  1. If they didn’t go to the same school would you say this? Come on. This is just really lazy.
  2. He also must have sent Beane a text last year before round one that said “Dalton Kincaid”…
  3. For those of you that aren’t thrilled about the Keon Coleman pick…remember one thing. Word came out that he was the last receiver left on Allen’s wish list. Thats a big deal. Why would Beane not want to consult the face of his franchise when trying to get him more weapons? This tells me that Allen’s wish list included Harrison, Nabers, Odunze, Coleman, and probably Thomas. Think of it this way…if worthy, pearsall, or legette were on that list, they would have taken them at 28, or at most 32 for legette. I’m sure Beane would have liked to have traded down another time, but he could have risked losing Coleman. I wasn’t overly thrilled with Coleman being the guy, but while he might lack separation on tape, and a good 40 time, he also had amazing splits in the 40 and other drills. The drills are where the football comes out in these guys…you know, catching the ball. Haha. Anyways…when you look at the bigger picture with Coleman, it’s not a bad pick at all. The guy is really athletic, has great hands and body control…and most of all…Allen wanted him.
  4. How so? I haven’t seen anything that supports this. Still seeing odunze as a possibility.
  5. He’s my draft crush. Unfortunately, it just seems like a long shot. I’m sure there are other teams that are either already in position or a few that would trade up as well to get this guy. If we came away with odunze, that would be my dream scenario.
  6. Marino posting (cherry picking) an article saying we are more likely to stay put or trade down doesn’t do much for me. I like the guy and listen to him all the time, but of course he is going to post and article that has someone saying what he prefers to happen. Hes totally against trading up.
  7. With all due respect…have you seen Beane in the first round? We are most likely trading up imo. We have the ammo to do it to get a stud to replace diggs
  8. The problem now is we need someone to come in right away that has number 1 potential from day one. If we had Diggs, there was room for growth from the rookie. Now we need a day 1 contributor.
  9. It’s an amazing draft for WRs. Just draft one in the first on the cheap and control him for up to 5 years
  10. Why can’t it be the other way around though? What if they are planning on getting a WR in 1 and then trade up in 2 to get their DT?
  11. There are also gonna be some DBs and defensive line taken as well. I can almost guarantee that Beane won’t bet on shorter after Davis seemingly backfired on him.
  12. My fear is that we go defense in round 1, which allows KC to get a WR that we all like. It seems to be McDs MO…try stopping the other teams’ offense. Another thing that worries me is KC trading up a pick or two in front of us and taking our guy, kinda like how they came up for McDuffie and forced us to reach for Elam. Yuck. All that said…I hope I’m wrong and we are all celebrating our new stud first round WR soon enough.
  13. I like Polk a lot, but I don’t think he will fit what we are looking for because they have been very vocal about wanting speed and polk was in the 4.5’s.
  14. Who is at the top of the second that might need a qb if nix and/or McCarthy fall to 28? We might be able to recoup a first rounder next year to move down to allow that team to come up for the qb on the fifth year option.
  15. McConkey also said he didn’t meet with the bills at the combine. One of the only top guys that didn’t meet with them. However…he did talk to them at the senior bowl.
  16. I am trying to not corner myself into one player this year, because it never seems to go the way I want it to. Instead, I’m trying to put some of the WRs in a bucket and hoping for one of them. Right now, I would take one of Brian Thomas, Troy Franklin, or AD Mitchell at 28. It seems as though Franklin and Mitchell might still be somewhat realistic. Thomas may have put himself firmly in the top 20 after yesterday. Mitchell has that big game pedigree that we need. Cosell also loves him and says he thinks he might be a top 10 wr in the league in 3 years. Good enough for me…
  17. My thoughts are that if AD Mitchell slips to around 22-23, then Beane should try to go get him. Watching Cosell talk about the WRs, he says that he thinks Mitchell will be a top 10 wr in the league in 3 years. That would coincide nicely with Diggs departing. He showed explosiveness, speed, agility, and has big game experience. For me, that’s the guy.
  18. Thank You for saying that. I didn’t always show it, or act like it, but I loved her. Dealing with a lot of remorse that it took this to realize some of these things
  19. Just got off the phone with Gift of Life. They said everything went “amazing” last night. Because of Jill, 5 people now have hope. This trajedy has a happy outcome for so many others. She was a special person. If you are not an organ donor right now, please consider it. I wasn’t, but will be after this. The thought that my wife’s heart is still beating is such a HUGE step in this healing process. God bless all of you. Scott
  20. It is with sadness to say that my wife of 20 years passed last evening. She was 46. She was a wonderful wife and mother and a joy to everyone she met. Die hard Bills fan. Especially loved Poyer and Knox (like most women do…haha). I’m devastated, but I can’t thank you all enough for your thoughts, prayers, well-wishes, and donations. You are all amazing and now, even more than before, a part of my family. God bless all of you, and make amends with your loved ones before it’s too late. There will be a lot of good coming from this trajedy through the advice that she has inspired and all the recipients of her organs that will get the opportunity to continue to live.
  21. It is with a heavy heart that I have to let you all know the doctors can’t do anything more for my beautiful wife. She had a massive stroke on Saturday night (on top of the massive aneurysm on Friday night) and we have decided to remove her air tube on Wednesday morning. This has taught me so much. First, how much I truly loved and depended on my wife. Second, how precious life is. Third, don’t say, do, or have actions that you might regret. Fourth, football is just a game. We all love the Bills and have different ways that we think they need to go, but in the end, none of it matters. Hold tight the ones you love. Don’t sweat financial issues, stay close to your spouse, and just flat out do the very best you can. With love…Scott and Jill Whorley
  22. Hi guys…wanted to give an update. After my message about movement in her toes last night, there was a turn for the worse by morning. I’ll share details once I am strong enough.
