  1. You forgot John Hart! or was he cut again?
  2. Not sure anymore since many rules have changed, but thought there was a rule that any potential signing of a "street player" (that did not come directly from another team environment) had to quarantine for 10 days before reporting?
  3. Yeah not to sound like Grinch but think there's a better chance of this happening than some people who are posting about "hoping so and so will be back in time for Sunday"!
  4. Thought it was during the Anthem!
  5. It takes him three days to publish his results and grades. Many posters here already have grades on the players before the game is even finished. I supposed they'd try and tell you it's because they are so much smarter.
  6. Yes but the fear is the team may be out 15 players, so yes enough to play with PS call ups. But there may be another dozen whom test positive the day after the game, meanwhile during the game they infect a dozen players on opposing team who then do the same the following week. By canceling the game you're doing more to contain it. And by forfeiting and losing a game check may give incentive to get vaxxed. Though I think with the league being over 92% vaxxed overall, doubt there's much of anything could be done to convince the last 8 % to take the shot. Maybe a $1mil bonus payed??
  7. I live in the Carolina's, not one Bills game was on local TV all season till last week against Carolina and again this week. Except I'm visiting in the Philly area!
  8. Recall going to a game maybe 20 years ago. Bought the tickets from someone and they were around the 25 yard line, 2nd row from the field. When the action was in front of me had a great view, but once it went beyond the 25 heading towards the 50 and beyond, the players all standing by/near the bench blocked pretty much everything. I tried yelling at them to sit, but they wouldn't listen.
  9. WRT #3 Brown. Agree he had a very rough game. On the taunting call watching the replay it was one of those where the Panther player started it and pushed Brown, Brown pushed back and got the penalty. Was similar to earlier on the personal foul against Carolina, Bills pushed first, then Carolina retaliated and got flagged. He needs to show more discipline, but just like the Carolina guy earlier and in every other game you watch easier said than done. He only sat out one or two plays at most I wonder if Brown and Groot have bot hit the "Rookie wall" as they call it after 10 or 11 games. Couple that with both of them didn't even play at all last season, could be they are both just out of energy at this point as never had to go this long before.
  10. Actually they just used this fast replay system in the Washington Philly game to overturn an Int in about 20 seconds Wonder if they will further expand this fast system next season much further? Maybe that is the answer if it's not so obvious that it can be overturned in less than a half minute, but instead takes 3 to 4 minutes to review and decide on a call, then just let it stand as called on field.
  11. OK but did he state single digit percentage or number of players? I thought he said number of players?
  12. Very likely could have happened that way, will never know or came from on the outside. But if vaxxed, rules are more liberal. So do agree I think next year other than true superstars i.e. Aaron Rodgers, I think un-vaxxed players will have trouble finding a job in the NFL. Why would a team want the extra burden of higher likelihood of missing time?
  13. Unless they've changed these rules too, believe any players signed that didn't just get cut i.e. came directly from another team environment, is required to quarantine for 10 days before joining the team. The way things are going they may have scaled that back too, but if not the earliest Brown could play would be Jan 1st??
  14. Thought he stated the number of players un-vaxxed was in single digits. So that could be 8 or 9 out of 53 which would end up with a higher percent, roughly 15%?? That would be a small improvement of the training camp numbers that were published someplace of around 20%
  15. I somewhat agree with you. I say somewhat because a few years back I felt the college reviews were much faster. But lately they've become almost as slow as the NFL. I wonder whatever happened a few years back seem to recall the review would last "X" amount of seconds, after that the monitor would turn off, so that limited the length of reviews. IMO the biggest thing that would help is full time referees.
  16. They said the issue with the Carolina punter is he's from Australia and played their style football which doesn't involve place kicking so has never done it. For most teams the punter could kick FG in emergency. Admittedly is surprising when they signed the punter they didn't have him practice kicking FG's too. Wouldn't be surprised if that is what he's doing right now though.
  17. Agree with most of what you state, but isn't Boxing day the 26th? Tenn-Sf game is this Thursday the 23rd.
  18. Was kind of thinking the same. I assume they did pick up his option?
  19. Initially I agreed, but looking at the replay it was one of those plays where the other guy started it first and he responded and got the call. Just like earlier that one on the sideline, Bills started it, but Panther guy made the last push and got flagged.
  20. Actually I'd probably like them, though would prefer made with milk chocolate.
  21. Am I missing something or are you trying to invent something?? What's with the "Cookie" thing? Do agree with your picks however!
  22. They often talk about 1st year players hitting the rookie wall after 10 or 11 games. In the case of Brown and Groot, not only are they rookies hitting the potential wall, they also both didn't play last season so I'd think that would be like the effect of hitting the rookie wall exponentially! Their bodies may have no game conditioning left at this point.
