  1. Agree, coaches never get fired after a win. I am glad he was fired now, per your scenario, they beat the Fish, then lose the next week and he's fired. Next game up Buffalo. Hate to play a team the first or even 2nd week after they fire coach or even change starting QB's as teams often then play their most inspired game then. Redskins have three weeks to get the joy out of their system. I didn't see anything mentioned who was named the interim coach?
  2. Thought maybe post game there was some comment made about it. One shot they showed, looked like he was putting pressure on the side of it with a cloth under, made me think he was putting pressure to stop bleeding, that made me think cut??
  3. Any chance Gase gets the boot at season end?
  4. Was anything mentioned about what happened with Allen's right thumb? The announcers thought he hurt it, I thought he may have got a cut on it?
  5. 3rd quarter issues I feel are due to them being to conservative, they didn't want Josh or the offense to lose them the game. Then once they need to score again, they turn the switch. Problem is some week, when they turn the switch all they may hear is a clicking sound.
  6. Read that after what Brown said about Kraft, Kraft stated he'll never pay him. For the sake of argument, assume Brown wins the appeal, what would happen if NE didn't pay him? Can the league force them to pay him or garnish the money from the teams revenue sharing check or would Brown have to go to court and sue for the money? May be something brown would be afraid to do as too much of his life may be exposed to the point he'd be suspended again.
  7. Did you read what I wrote?? Seems the thought process by the coaching staff is offensively, the team is still weak, young QB who's still learning, somewhat shaky play on the O-line, top that off with injuries, and WR corp that's 2 to 3 X better than last year, but still probably overall rated in the bottom half of all teams. Is it going to bite them some point, yes but they aren't going to be risky as there's just not enough talent there yet overall. Maybe towards the end of the seaosn, they will feel different.
  8. Think the Int's will get better with time, though he'll always be somewhat of a gunslinger which isn't the worst problem to have so likely he'll always have more Int's than others. His completion percentage is much better than expected so far and he can make throws very few others can make. He's also seems to be well liked by his team mates too and seems to be good as a leader .
  9. 12-4 could give them the 3rd best record in the conference, but unfortunately they'd be rewarded with the 5th seed and a road playoff game agasint a team with a worse record. But that does happen many years and those are the ones the road team often does win. I'm not so sure of a split in them either maybe 2-4, but still would give them an 11-5 which probably would still give them the #5 seed. Will depend how much they actually improve as the seaosn goes on. If the offense starts playing better and scoring more points, then maybe.
  10. Yeah an one Int away from Tenn being the one kicking the FG too. Yes the good Josh was playing but the Int in Q-3 looked more like the old Josh. And now you're asking him to press. I just think they are going to try and do everything they can to make sure Josh and the offense in general doesn't lose the game for them.
  11. Think if Aaron Rogers were behind center things would be different! Seems the thought process by the coaching staff is offensively, the team is still weak, young QB who's still learning, somewhat shaky play on the O-line, top that off with injuries, and WR corp that's 2 to 3 X better than last year, but still probably overall rated in the bottom half of all teams. So the thinking is lets not go and lose games, play conservative and that extends through the 3rd Q of games too. Then they realize OK we need to start playing again. So far for the most part it's worked, it's nerve wracking, but consider the overall tlanet and experience on the offensive side of the ball, may not be a bad idea, though d owish they'd be a little more aggressive in Q-3
  12. For those complaining about Bojo, things could be worse!
  13. Didn't quite catch the starting lineup on TV, not that it means much, but did they show 2 TE and only 2 WR, not Zay?
  14. Will be interesting to see which is bigger this or the Legend of Kiko Of course now that he's actually activated the legend part it over.
  15. Well you got a 50/50 shot at guessing right! I don't kiss and tell! Well actually I do, but not this time.
  16. Beane stripped this team of great players like Dareus. We had a much better roster with Whaley than today.
  17. I do wonder if part of the problem too isn't enough continuity yet for the starters. That concerned me pre-season with Morse basically missing the entire time, then juggling Ford, Ty and Feliciano. Maybe it will improve some with time, but the juggling also continues. The problem ultimately comes down to their 5 best players are a center, three guards and a questionable tackle. Does make me wonder a little about Ford long term. Do they feel that give him a year and he'll be OK at RT or will he always be much stronger at guard. And if so where do you play him next year? Move either him or Feliciano to RG and not re-sign Spain?? Spain certainly isn't the week link though either.
  18. What did Gronk just state,he's had 100's of them, but how many are reported. If there was concussion protocol back in the 90's Kelly would have been removed from the SB against the Giants with about one minute left. In away that play may have even cost them the game as caused him to need to use a TO then which prevented them from having it left at the end which would have allowed them to run an extra play or two to get closer.
  19. If Daboll is on the sideline, likely Dorsey is up in the coaches booth. As has been stated by many, if this ruins Allen, he was already ruined. You see much worse every week, Marrone almost getting into a fight with Ramsey 2 weeks ago. Belichick smashing Surface Pro's and screaming at players including Brady.
  20. Well as someone pointed out Green is hurt alot so are you really even getting an asset that will help. And as I said I question if it actually might hurt Allen's development more than help him at this point in the season. I'd prefer they keep the draft pick to acquire more assets for next year.
  21. At 23 wasn't Favre sitting on the bench still in Atlanta?
  22. If Green or Digg's or anyone else were to become available as a FA, great sign him, but not in favor of giving up any resources as the return is likely not worth it. Of all the positions on the field WR is usually one of the toughest for a new guy to come in as regardless of how talented he is, he also needs to be on the same page as QB and that takes time to develop. Allen is still raw, one of his problems may be he thinks to much instead of reacting as still doesn't have enough experience to just simply react. The last thing I want is Allen back there thinking "Lets see where does the new guy want he ball again" At this point guys he's most familiar with will help him the best. Typically you bring a new WR in, he spends extra practice time with the QB, again at this point any extra time Allen might have can be better spent elsewhere I'd think. I recall back around 1990, the Bills brought in James Loften think it was around this same point in the season, took some time for him to begin to look good, certainly by season end he was looking real good, but that was also with a QB who's been here for around 3 to 4 years too. Bring the new guys in off season when Allen has time to work with him, but not now when it just may add to his confusion. And not worth spending resources for little return. I'd extend this thought to all the Duke Williams fans out there too. He likely also hasn't had much time working with Allen either add in that he himself is still very raw too. At this point for the Bills the best strategy might be WRT, WR dance with the girl who brought you even if that girl is named Zay! The Bills aren't winning the SB this year either way.
  23. That's complete nonsense. You see the same garbage after wins too!!
  24. The other one they could get rid of next year with little cap hit is Kroft. If Knox and Sweeney keep developing, think it may happen. Actually think it may come down to him or Smith He could be cut and never have played a down for the team.
