I think the Bills were the hottest team in nfl at the time and could have been dangerous if they got in. They were crushing teams but I remember it being a lot of bad ones though. But that is a good call. also, some of those Steelers backups were pretty good (Willie Parker, James Harrison). That’s a good one. Bills 6.5 favorites and beat them in the regular season and were playing the backup. At least, that was a SB Giants team though. I was really young for that team but how did the 88 team matchup with the SB teams?

I know there have been plenty of painful ones but when the Bills have been legit good? I would argue that if losing to the sad sack of 💩 from New Jersey might be the answer. A -110 point differential when the next lowest team is -56 and possibly have a triplet of Joe Flacco, Frank Gore, and Perriman coaches by that weirdo. I never in a million years thought the d would be this bad under SM. But lack of pass rusher has been a huge issue. Hughes is so overrated. Murphy sucks. Oliver has been a disappointment. additionally, I think the defense did get a bit inflated because they played a ton of garbage qbs last year.

I agree fans are insane in their overreactions after games but it goes both ways too. Allen was a top 4 qb after 4 games. I think the truth is in the middle. This is a good but not yet great team and has some flaws.

If he has any pride in his career, he would have his scent reaching out to the Bills and give a bunch of BS about fully believing in the process. He could earn one nice final paycheck if he could play the way he was capable of

I’m sorry but this is BS. I think Allen has improved a ton and he is far down of my list of worries at this point. But take a look at Darnold’s weapons? How about Rodgers besides one good receiver? What about Miami? Are the Rams weapons better? 49ers? allen is in a very good situation right now and the first 4 games of the season, he killed it. He hit a bump but please stop making excuses. It’s the most confident I’ve been in him but no more excuses.

At first, I though SM was a dime a dozen defensive coach and wanted an offensive guy. And while he has his flaws (challenges, offensive decisions before their year), he is a damn good coach and we’re lucky to have him.

I think this is stupid. The Fins are playing better than what most people thought and why rush Tua after coming back from a major injury? I know he won’t, but if I was Fitz, I’d ask to be traded. It’s be hard to find a starting job but if I was a playoff team, I’d take Fitz in a second. He’s a borderline top 20 qb and that would be awesome insurance.

I don’t know about that. I think Bell is pretty fresh and played for the worse offensive situation in their entire league. I can see him have a good impact for them. McCoy was our offense for years and had dead legs. Bell had barely played in 3 years.
