The team is thriving right now and Allen is developing right now. If Allen does not make it then you find another QB. You do not get rid of Beane/McD because of it. Let Beane make the changes, which does not mean blow it up and start over. Beane’s body of work is more than Allen, although Allen is key because QB is always critical.

I can see them drafting a developmental OT in later rounds. One with tools but needs coaching up and better competition. OR maybe they like a guy in round 2? I think they are banking on Ford improving. Why wouldn’t they? They traded up to get him. If not, then aTy starts. Someone mentioned the presence of Diggs. He will definitely help the OL by reducing the jail brake blitzing we saw.

Bills sign RB Taiwan Jones 1 YR

Indeed. Kick coverage and returns are typically your biggest yardage swings with change of possession. It’s best to be good at this. Field position is important. -

They are bringing in another character guy that they know. This guys can make plays when needed and is a ST stud. Worth a look. -
Bills get a true #1 that is just reaching prime and has a good contract. Let’s play some football, then grade it.

Bills sign LB Tyler Matakevich on a 2 year deal $9m

Every team should have a few guys like this, but they are not very common. I’m betting he makes a few big plays for us on Special Teams. -
BPA is always a nice place to be so lets see what else Free Agency brings. Right now I think we still have a need to get younger and better at DE/Edge rush and at RB. If not further addressed in free agency I would look at those positions in rounds 2 and 3. I think OT, CB, S, are all possibilities too if the right player is there. On draft day it will be hard to miss out on that pick at 22 but Diggs will plug in immediately as a proven #1 and at a great contract.

Bills re-sign Jason Croom to 1-year deal

If Knox and Sweeney improve, and Kroft stays healthy, then the whole group improves regardless who else makes it. Smith and Croom come to camp but I expect more competition to be brought in too. -
There was nothing wrong any of their old logo's or helmets. They were right on the money for a football team named the RAMS !!!! Another money grab.

Internally there’s some love for Tee Higgins

We have a long history of drafting good WRs but things are different in the WR Diva Era of today. “The Process” will be important in bringing in the right player, talent is just part of it. -
One year ago today: AB era in Buffalo
Bob in STL replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sometimes less is more. AB not wanting to play for us was great luck. -
Drawing that conclusion on a sample if ONE. Inspiring analysis.

These threads on McDermott are ridiculous. Further, the notion that San Fran blew the game only attempts to lesson what KC did. Two excellent teams, great game, KC won because their best player was the games best player. Period.

He would be on it for sure if he did not have the off field issues.

Well deserved for Andy. Mahomes will be a force for a long time. -
