It’s weird. I think most people are saying Allen is a top 5 qb yet that isn’t good enough for some. They need to tear down any rival! Crazy thought: Allen, Watson, Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady are all really, really good qbs!

Nope. He’s wasn’t that good his first 2 years and got carried by a good/ great defense. He improved more than any player I’ve seen this year and I give him all the credit in the world. it’s wild but when I get more information, I switch my opinion on things. Since Allen is a top 5 qb, there will not be one ounce of criticism from me about him. I also think criticizing other top 5 qbs is strange too but you do you and have a great weekend. ✌️

Haha, I couldn’t care at all. But having multiple threads about the qb who beat us seems excessive. If KC fans did this after Allen lost a super bowl, I would think they were losers. So would most people here. Mahomes is the best qb in the NFL and Allen made himself part of the conversation. Why are trying to tear Mahomes and Watson down? But you do you. I’m all about positivity. ✌️ It was the worst game of Mahomes’ career and the first time he lost by more than double digits. In the super bowl. With a bunch of linemen out. He wasn’t the reason they lost. if this is happening all next year, then you start questioning him. But the great ones get more of a pass than Mitchell Tribusky.

He was terrible as a rookie and played with the number 2 defense. do you honestly believe if Watson had the number 2 defense, he wins 4 games? Or if Beane was putting together the team instead of O’Brien? They traded away the best receiver in football for a washed up rb while we used a 1st for Diggs? You do realize football is a team game right? Brees would be on the number 1 offense and have 7 wins. Does that mean he was the reason that team didn’t win? Because that’s absolutely insane.

Really? I mean pouncey is a good center but they still have a ton of talent. Obviously it depends what Big Ben is like but a lot of their collapse was because they had some really bad injuries. They are still a good team.

I Meant that the cost of living of SF compared to Buffalo. Like he’s well off but SF took a huge chuck of that money. Completely superficial take. Well there are a lot of pretty girls in Buffalo, if you are in the 5-7 range, you should never leave Buffalo for a bigger market. Conversely, girls in those range in bigger markets should move to Buffalo and they can dominate. Also if you’re an athlete’s wife, you should be very happy to be in Buffalo. Like Allen’s girl is cute but she should lock him down and make sure he never leaves Buffalo until his career is done. The groupie sharks in Miami and LA would be circling the chum. Again this is stupid because they are both top 5 qbs. But let’s not make up things here. 2020 - Houston’s defense was 3rd worst in yards (416.8) and gave up 29 points/ game. Watson accounted for 5200 (lost yards on sacks) yards of their 6004 total yards with the second worst running attack in the nfl. 2018 - Buffalo averaged 298.6 yards per game, 16.8 points/ game, had the 9th best running attack, and had the 2nd best defense in terms of yards and gave up 23.4 points/ game. This is crazy but if Watson had the 9th best running attack and the 2nd best defense this year, I think they win more than 4 games. Why people are bashing Watson is really strange. Both him and Allen are awesome and Watson is off to one of the best career starts of any qb in history.

Dude is one of those guys who wears shorts that show his quads. I don’t when guys showing quad became a thing but it sucks. The exact opposite of when women starting wearing yoga pants because they feel so good. 😉

I mean I love Buffalo but I get it if you’re not from here and it’s us vs SF, nit many would chose us. But how much money did she cost him? Like a 1/3 of his contract??? I don’t really pay attention to o line play but I love his attitude and toughness. How is he as an pass/ run blocker?

I wonder what he wants because it is interesting. He is aging very badly though. But you can never have enough pass rushers. Still would keep looking for more even if we got him.

If you asked before the season, it was a no brained who was better. But then Allen became the most improved player I have ever seen. I do agree it’s insane how we try to constantly try to compare and knock players. I could have never imagined that Watson and now Allen are both top 5 qbs, who both have the ability to win a super bowl on the right teams. it’s really weird that some fans have to knock other qbs to build up Allen. Allen is now good enough where he doesn’t need that. Watson is awesome in his own right. Yeah, this isn’t true at all.

1 - I would love to see a stud running back on this offense 2 - Alabama skills players, minus wrs, make me nervous because who couldn’t put up numbers in that offense with all that talent 3 - after spending 2 3rds in back to back year on rbs, it seems insane to invest a 1st in one. Especially when history shows a low round or Udfa might be just as good, 4 - with Allen and the receivers, for the first time in forever, we won’t have teams stacking the box daring us to throw. I think we just need a breakaway threat and they can be found many places besides the 1st round. like I won’t hate it because he was a beast in college but I feel like the pick could be used somewhere else.

Brady isn’t close to the most talented qb out there. It was hardly dominate. But at some point, it’s more than just a coincidence. He is the Patriot/ Buc way. He is the standard and evaluates franchises. Guys can’t half ass if with Brady. I see a lot of that in Allen.

True but this would be a much bigger discussion. It’s why some people what things like the Rooney rule (it is flawed and nepotism is probably the bigger issue). I was raised by a single mom who did everything for my brother and I. But when I went to Canisius, I was one of the poorer kids in the school. It was hard watching the kids with the most money, who got worse grades and in more trouble, just be fine because they had daddy to bail them out. Things worked out for me but I do think this recycling of coaches hurts the product. Think about the wildcard and offenses now. They could have been in the league well before they became popular but you have the same recycled coaches who are afraid to try things new. like why should Belichick’s weirdo son get a shot than a guy who has proven himself at other levels? I think that does hurt the product a bit. True and but couldn’t there be other bloodlines out there who just haven’t been given a chance? todd Haley was a golfer at 3 colleges. Never played or coach football at any level. Daddy was in the Steelers got him a job. and yes, I’m totally jealous! Though I would never want to coach. That sucks.
