Nate Peterman on another team would have thrown 10 ints in that game. -
The Sporting News looks back at 2018 QB class

Well said. We can debate whether Allen would be successful on another team. But Buffalo weirdly has become a great place for a qb to develop. I think any of those guys would have been been much better players in Buffalo (except Lamar because he is doing alright where he is). -
2 of them did so in a bubble. Baseball is going to a bubble now and had the Cardinals play 53 games in 44 days. im not going to freak out but football has the biggest rosters and most people connect to a team. It is by far the most riskiest to keep virus free. So while it’s not freak out fine, it’s definitely very concerning.

Sam Darnold - AC joint sprain in throwing shoulder

Good job Jets. Way to ruin a QB. I know they are a “rival” but it is complete garbage what they have done to Darnold. Would any player on their offense play on our team? What a garbage franchise. -
Will Carr follow Fitz in targeting Levi Wallace?

I think nE was doubling his short check down throws and forcing him to throw the ball down the field. He hates throwing down the field. He is like the best version of Trent Edwards. -

Damn, some of you are so sensitive. And livin on a prayer is an all time drunk bar song. -
1 - draft “expert” is a stupid term anyways. They miss all the time on players, especially qbs. Nfl teams miss all the time as well. If you fired any of these guys after their misses, none of them would exist. 2 - Allen was pretty much a consensus 1st round pick while not exactly dominating in college. So they definitely believed in his skill set/ potential over production. 3 - speaking for myself, Allen is the type of prospect that rarely makes it. Lack of production, especially at the level he played on and his completion %, have been major red flags for nfl success. Again, it’s a huge guessing game with Qbs anyways but guys with Allen’s resume normally don’t amount to anything. He is the exception rather than the norm. so I don’t think anyone really missed. The guy the first couple of years was what he was hyped up to be. A ton of potential but with some questionable plays/ decision making. The Bills have done a great job developing around him and the guy worked his butt off, didn’t cry about his lack of respect like some fans do here, and kept improving. All the credit goes to him. I think as others have said, his heart might be his biggest strength. Even with my doubts about him based on every other prospect like him, I loved everything about his character and work ethic. He is a natural leader and has become a much better player in the nfl than he was in the MWC, which is absolutely insane. Some fans are so angry and want everyone to apologize for doubting the guy. But it was very valid. But if he keeps progressing and keeps this up, let’s just all the credit to Allen and the Bills. They saw something special in this guy and will 99% of guys like him fail, he is the exception to the rule and i would evaluate the next prospect like him. Exactly the same. Allen simply might be special and I’m extremely happy to be wrong in what he could be.

Dan Le Batard FINALLY Eats Crow on Josh Allen
C.Biscuit97 replied to mykidsdad's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who cares? I know it’s hard to believe but Allen wasn’t that great last year and the offense was the weak point of the team. This year, it’s the strength and people are correctly praising him. and I totally believe it’s legit but doing victory laps after 3 games seems a little early. I swear we have been down this road so many times. I think Allen is different but it’s a long season. -
Is this going to be an every week thing? Because this will look much different at the end of the season.

Wait a second. When Allen is playing lights out, people think he is a better player than when he was a 58% passer? No way! allen and the offense was the weak point of the team last year. This year, he’s the strength. I don’t know why some of you are so sensitive about this. He is playing great, way better than he has ever shown on Any level of football. Salute him but some of you act like it was some nation wide conspiracy to trash him. its 3 games but Allen has improved more than any qb I can ever remember. Its absolutely freaky and he deserves all the credit in the world. He was definitely a strength in Dallas but for Pittsburgh, he wasn’t that good and Duck/ our defense is the reason we won that game. this year is so much different than anything he has shown in the past. He was part of the ride in the past and now he is the driver. -
What a petty thread. Why does this board have a hard on for putting down a 23 year old MVP? I know this is crazy but you can be thrilled with Allen and not have to put another player down. A few things. 1 - Jackson was awful Monday. It seems if you get the lead on the Ravens, it’s a struggle for them to come back. He needs to prove he can do that. 2 - his receivers suck besides Brown 3 - if Josh Allen wins the MVP this year and then in game 3 loses to the SB champs with a generational qb, if someone started a thread called the Josh Allen era is over, we’d think they were a loser right? What is the point of this? without a doubt, Allen has been the better qb. So why not be happy that through 3 games, our guy is outperforming last years MVP rather than knock Jackson down? Seems petty and bad mojo.
