Will other teams make draft mistakes because of Josh?
C.Biscuit97 replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I still think the prospect with Allen’s profile in college will fail far majority of the time. The Bills’ front office, to their extreme credit, found a 🦄 that is somehow a better quarterback in the NFL than he was at Wyoming. I have never been happier to have my doubts proven wrong. -
Oh for sure. It sound delusional last year but clearly this year, Allen is a better player. Yeah man, I have no real disagreement with any of this. Allen made me a believer this year. It doesn’t matter but he answer every doubt I had about him minus the playoffs. And i can’t say it enough but his attitude is what really stands out. He literally probably doesn’t care about this at all.

Yeah, I agree. But in this board, we had people trashing Jackson after winning the MVP here while praising Allen. Now, and I try to stay in the moment, Allen is a better overall qb than Jackson. But that wasn’t the case last year. but as a “critic” (just didn’t think he was a good enough passer his first 2 years and he wasn’t), I really have no idea how you can criticize him as a player. He has become a legit stud.

Cowherd doesn’t believe a word he says. He is like a less annoying skip Bayless. but again, when fans would say the media hates Buffalo, it was never true. When you win, the media will like you.
-
I did say that Allen was different because he was heavily criticized. I do generally agree with you. But one of the best thing about some fans is they will defend their team to the death. But some take it way to personal. Through 2 years, Allen wasn’t that great. Now, he is an outright stud and if someone is criticizing at this point, they are an idiot. And the whole American flag is obnoxious. Sadly, it has been a political symbol which is such a joke. There are some people that to proven how much of a “patriot” they are. I am willing to bet that an overwhelming majority of people on twitter who have American flags next to their name tend to lean a certain way politically. It’s like the pictures of old dudes with sunglasses in their car. Or rainbow flags. Or pronouns. People are weirdly cult like on twitter. but yes, our country has become dumb enough where 🇺🇸 has come political. We are so dumb.

Bills will be a tough ticket next year

I mean it’s a year without fans and one of the best fanbases who supported a ton of garbage. It was going to be a tough ticket anyways. -
New petition to change Allen Street to Josh Allen Street
C.Biscuit97 replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With all due respect, this is super corny. Maybe if he goes down as an all time great for us, sure. -
Clay Travis is a grifter. He’s a mediocre at best sports guy with terrible takes (see his Covid and sports bets) who hated on ESPN for being too political. Now he does the same thing but on th other side of the aisle. At first I thought the guy was a clown but I always respect a guy who finds an easy to manipulate base and he just feeds them meat to get them all fired up. He starts twitter fights with people who are way more popular than him and hope they respond so he can get his name out there. I would bet he doesn’t believe half of what he says. It’s kinda funny.

This whole thing is embarrassing. Reading some of the tweets, some idiot Bills fans just proved him right on the racist stuff. I wish more fans would call out Those idiots. I think the original point is that for a while a guy who plays like Allen, If black, would be questioned about his long term ability to play quarterback. That the white guy with questionable production against not great college competition while the Heisman trophy winning qb falls and gets talked about moving positions. And through 2 years there was some truth in that. A counter I would say in regards to Allen is he was a very criticized player. as someone who has been skeptical of Allen through 2 years, IMO, there is absolutely nothing to question him about except maybe seeing how he does in the playoffs. Dude has answer every question I have had about him and exceed as a player more than I ever imagine. It doesn’t matter but I’m as proud of him as any player I have watched. And the thing I really appreciate it is he didn’t get sensitive about it. I never got the need for fans to get so angry at people’s opinions. I’m just throughly enjoying the season and see nothing negative about it. But we do have some loser fans who take everything person and they make us look bad. Right now, Foxworth and Jones have been proven wrong on Allen. That’s all that matters. But there are those losers who say embarrassing things that we should never have associated with our fanbase. Obviously, it’s minority of idiots but I’d like to think we call out those losers. Some fans get more mad s our this that Allen, who is laughing about it. It’s weird. But don’t make us all look bad.

The josh haters are out in force today
C.Biscuit97 replied to Sharky7337's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Clay Travis has started the right wing barstool sports. He basically says the exact opposite of what everyone says ESPN does. I never care what the media thinks. Do people honestly think Skip Bayless is that much of a moron (I mean he might be)? But it’s his gimmick. It’s no different than what people do on CNN or Fox News or a million other places. None of these people will ever admit when they are wrong about something. They get fans all fired up and they get so mad at the people saying the stuff. And they just laugh and make money after it. -
PFF takes analytics to a new level

It’s so weird how so many of you hate PFF yet constantly make threads about it. -

I actually think there original point was that in his first 2 years, if Josh was black, more would have been talked about him just being an athlete and not a good enough quarterback. That he got over drafted over much more productive college players in better conferences. (Lamar). And there was truth to that and after 2 years, it was true. now, Allen turned into a real deal qb so it’s really hard to doubt him anymore. Thank god no white people ever have an platforms with racist views! Bill Polian said the Heisman trophy winner should switch positions and he won a MVP at qb in 2 years. fun fact, people of all races can have dumb views. Also true is people can evolve in their opinion. I didn’t think Allen was good enough last year and with a better qb, like Watson, we could a worst made the AFC title game. This year, Allen is the strength of the team and there is not a bad thing to say about him. -

That’s what’s so weird. During the Monday night game, Allen even said he need to improve on things form his first 2 years. He was definitely a big question mark for us. Now, because he didn’t whine about getting treated unfair, he improved more than any qb I can remember in recent memory. He turned doubters (myself included) into believers. thank god he didn’t spend his team worrying about what pointless media people were saying. Dude just worked so salute to him. He’s been awesome and we’re lucky to have him. -
Per ESPN Get Up: Bills best bet to knock off KC?

Josh Allen became our first legit franchise qb in forever. -
Love the dude. Speculation that it could have been Covid related. It’s crazy that a virus could take out one of the great movie bullies ever. Rest In Peace.

Mike Tomlin over or underrated
C.Biscuit97 replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s also hilarious how overrated Cowher. Tomlin is better than Cowher in every category and they have the same amount of Sb wins. Yet somehow he is a superior coach to Tomlin? That makes no sense. I heard a sports talk dork say the Jets should hire Cowher and it was hilarious. -
They are also catching the Pitt defense at a good time too. They are losing some big time players. Josh Will be a star nationally with a good game.

Bills sign Brandon Beane to contract extension!!!
C.Biscuit97 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Never got the idea of rushing his extension like he was going to leave or something. I wanted to see a team that was a legit contender and see the development of Allen. Well, they killed it this year and it’s a well deserved extension. Props to Beane. -
I really don’t mean this as a negative but I think it shows growth in the Front office. Honestly, they kinda sucked at drafted receivers. So they went the free agent route and signed established vets. I mean this genuinely, that it is very smart to know what your weaknesses are. And then when you draft a guy like Davis, you don’t have to force him into a role and he can contribute naturally. they went from drafting guys like Zay Jones and trading for Benjamin to having a top 5 group. Salute.

Those people are morons. if McDermitt ends up with Tomlin’s resume, we build him a statue, he’s a HOFer, and the greatest coach we ever had. We won’t be nit picking him. He would just be a great coach.
