Fun fact: Dolphins are mammals. They are also rapists. Well, you’re wrong but it’s ok.

Kyler Murray ran the ball 13 times, only got hit once
C.Biscuit97 replied to Penfield45's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What? There literally isn’t one shred of fact in this post. also why did you compare Murray to Taylor? This is just a bad post all around. This board is like politics. It’s ok to understand there are currently qbs that are better than Allen but still hope he can progress to a top level. But it seems like a Lot of members don’t watch other teams besides the Bills. Allen is a better qb than Dak because they played that one game. It’s awful logic. -
He completed 56% of his passes and has completed 56% through 2 years in the nfl. That’s subpar for a NFL qb. is reporting facts pushing an agenda? I know all you to tell is fake news to discredit the media but those were facts. now reporting Allen is Inaccurate so far this year is fake news. So by your weird logic, we shouldn’t be giving Allen any credit either. Allen owns Miami

Stop. Gunner is one of the most level headed, best posters on this board. I will say it was strong take but he has given him credit when he deserves it but let’s not pretend like Allen is a top 10 qb yet. im sure if people cared, there are plenty of things you were terribly wrong on. I will admit one of my extremely rare mistakes is that I didn’t think Gase was an awful coach. I was completely wrong on that. It’s a weird feeling to be wrong. 😞

1 - you know Rodgers didn’t play his first 3 years right? Lamar won a mvp in his 2nd season. 2 - Rodgers is a top 5 qb ever 3 - how do you know Lamar won’t be good in another system? He has been good everywhere. Seems disingenuous to say he won’t. why is is so hard for Bills fans to give him credit for being really good?

This is such hindsight. They traded their pro bowl LT. they traded a guy who was in the conversation for defensive player of the year. They traded their other starting receiver. They traded their starting Rb. Fitz was their leading rusher last year with 243 yards! Parker was huge bust before last year. Their TE was a 3rd round rookie. plenty of people thought it was one of the worst opening day rosters ever. They were giving away talent.

Youse ready for part deuce?

Jets fans hate their team more than Bills fans hate the Jets. They might be the most miserable franchise in the nfl right now. I think they are the same person. -
Yeah, they were one of the worst rosters in nfl history to start the year but they were feisty with Fitz. I think they are headed in the right direction unfortunately and if Tua is healthy, they will be a really tough team. but currently, there are still one of their worst rosters in the nfl. This should be a comfortable victory.

The main difference in the pass game Sunday.

The Jets being hot 💩 helps too. They should shred Miami too. Real tests will be starting in week 3. -
I think you need to factor in the opponent for best game. The Jets looked like the worst team in the nfl. They were so dumb and gave us multiple 1st downs on 3rd down. They are trash. so if Allen has like 250, 1 td and 0 ints against Seattle, that would be a better game to me than beating up on New Jersey, Eh, you can say that for every qb though. I do agree that 300 yards can be overrated but averaging under 200 yards passing/ game for a year is just bad.

Yeah, I would argue that the Bills are actually media darlings. Who roots against the Bills in the national media? I think we are kinda beloved but we have sucked for a lot of years. What are they supposed to say? also, if we do become consistently good, people are going to start hating the Bulls mafia haha. It’s cute when they are non threatening.

Well the Bills dreams have started
C.Biscuit97 replied to Bills fan since 87's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For some reason, I had a dream the Bills picked me with the number 11th pick to play QB. When they called me to tell me they were picking me (I wasn’t at the draft because why would I be picked), I told them thank you but I’ve never played qb on any level and I think I would be really bad at playing quarterback in the nfl. They said it was ok and they saw my potential. I normally have way cooler dreams -

Gotta say I didn’t believe in that little guy but he’s a baller. His baseball background helps with this too. also, while Allen might not get destroyed in hits all the time, they add up. It’s what happened to Cam and Big Ben where gradually their bodies started breaking down. It’s a tough situation because running is what makes Allen so dangerous but it also could have long term effects. I’ve hear this but I question it, especially now. QBs used to get their heads ripped off but it’s such a different league now. If you go low or high on a qb, it’s a personal foul so defenders are adjusting and QBs aren’t going to take the monster hits like Kelly did in the pocket. It’s such a different league. It’s why qbs can play into their 40s because of the lack of contact. -
If Josh Allen won the Heisman/ MVP by age 23, do you think the narrative would be different on him? Of course it would. Allen wasn’t that great in college and he hasn’t put up great numbers in the nfl so far. Why do some act like people are just making you reasons why Allen has been doubted? also, flip side. If Allen won the Heisman, would nfl “draft experts” have him as not a first round pick and having to switch positions? I’d argue that Jackson has gotten a lot more unreasonable “hate” than Allen when you compare their resumes. Despite being a 56% passer in the MWC, no one suggested Allen should switch positions or shouldn’t be a high pick.

Lack of RB Production is limiting this Team

Allen is our goal line back. It’s like Cam. -

I will say they definitely don’t have breakaway speed at RB. Also, a mobile qb should be helping open things up for the run game. I think it is a solid, if unspectacular, duo. But they badly need a homerun threat.
