  1. Making my first trip to Buffalo for the August 7 practice. Taking the family. Any suggestions on where to get the best wings or food?
  2. Does he block well? Cause as far as I can tell Ben is gonna be doomed behind that line.
  3. That’s funny. When Simms talks glowingly about our qb, everyone loves him. But when he criticizes Rousseau and Basham, everyone feels negatively about him. Can’t really have it both ways. I think he makes valid points. Rousseau is a huge project and a big time boom or bust. He has ELITE physical tools that the Bills are betting on. Much like they did with Allen. It worked with Allen, and only time will tell if it will pay similar dividends with Rousseau. As for Basham…we will see there too. Another poster hit on the head with the reasonable floor, and low ceiling remark. I think this is how it will be with him. I was pretty upset with that pick, but I obviously hope he exceeds expectations and becomes a solid player for us.
  4. You do realize it’s “clear” that Singletary is not very good, right? He’s slow and can’t catch a screen pass in pressure situations.
  5. Ford just needs to stay healthy. He has the nasty demeanor that we need on that line. Oliver should be ok with a better edge rush. Im not convinced Knox will ever learn to catch the ball consistently. And he has had some really bad penalties at the wrong times that tell me he needs better discipline. As for Singletary…I hope he improves for the simple fact he’s on this team, but I’m pretty much over him. His drops out of the backfield and the lack of speed have me wanting a lot more. I think the team actually feels more comfortable with Moss anyways.
  6. Josh Allen critics still exist? I hope so! Lord knows they need pitching…
  7. Let me know when OJ Howard is in town for a workout…
  8. You mean a guy with a noodle arm is struggling to fit the ball in tight windows? Amazing…
  9. Apparently you are the one that is “high”. In no way did I mean he was one of the most talented…what I meant was he is one of the most likable guys around. Good grief…
  10. I think the choice in the first question is Stafford. He’s a very talented guy and now has weapons everywhere. For the second question…how is it NOT unanimous with Fitz? One of the best guys to ever put on a helmet…
  11. Chiefs. They have better overall weapons. The two qbs are a lot closer than most people think IMO.
  12. I hated the Epenesa pick and I really think it speaks volumes about what the staff thinks of Epenesa so far in that they drafted DEs with their first two picks this year. Or McD is just being a coach and not trying to hurt “Eppy’s” feelings...
  13. Yep. Makes no sense. None. Just because our offense was elite last year shouldn’t mean you aren’t trying to make it even better.
  14. So not sharing your “opinion” makes me and others “out-of-touch”. How nice of you... Exactly. To argue that having someone like Kamara, McCaffery, or even Etienne seems silly. They would automatically make this offense better than it is with what we currently have.
  15. Etienne is fast enough to get to the holes before they close up. Unlike Singletary and Moss. That’s the point. The fact that you are arguing against getting an Alvin Kamara type player is funny to me. I think most would take Kamara (or someone that is compared to him) in a heartbeat. I mean you are entitled to your opinion, but don’t sit back and act like a player like that couldn’t help this team win two more games...
  16. Exactly. The argument to never draft a running back in the first is for crappy teams. We are one of the top teams in the league now and a guy like Etienne is someone that could be a serious weapon for the next five years at a minimum. People will argue Breida, but there is no guarantee he will be here after this year. A long term home run threat at RB is still a need.
  17. Disagree. This year WAS different. We are finally in a spot where we can make luxury picks. It’s what good teams do. A guy like Etienne would have put this offense over the top. Can anyone tell me that it would be a bad thing to have a guy like Alvin Kamara on the team? That’s who he has been compared to...
  18. I wanted him too. Of all the DE’s, I thought the two that were least likely to be Bills were Rousseau and Oweh. They are just so raw. However, it’s clear that the Bills like to bet on elite traits and have been rewarded with results in guys like Allen. I also thought the covid opt outs were going to play a bigger role for the bills. They want guys that love football, but Rousseau and Brown seem to have pretty legit reasons behind their opt outs.
  19. I agree. I wanted Etienne and thought he could have helped take this offense to the next level. People seem to be blinded by “no running back in the first” that they ignore Etienne’s playmaking abilities. He’s so much more than a RB. And he’s got years of productivity. I hope Rousseau turns out to be great. He’s got all the tools but he’s beyond raw. However, the last time the bills bet on traits, we got our franchise qb...so...
  20. I think his response went right over your head. Haha. The point is...who cares? Haha
