  1. Wow that's actually a massive loss and probably the most gritty player on the defense you would want out there against an offense like the patriots.
  2. Going to see lot a lot of interesting decisions on 4th down if that's the case, maybe even on PAT attempts as well going for two.
  3. I expect to see Dawkins/Boettger/Morse/Williams/Brown tonight with possibly Ford sprinkled in at guard at times. And this should be the starting 5 going forward the rest of the way barring more covid stuff or injuries.
  4. Steelers started 11-0 last year and you don't do that by fluke. Like I said before, if folks think there wouldn't be at least 10-15 teams lining up to hire Tomlin if he was available your crazy.
  5. That's not saying much and Dawkins is probably still going to be a liability out there the rest of the season because he's not the same player this year likely because of the covid stuff.
  6. I'm not worried about them because we've already swept them, but if we were to play them a 3rd time in the playoffs I think all bets are off and in hindsight it was indeed a quality win beating them in Buffalo in a game they dominated for 3 quarters.
  7. Again compare resumes to McDermott and get back to me. The only reason we beat the Steelers in the last two years is because they had a four string QB playing the first time and last year were in the midst of a collapse. This year the Steelers won on opening day and it wasn't a fluke because they had the better HC on the sideline.
  8. Sorry but I'll take a HC that's been to multiple SB's and won a few of them over McDermott clapping vigorously after stupid personal fouls and other undisciplined nonsense no doubt will rear it's ugly head again tonight.
  9. It's still debatable and for all we know Allen goes the way of Cam Newton in a few years. Just looking around the league and within our own division, Beane's drafting has left a lot to be desired especially when you look at the wealth of riches on the Dolphins roster and I believe they have multiple picks again next year in the first few rounds to keep adding top tier talent.
  10. This is actually the best possible news you can ask for before the game. Feliciano is terrible and would have been a major liability against probably the best dline i the league right now. Hopefully he's played his last down as a member of this team anyway.
  11. Just looking over the Dolphins roster and man are they stacked with talent across the board, it's amazing that we were able to sweep them especially the dominant game in week 2. Also PFF has Tua graded out as the #1 QB in the NFL yesterday and you can see his game evolving as the season goes on. For all the Patriots hype, I would not be shocked at all if the Dolphins sneak into the tourney and make a SB run because they certainly have the roster for it and playing a grimy style of football particularly on defense right now.
  12. If the Steelers are ever dumb enough to fire him I'd dump McDermott and take him in a heartbeat as I'd suspect most other teams around the league except NE and KC would do.
  13. In hindsight it may all be a mirage and covid year fluke but time will tell.
  14. Denver is probably going to land Aaron Rogers, Russell Wilson or Deshawn Watson in the offseason and will be right up there in the championship mix. Fangio is actually a decent coach but might not be around to next year to reap the benefits of this but it's not his fault he's been in QB purgatory during his tenure there.
  15. He didn't draft White or Milano, that was Doug Whaley. And the best player outside he drafted outside of Allen he didn't think was good enough to play over a guy like Feliciano and was traded to the Browns for peanuts. Like I've said all along, if you take a hard look at Beane under the microscope his FA dealings and drafts have been pretty poor in general but for some reason people think he's a messiah and by into the hype content produced in Orchard Park.
  16. I would sign Brown in a heartbeat if he was released but he already declined coming here and pretty sure that would still be the case.
  17. It's somewhat ironic that the Dolphins may be the only hope the Bills have of winning the division or still getting a top seed in the AFC but it's a moot point unless the Bills somehow find a way to win tonight.
  18. Why do some Bills fans go out of there way to diminish other teams success? If you were to read this forum regularly it's almost as every other team who is playing well right now is just 'lucky' and the Bills are somehow not culpable for their own failures and current mediorcrity? Yes with a better QB the Broncos probably could have made it a game and even won last night, but the fact of the matter they didn't and the Chiefs are a defending two time AFC champion for a reason. I also had a hunch all along their defense would get better later in the year similiar to the Pats teams of years past even though Mahomes still isn't playing near his capability yet which is a scary though.
  19. The sad reality is there are still scenarios in which the Bills can win tonight and still don't win the division, make the playoffs etc. But a loss is certainly a bigger issue since the Bills would be staring down the barrel of 7-6 with Brady and Bucs next week and probably looking at 10-7 best case assuming they would be able to sweep the trio of Panthers/Jets/Falcons at home which is no sure thing they way this team has played at times this year and the type of teams they've already lost to. Still think at the end of the day this may not even be a playoff team this year.
  20. My overall point is the Beane never seems to draft anybody that's not just a JAG outside of Allen. But yet he seems to value draft picks as a means to an end. No Groot is not a bust but he hasn't done anything of note this year outside of the two dolphins games and the big play against the chiefs. The stats says his pressure rate has been almost nonexistent outside of those games. Also when you look at picks like Epensena and Basham it's very puzzling not only because of the fact they aren't doing much for this team and/or getting playing time, but the players out there we could have had instead (i.e. Creed Humphrey) reflect badly on this drafting and talent evaluation.
  21. No they don't facts matter and just like the Pats they are red hot playing dominant defense and winning games which is all that matters. Bills are 3-3 in last six so until they can win even consecutive games again they aren't in the same conversation.
  22. The way the Chiefs defense is playing right now they can win Mahomes being below average and if he improves even marginally they are probably getting to the SB for a 3rd straight year again at worse. They might anyway which speaks volumes about how coaching truly matters.
  23. Until he beats Belichik and the Pats in a meaningful game he's not a true wartime coach. And I hope to god he don't trot Bass out there if this team is trailing by double digits early and/or any long FG attempts with the expected weather conditions. Show some balls if you want to beat Belichik and have any real chance of making a run this year.
  24. It's a true defining moment for Allen and McDermott and no it's not just another game no matter what anybody says because with next weeks game against Brady and the Bucs pretty much a guaranteed loss what faint hopes the Bills have of winning the division starts tonight.
  25. I don't see the Chiefs losing another game this year and despite all the current head to head tiebreakers they have a great shot of being the #1 overall seed in the AFC again if the Patriots stumble and lose another game this year.
