  1. They are a division rival by definition, but this series has been too one sided the last 20+ years for it to be a true rivalry.
  2. Unfortunately the bills will show the world who they are again this week against another good team and I still don't think this one will be particularly close given McDermotts post game comments from last time and facing an angry motivated Pats team coming off their first loss in over two months. Pats 38 Bills 16
  3. Never underestimate this coaching staff though when it comes to their roster evaluation. It took them 3/4 the season to realize Singletary is a #1 back and should be getting the bulk of the carries, among other head scratching moves.
  4. We are actually fortunate to not be in the Browns or a few other teams shoes right now. But you get the sense that the NFL is desperate to keep the rest of the season intact as much as possible aside from they games being played yesterday and today that had a slight delay.
  5. He's going to get a shot this week, as will other guys with the Bills suddenly depleted WR corps.
  6. TD production aside, he was still on pace for one of his best seasons of his career in terms of receptions and yards. And any chance this team has of winning any games in the playoffs (assuming they get there) involves Beasely in the lineup and on the field.
  7. Covid may play a huge factor in the playoffs but it's not going to decide who wins this division for the simple fact that the Bills had every opportunity to take care of business against teams like the Steelers and Jaguars earlier in the season when Covid was a non issue. You win those two games alone and right now the Bills are still in great shape even with an expected sweep by the Patriots after Sunday.
  8. Harbaugh is a proven SB winning head coach and gets the benefit of the doubt. He also knows he's playing with house money this year because Jackson is still under rookie contract and they are missing half their roster to IR right now. This is why I'd have more respect for McDermott if he had more balls and it's no coincidence this team has floundered since the Titans game and the failed 4th down in that game that probably would have won it. He has completely went into a shell and essentially told this team he doesn't trust them anymore.
  9. Bills played the Chiefs when they were peaking and the Chiefs were in 'figure it out' mode like the Pats teams with Brady of years past. They also didn't have Chris Jones in that game and it's no coincidence their current win streak started with him healthy and back in the lineup. Just like it's no coincidence they struggled again last week against the Chargers without him. I don't think the Bills will even get far enough and/or meet the Chiefs in the playoffs anyway this year so it's probably a moot point.
  10. If the Bills win this game it will be because they finally show up and play a complete game for 4 quarters and turn the tide in the final minutes in close one score games but to think they are going to go into Foxboro and win more than a single score is delusional at best. I think people are still not understanding what it says about the Patriots that they were able to come into Buffalo and win with their QB throwing a few passes. If Mac Jones plays remotely competent on Sunday something to the tune of 200 yards a 2 TD's they are going to be the ones that blow the Bills of the field and win comfortably that's how big the gap truly is between these two teams (specifically the coaches).
  11. Zero evidence to suggest this but it would certainly be time to silence the critics once and for all.
  12. This is the problem though, you can't force these guys to do that and there is going to be major outbreaks league wide in the next few weeks after the dust from xmas gatherings settle conveniently in critical games to end the season and into January during the playoffs.
  13. Even if the Bills somehow win this game they aren't catching the chiefs in the standings despite having the head to head tiebreaker. And does anybody really think the Bills would stand a chance going into Arrowhead again in the playoffs and not facing a similar outcome to last year's AFCCG. Two completely different teams right now and just thinking about Chris Jones going against this offensive line is a nightmare in itself especially since he was out for the game in earlier in the year which certainly helped the Bills cause that day.
  14. Guarantee the NFL moves this game since it's the Chiefs.
  15. Regardless how this season ultimately plays out and a post mortem is done on the Bills 2021 season I still think in hindsight it's going to show how meaningless the Bills win against the Chiefs was earlier in the season and how both teams seemed to go in completely opposite directions since. I hope a resounding message is also sent to the Bills front office and coaching staff about offseason strategy, particularly when looking at the Chiefs who made it to the SB and lost last year but didn't stand pat and believe they were set bringing back the same team vs. the Bills who were crushed by the same Chiefs team in the AFCCG yet thought they didn't need to make any major upgrades outside of the draft. Either way as it stands today it looks like at minimum the chiefs are on their way to a 4th straight AFCCG (likely at home) while the bills may not even make it back to the playoffs or if they do will be a WC team at best.
  16. Not a fan of Feliciano as a player but that really sucks if he ended up in the ER despite being vaccinated. Also probably means he'll be a complete non factor for this team the rest of the season even if healthy and active.
  17. A loss is a loss and don't really matter and smart fans aren't going to be deceived by the final margin of victory especially the failed comeback against the Bucs which is fools gold and perhaps the Bucs aren't that good to begin with based on what happened to then against the Saints. The Bills once again showed their true colors against another poor Panthers team that was still in the game late in the 4th quarter despite how inept their QB and offense was. Anyone can choose to believe what they like but if you think this team is going into Foxboro and beating belichik after McDermott's comments coupled with coming off a bad loss to the Colts good luck with that.
  18. There's never going to be a solution in regards to officiating that appeases everyone. And even if they bring back the rule to challenge pass interference in terms of both missed calls and calls that should have never happened it ultimately boils down to the refs discretion and what they believe they are seeing.
  19. How many more wake calls do they need? Seems like we have more than reached the quota for that excuse by now. Panthers have a decent defense but against a team not starting a washed up QB and without any semblance of a threat at WR/RB/TE etc the Bills lose and likely lose big. Just seems some fans never learn and are gluttons for punishment especially going up against a superior team and coach that is going to run circles around this team again on Sunday.
  20. Probably not because he knows he owns this team and has been living rent free in everyone in western NY's head for the greater part of two decades now. Either way with McDermott matched up against Belichik it's pretty much like facing a 10 point handicap right out of the gate which is why this team truly needs to show up and try and jump on this team early so they don't get ran all over and have a chance to win.
  21. A win is a win but I tend to agree that this win didn't instill much confidence and it's just another game where the Bills were lucky they weren't playing a competent QB/Coach/etc or it would have been a loss. I also think the Bills are going to need to play like they did against the Bucs in the 2nd half (i.e. a full complete game) just to have a chance to hang around with the Pats next week because they are going to be facing a very motivated and angry team that's going to be ready to demolish the Bills from the opening kickoff. Also let's not forgot about McD's ill advised post game comments last time, I can guarantee Belichik won't.
  22. All I know is I would not want to see the Dolphins a 3rd time this year in the playoffs assuming both teams get there, wouldn't have much confidence in winning that match up right now based on how they are playing.
  23. Everyone knows the answer but this coaching staff is dead set on playing veterans and guys 'they seem to trust more'.
  24. The Bills did what they needed to against another lessor team. And just like with the Jets, Saints, etc in recent weeks this game doesn't move the needle and anybody that's been paying attention knows how this predicable movie is going to play out specifically in another game next week against a team that isn't the Panthers, Jets, etc.
  25. I've also felt along that Singletary is the best back on this team and needs to get the bulk of the carries. Not a superstar by any means but there are very few truly elite RB's left in today's NFL. But in this case it's better late then never and hopefully this coaching staff realizes they need to stick with the hot hands in other positions as well (i.e Gabe Davis, Obada, etc.).
