  1. And you think you have the same access? Tell me just for starters, how many Bills are on your speed dial list? Do you mind passing on Roger Goodells phone number? Maybe you are in the 1% that I mentioned, but seems like most here just think they are.
  2. Because they have access to both contacts and materials that 99% of us here don't get to see and here. Yes people are astute, but they are also fans which is short for fanatics so we don't tend to view many things objectively. It's why there's no cheering in the press box, they aren't fans.
  3. The Bills played like Sybil all season. Today they played the way many expected them to play based on the opinions in September. It shows they are still a good and a talented team to be worried about playing. Maybe they've really figured things out this time, we shall see. If so, they could win it all as easily as any team in the league. That's probably the message the talking heads will give. They played the way they were expected to play and when they do, they are a top team!
  4. Think a lineman can get away with it a little more as not as much running. But he'll be lucky if he can play next season at all at a high NFL level. I tore mine about 25 years ago, about 3 months after Dan Marino did his. Recalled how Marino described it "thought someone kicked him in the back of the ankle" As soon as I did mine based on Marino's description I stated that's what happened and the people I was with nuts, "you just sprained and ankle they said". But was torn. 4 months later have a picture of me walking down the Mt Van Hovenberg bobsled run using one crutch for extra support.
  5. Even the first two series or so when Ike was still in the game and Brown was playing LT and Dawkins was on the bench, they looked pretty damm good!
  6. Money yes, millions for one game of catching passes thrown to him that he's paid to catch. This ain't MLB It may get him resigned in Buffalo IF he wants. He may be to pissed to sign here.
  7. That's right, first one was Hughes. He's had a history of these dumb plays too. I don't know wit hall the momentum and a player touching your back, it doesn't take much to go down in that situation.
  8. I'm not complaining about the refs at all today after the Bills didn't get called for a roughing call when Milano hit Jones after he clearly was OB. Yes he tried to hold him up, but he still initiated contact after he was OB. If there was no contact, there'd be no argument about how Jones went down. Then when they did call, was it Milano again on the roughing call, then two more flags (hats) thrown, I was assuming it was going to be roughing on Milano, then an extra personal foul on each team but just one on NE called. And this was NE too. So lets not complain about officials today!
  9. That may be a bit of an over-reaction
  10. Pro Bowl think is something like 1/3 each players, fans, and media. MVP I believe is writers only and not all writers, select ones??
  11. How long has he been out. Based on change in rules, he could have been back since early in the week, but wasn't. so that tells me he likely wasn't symptom free. Injured players will start to at least practice with team before being cleared to play. If on the Covid list, that's not possible. So his only option to stay in game shape was working out at home. Not exactly the same. Add in that he hasn't played like he's been 100% even when he was back.
  12. Can't understand why it's harder to track. However do think the 2nd part of not getting to see them in practice is the key here. I've posted before, think Bojo is gone because of his contract demands and holding issues. Haack has been great on holds, punting so-so, hasn't lived up to the expectations. Having said that, wouldn't be shocked to see the Bills use around a 6th rounder on a punter.
  13. Recall after the Aaron Rodgers saga him bringing up that once he was positive, he'll no longer be tested for the next three months. He brought this up in the context of "See I told you the NFL rules are stupid"
  14. OK so he must be vaxxed. Probably a smart move for unsigned players to be vaxxed as better chance a team signs them
  15. This list is changing faster than the undrafted rookie list every April!
  16. You forgot John Hart! or was he cut again?
  17. Not sure anymore since many rules have changed, but thought there was a rule that any potential signing of a "street player" (that did not come directly from another team environment) had to quarantine for 10 days before reporting?
  18. Yeah not to sound like Grinch but think there's a better chance of this happening than some people who are posting about "hoping so and so will be back in time for Sunday"!
  19. Thought it was during the Anthem!
  20. It takes him three days to publish his results and grades. Many posters here already have grades on the players before the game is even finished. I supposed they'd try and tell you it's because they are so much smarter.
  21. Yes but the fear is the team may be out 15 players, so yes enough to play with PS call ups. But there may be another dozen whom test positive the day after the game, meanwhile during the game they infect a dozen players on opposing team who then do the same the following week. By canceling the game you're doing more to contain it. And by forfeiting and losing a game check may give incentive to get vaxxed. Though I think with the league being over 92% vaxxed overall, doubt there's much of anything could be done to convince the last 8 % to take the shot. Maybe a $1mil bonus payed??
  22. I live in the Carolina's, not one Bills game was on local TV all season till last week against Carolina and again this week. Except I'm visiting in the Philly area!
  23. Recall going to a game maybe 20 years ago. Bought the tickets from someone and they were around the 25 yard line, 2nd row from the field. When the action was in front of me had a great view, but once it went beyond the 25 heading towards the 50 and beyond, the players all standing by/near the bench blocked pretty much everything. I tried yelling at them to sit, but they wouldn't listen.
  24. WRT #3 Brown. Agree he had a very rough game. On the taunting call watching the replay it was one of those where the Panther player started it and pushed Brown, Brown pushed back and got the penalty. Was similar to earlier on the personal foul against Carolina, Bills pushed first, then Carolina retaliated and got flagged. He needs to show more discipline, but just like the Carolina guy earlier and in every other game you watch easier said than done. He only sat out one or two plays at most I wonder if Brown and Groot have bot hit the "Rookie wall" as they call it after 10 or 11 games. Couple that with both of them didn't even play at all last season, could be they are both just out of energy at this point as never had to go this long before.
