Colin Cowherd's QB Dominoes for the 2021 Off-Season
C.Biscuit97 replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No one is more consistently confident and so wrong like Cowherd. I used to hate him but I like his daughter so I can tolerate him. But he just talks out of his Butt most times. I believe he had the Jets winning the SB after they drafted Darnold. -
Agree with most of this but I definitely think he’s an upgrade over Rivers. They are a SB contender. And Pittman is going to be a problem. That’s a good team there.

1 - that’s why Allen needs to follow up with a great year. It does sound like Wentz wasn’t that popular in the lockerroom and that’s nit the case for Allen. 2 - foles was amazing in the playoffs but Wentz had better numbers across the board than Foles in the regular season. What Foles did was amazing but Wentz was awesome that year and the Eagles were awesome with him. Can’t really knock him for getting hurt.

I mean what was Farve before GB? Again to say that they will be Farve (who is losing his mind now) is crazy. But both of them were much more proven than Farve at this point. I think young was kinda like Darnold in which people thought he was talented but just in an awful situation. But good examples. And I don’t think he’s Great but you could say Tannehill too. Don’t get married if you’re rich.
-
See that’s nit really true. They were 11-2 when Wentz got hurt and he was a MVP candidate. I think people overlook that. I do think once Foles won the SB, it was really hard for Wentz to win over that lockerroom.

Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston

You don’t think Flores looks like one of the best coaches in the NFL? What Miami has done in 2 years is kinda amazing. It’s wild but this garbage division might become really good again and the Pats might be the worst team in it. Wild times. -

As someone who graduated with a political science degree, stop him haha. -
Wentz went from completely overrated, to underrated, to now completely trashed. I don’t think he is some top 5 qb like some were saying early in his career. But is he better than Rivers and going to play behind maybe the best o line in the nfl with much better weapons than he had in Philly? Yup. The Colts are going to be really tough again. and Philly did the best they could on a dude who’s value completely plummeted this year. Good trade for both teams. And in one of the worst situations of any qb in the nfl. He needs to cut out the turnovers though. Alex Smith.

Is this serious? https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/mar/22/im-not-a-fan-trumps-grudge-against-john-mccain-continues-even-in-death the problem with this country is we have a bunch of mindless zombie. People don’t hate guys like Trump (who was a Democrat) or Rush because they are conservative. They hate them because they have built their careers trying to be bullies (like either of those slobs could fight), hypocrites (leading the war on drugs while be being a pill popper), and mocking/ belittling people (how guys who look like that can make fun of anyone is laughable). Then they get simple minded people to follow them and believe all the stupid stuff they say. "I've never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure”

I’d bet this. What are the terms? Newton was really bad but it wasn’t too long people were saying Brady was washed up in NE. That is a bottom 3 offensive group. and even in an epic bad year, Newton’s numbers across the board are better than Barkley’s career numbers. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/N/NewtCa00.htm https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BarkMa00.htm -
So devastating!!! Such a great guy and nit a hypocrite at all. I hope he really is a Christian because he will have a lot to answer for. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/rush-limbaugh-presidential-medal-of-freedom-state-of-the-union-outrageous-quotes/ but like Trump, I never get too mad at the idiot making money saying stupid stuff. I worry about the idiots who blindly follow him and believe his stupidity. Imagine being sad that this “man” is gone. He built an “empire” on racism, sexist, and homophobia.

Chase Daniel made $5 million this year. Ngakoue is better, younger, and has a ton less wear and tear than Watt at this point. -

Awful excuse. I played through college doing both (and more 😉). But looking back, no party was worth sacrificing a game. You realize it when you get older. I’m sure a lot of the Super Bowl Bills players have a lot of regrets. The funniest thing is the nfl uses a lot of formations/ plays that high schools use now. The terminology is crazy but some of them are very simple concepts. It’s why it’s never been easier to be a nfl qb. A lot of these guys have been running the same offense for almost 8 years before they take a nfl snap. -

That was from last year. It’s weird but people act like Allen played like this his whole career. Going forward if someone makes a similar comment, it looks dumb. But things change every year in the NFL. Wentz was talked about as a top 5 qb and mvp candidate 2 years ago. -
For some reason, this hit me really hard. One of my best friends was found in a similar way, around the same age. He was one of the most underrated receivers and sounds like a really good guy. Check out the people you care about because you never know. Prayers to his family. 😢 Such a classy post. Thanks for sharing it.

Allen had a top 5 season this year. He was amazing and carried his team. He wasn’t very good his first 2 years. Hopefully, this is the start of him consistent being an elite qb. watson is off to one of the best starts in nfl history and has consistently carried his team. He’s been a top 5 qb for the last 3 years. this is the soccer mom part of the board that is really weird. I was a “hater” of Allen because I didn’t think the guy who averaged less than 200 yards passing/ game and completed under 60% of his passes wasn’t good enough. Guess what? He went up levels I couldn’t have imagined and I’m wowed by the dude. He gets all the props in the world. but some of you are the most sensitive people are earth. Watson isn’t being traded for Allen but to try and tear down a guy who has been as good as Watson to start his career just makes you look like haters. Let it go. Allen is really good and so is Watson. Who is tearing down Allen? Also if you switched Allen and Watson, we would laugh at saying the guy who had one really good season was as good as the guy who has been consistently good since his rookie year? again, they are both really good qbs. But it’s weird how some fans can’t be objective. Also who is ahead of Watson on your list? Because I think it’s laughable to suggest he’s not a top 5 qb.

Haason Reddick - free agent I'd love

Or the highly drafted player who was playing out of position finally hit his stride and is ready to live up to his draft status, like Jerry Hughes.
