Cam Newton, NFL MVP. Does any team want him 2021?

He’s better than our current backup qb. -
How Allen will Work to become a better QB
C.Biscuit97 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I keep saying it but the improvement Allen made this year simply blows my mind. It’s like Danny Devito disappeared for a few months and then reappeared as the sexiest dude in the world. -
I think the thought is McVay basically tells Goff what to do and he just does half reads. He is limited in his physical tools. But the guy was a number 1 overall pick and has a better resume than a lot of guys at similar stages of their career. Also, he gets to play in a dome for at least 9 games.

I think the hate has gone way too far on Goff. I don’t think he’s great but they won a lot of games and went to a SB. I think Stafford is better but do I think they are that much better with him than Goff? Not really. it’s weird to say it but Detroit made an awesome trade for a player who didn’t want to be there. They test drive Goff for a season and set up their future really well.

Terrible Flacco this year: 80.6 qb on the crappy Jets. Trust me, I’m not arguing he’s good. I just think Barkley (really nice guy) is really really bad and barely nfl caliber. this is a first world problem and it’s nice to have. But I would be terrified if he had to play. Those other guys aren’t great but they are better than Barkley. it’s weird that in every other position you try to get the best possible players. But at qb, you get the non threatening, nice, get along with the starter guy regardless of ability. It’s amazing how many terrible guys stay in the nfl. I mean good for them I guess.

Winston dalton Fitz brisett Newton Tribusky Joe Flacco because the Bills are legit SB contenders and have awesome receivers, they can get a guy for less with the chance to be on a SB contender and potentially get some starts on a SB caliber roster that could could led to a starting job the following season.

Cam Newton, NFL MVP. Does any team want him 2021?
C.Biscuit97 replied to Nihilarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fun fact. Broken down Cam’s qb rating 82.9 this year. Matt Barkley’s career qb rating 66.6 (😈)!!!! As a qb, Barkley best characteristic is he’s a really nice guy. cam ain’t cam anymore but as a backup, he’s not that bad if his shoulder isn’t completely shot (it may be). NE has dog 💩 offensive talent and Cam seemed to be good in the lockerroom. And it’s nit really so much about Cam as it is about Barkley. I trust the guy who has won 75 games more than the guy who, super nice guy, has won 2. -
Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston
C.Biscuit97 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I get your point and you’re generally right. But the Texans are a dog 💩 organization and destroyed themselves. Watson is a top 5 and has the best season of his career after they traded at the time the best receiver in the nfl for a broken rb. Texans fans think he should get traded. It would be awful PR to force him to hold for a team that a lot of players think is a joke anyways. Plus Watson has been a great guy off the field. So while they technically have leverage, it will be an awful look for a horrible franchise. as Bills fans, this couldn’t work out any better. A team with a top 5 qb and a great roster let Bill O’Brien destroy it. Good work. -
I love, love Ertz. A couple of years ago, he would be exactly what this offense needed. But he looked like a different player last year. It could just be injuries and he will bounce back. But guys fall apart so quick in football. It makes me nervous. but I won’t complain for a second if we kicked the tires on him.

2019 - Allen wasn’t good enough and this team was carried by its defense. 2020 - Allen did everything I wanted to see in franchise qb. Won games with his arm. Came back and won games when the defense struggled instead of 14-7. He shown the most improvement of almost any athlete I’ve ever seen in any sport. I had very real doubts on Allen and would on the next similar prospect. I truly believe Allen is a complete unicorn and McBeane are absolute geniuses for finding him. I’m beyond thrilled that he is my team’s qb. Great leader and guy who became a beast this year. He has all my respect and I will not spent a second criticizing him. The Buffalo Bills have a legit franchise quarterback. Only in a pandemic!!!

RD 2, Pick 54: DE AJ Epenesa, University of Iowa

Dude looked so slim out there. Definitely need to be on Buffalo “diet” this off-season. -
Ok John. The way some fans act like Whaley was a total disaster is just a flat out lie. We went 9-7 with EJ/ and that kitty cat Orton. They beat Rodgers with no offensive tds and end Manning’s td streak. They later had a top 10 scoring offense with Tyrod Taylor. no one is saying Whaley is great. But it was a loser franchise and he averaged 8 wins a year while he was here. Far from terrible. He never got the qb like MCBeane did (total credit to them) and he got fired, but if he’s not qualified to talk about football, 99.9% of this board isn’t. They went 9-7 with Orton and EJ. Their receivers were non broken Sammy, Woods, Hogan, and Goodwin. They had 4 double digits sack guys and the number 2 defense. You don’t like Whaley but you’re a liar if that wasn’t a borderline great team with a good qb. of course you’re the same guy who used to trash Andy Reid all the time. Funny, you still doing that of a sudden. 🤔

So sensitive so of you 1 - he’s not wrong. Personally, I was so happy with everything this season, it’s really hard to criticize anything. I think KC was going to win no matter what we did. But Whaley isn’t wrong. 2 - if a former NFL GM isn’t allowed to voice his opinion, why can fans? It’s weird that some fans get upset about this. I know it’s crazy but Whaley might know more about football than most of you. 3 - it’s such BS how Whaley gets remembered. This year’s Josh Allen on some of the teams he put together were SB contenders too. He loaded us up with some legit rosters but ultimately, he couldn’t find a qb and that’s why he got fired. But isn’t close to as bad as some of you want him to be.

Was that our easiest playoff loss to take?
C.Biscuit97 replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
KC was on cruise control all year. KC plays to the level of their competition. We brought out the best in them. the good news is we are right there with them. A few tweaks (maybe get the game at home) and who knows. Great, great season. -
Theory on why Allen struggles against KC
C.Biscuit97 replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Completely disagree and it’s crazy to think like that. The Packers are one of the most popular teams in the entire nfl. The Bills were the darlings of the postseason and would have been hugely popular. Buffalo GB would have been a super popular football. we lost to a slightly better team. It sucks but I don’t understand conspiracy people. What a terrible way to live. -
Thank you Buffalo Bills

Brady doesn’t shake hands with qbs after he loses. Mike Evans constantly gets into fights. Jansen is always throwing late hits. And how can you forget about wonderful SuH? TB has just as many poor character as the Chiefs do. It’s football.
