  1. That’s fair, but is it any coincidence that they unit that has excelled is the one that McD has less control over? I don’t think it is. McD is a defensive guy yet somehow always seems to ruin great performances by Allen and the offense.
  2. I honestly don’t want to hear anymore excuses from this guy. He prob cost us a chance at a sb in 21 and has been on a regression ever since. Enough is enough with his snide excuses
  3. Read all that for the only thing that made sense in all of it. The very last paragraph where you say “I don’t think any of this makes sense”.
  4. You lost me at “He's gotta be a whole lot better than what he is at that price tag”. Did you see the game last night?
  5. You honestly think Beane has all the say in who he drafts and signs? I don’t. I think McD has his fingerprints all over this roster and nudges Beane on who to draft and get in here as FAs. Just look at the high picks on defense and all the FA dollars on that side of the ball. It has the stench of a defensive minded HC written all over it.
  6. I agree with the response to my post. However, I think Beane deserves the opportunity to hire his own HC. Gotta remember…it was McD that hired Beane…not the other way around.
  7. I’m not sure “who”, but it has to be an offensive mind. Enough with this defensive crap. You have Josh Allen. Now build around the mid before it’s too late.
  8. The thing is, I’d rather go with the unknown at this point, because we all know at this point what McD gets you. It’s just not good enough.
  9. Good for you buddy…I’m glad you embrace the minority in those that actually support this wimp. Congrats!
  10. Sounds to me like Joe Brady is being directed by McD to help him justify making him a team captain. It seems like they are trying too hard to redirect focus off of how much of a liability Davis is in the passing game.
  11. I understand that and it’s a good point. I guess I should have clarified…I meant after this season. Dorsey was probably just the beginning. McDermott is pretty much the only remaining constant in all this. So at some point he needs to be held accountable.
  12. McD melted in 13 seconds and the ST coach was fired. We lost last year and Frazier is “taking a year off”. We are in a slide this year, and Dorsey is canned. Yet no one is holding the main culprit in all this…McDermott…accountable. It’s a growing trend and I’m not sure how the players can respect the man anymore.
  13. It’s funny to me how many people get butt hurt by stating the obvious. Most people have finally accepted what McD is, but there are still a few that won’t admit it.
  14. It starts at the top. You can blame Dorsey all you want, but this is how McD wants to play. It’s why him and Daboll butted heads. I’m not even saying Dorsey is great, but don’t run him up the flag pole and forget that this is how McD wants to play football.
  15. I’ve said it on here before that it seems McD has lost this team. You can hear it in his voice at pressers. He doesn’t have any answers for losses or bad play. Deflects everything and gives canned responses. I honestly think this is because of 13 seconds. I think that the team rallied and played for each other last year, but the injuries, weird snow outs, and another early exit wiped their faith in McD. I can imagine a room full of grown men that have some bitterness in their hearts that this guy might have coached away their only shot at a SB. The younger players might not feel that way, however as they have many years to compete, but nothing is guaranteed. Finally…you can see it in Allen. His body language is telling. He’s not a happy player right now and I think it’s because McD finally got the laid back version now that Daboll is gone and he can will his way on Dorsey. Allen did play with a purpose against the Bucs, and that was great to see. However, conservative play down the stretch set that game up for another last play deciding moment. I just don’t know how many times this team can rally behind mcd, but I guess it will all play itself out.
  16. Maybe so…but before him we didn’t make the playoffs for 17 straight years so I’m not sure what your point is.
  17. I don’t know if it will be Henry or not, but I fully expect some movement before the deadline. I see this as the Beane and McD last gasp. If things go south, then the two of them might not be working together in the next couple months. Gotta make something happen. Can’t take those draft picks with you.
  18. I’m sorry…Dorsey has his flaws…but I think the real issue is McD himself. I think one of the reasons they went with Dorsey in the first place is because he’s a young guy that would be grateful for the opportunity and would do what the HC wanted. That’s why McD and Daboll bumped heads so much…Daboll did what he thought he needed to do. Dorsey doesn’t seem to do that and instead defaults to McD with whatever he wants. There are plenty of issues to go around, but I think all of this starts with mcd.
  19. Our backups should be able to keep one of the worst offenses in football under 25. Sorry…I’m not agreeing with you at all. The pats were in the red zone 5 times all season before yesterday and got there 5 times against us alone. Not good enough.
  20. Disagree. McD forced it into this and Dorsey has no authority to change it.
  21. That doesn’t hide the fact that 25 should be good enough against a terrible offense.
