literally crying. I’m as cool as a fan. Before the year, if healthy, I thought Newton was the better qb. Allen has been better than him so props to Allen and I’ve changed my opinion. It’s weird. You don’t have to blindly have your mind set on something and can change you mind with more information.
  16. You’re right. Let me know when he wins MVP (we’re counting 4 game MVPs, right?) and goes to the SB. its laughable how sensitive you are. I had doubts about Allen and he has become such a better qb and is currently a better qb than Newton. Why that makes some are you catty is weird. But keep up the good fight. You’re a hero.
  17. They start threads about him when he does bad in a pro bowl drill (and then he wins MVP in the game). I totally agree he needs to be better as a passer but he has a garbage crew of receivers around him. He the guy is still winning a lot of games. I don’t think it’s racist but I don’t remember a guy his age and who’s been as successful as he is catching as much flack as he has. Bill Polian said he should switch positions.
  18. Dawkins heard I’m his Eskimo brother and it motivated him. Proud of my little bro.
  19. This board has a hard on to put Lamar down. It’s really strange. He has arguably the worst group of receivers in the nfl. He definitely has his flaws but it’s really, really strange why folks here seem to root for him to fail.
  20. Stop. That was a bad game for Allen. He has improved so much this year (more than I ever expected) but to try and say that was anything more than a meh game is so disingenuous. That was a JV Pats defense without like 5 starters including the DPOY. we won but it would be nice if some fans could be objective. The Bills lose that game to any non bad team. At this point of his career, it’s actually insulting to say that wasn’t a bad game. He has set the bar much higher so let’s stop treating him like he is still a rookie from Wyoming.
  21. It was hilarious and stupid at the same time. Football fights are so dumb but apparently that guy on the Saints makes people want to punch him. This times a million. That guy on the bears had laughable punches. Gronk, all the 260 lbs on him, dropped an elbow on a guys head and got a game. Seems like some double standards. and I still can’t get over how soft the Bills were after that.
  22. What is the point of this? To tear down a 23 year old MVP, Heisman winner, who is 24-5 as a starter (qb win-loss record is overrated but still), who has a 54 td to 13 int ratio, in addition to 2,300 yards rushing and 13 tds? seriously, you just come across as a hater and it’s a bad look. And it really serves no purpose.
  23. If the Bills don’t win this game, they need to burn down the stadium. We are playing the NE Jets.
  24. I actually thought the Bills had a team good enough to beat Brady. The goal is win the division so who cares ultimately. but a win against NE won’t be nearly as special. It’s like beating the Jets at this point. Still counts but I just wanted to see a sad Edelman and Brady.
  25. Another example would be the Rams. I actually like Goff more than most. But I do I think the Rams would be better served drafting a guy and plugging him into McVay’s system than paying Goff $30 million? Absolute no brainer. I will say every thing this year should be taken with a grain of salt because it’s such a different offseason.
