  1. I’m convinced most of the “let’s draft defense” crowd are old folks. I have no way of knowing for sure, but offense is the name of today’s NFL. We finally have a QB and people still want defense instead of adding to our greatest strength. I don’t get it… And you can find that in the mid rounds or in FA.
  2. So you are another advocate of ignoring offense until the mid to late rounds? If so, I don’t know what to say. This is 2022…we need to keep adding to this offense and helping our best player. We aren’t stopping teams like the chiefs….you simply need to match them point for point.
  3. Exactly. You aren’t “stopping” KC. I feel Beane and McD are a little too obsessed with stopping them thinking that is the ticket to a SB. It sort of concerns me that Beane said he’s gonna add more to the defensive line this off-season and spoke specifically about corner as well. If Allen has time, he’s nearly unstoppable. However, when he does have time, he’s also throwing to slower targets who don’t get YAC. Our RB picked it up late, but is slow and was largely ineffective most of the season. We can upgrade there as well. Our defense is fine. Get a mid round or FA CB to compete with Dane and Levi, and possibly get a vet DE to replace Addison. The rest needs to be in improving the speed of our playmakers and protecting Allen. We waited over 20 years to have a qb that we can be excited about. It would be a shame if we didn’t maximize his abilities by investing early and often into helping him succeed.
  4. I think it’s IOL…the priority needs to be to protect our franchise qb. Bates was good when he finally played, but I think he should be a backup. We could use a road grading guard to open up the run game and protect Allen from nasty DTs. Corner is the popular pick for a lot of you because 13 seconds is fresh in everyone’s mind and we lost Tre for some time. IMO, Wallace and Jackson fared very well together and either one could be CB2. 13 seconds was more on our coaches crapping their pants than the personnel. We could use and upgrade at CB2, but we can just as easily get that upgrade in FA or the mid rounds.
  5. Cause I dont agree with your opinion? Haha. I guess that’s all we need to know about YOU.
  6. I’m not arguing with you dude. You have clearly chosen to follow my posts. I’m not taking the bait. I know what I think and I’m not gonna let you or anyone change my mind. Have fun…
  7. We are slow and terrible in YAC. But…we need more defense!!!! S. M. H. 🙄
  8. Ok…then there should be one later then. This is the argument every year against drafting a WR early. In the first round yes… But the argument was the second round.
  9. So we take a corner in the first because we need one? What about the other rounds? And forget about the fact that we need speed on offense and might lose Beasley, Sanders, and McKenzie. I’m not buying for one second that its cut and dry for corner because of Tre. We can get a good corner in FA and the mid rounds too.
  10. I don’t understand the corner crowd. Beane said in his presser yesterday that they thought about one in round two last year but decided they might not beat out Dane Jackson. There were some good ones still on the board at that point as well. It has long been the MO of this regime to have one outstanding corner (Tre White) and develop a later round corner opposite of him. They think they have that in Dane Jackson. Ive long said…you aren’t stopping the KC offense. Elite qbs are able to overcome any kind of defense put out there. Look at our own guy. His best games have come against good defenses. Elite qbs rise to the occasion. The main focus needs to be protecting our franchise qb and giving him the weapons he needs to keep this offense humming next year and beyond. People forget how average or worse Singletary as most of the year. He picked it up late, but I’m not gonna pretend that is going to be the norm going forward. And I love Diggs and Davis, but sanders is gone and Beasley might be as well. We need a young, speedy slot.
  11. Why would we keep drafting DEs? You have to be fair and see it both ways.
  12. I like Davis. I’m happy to have him. But be honest…did you think he was a stud before this past game? And it’s one that we’ve been making for the vast majority of the McBeane tenure.
  13. I knew someone was gonna bring that up. He didn’t have far to go after the catch to reach the end zone. Not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about a dump off or run that goes the distance. Nice try. That said…yes I did read your post and I mostly agree. We do need an upgrade at RB. Yes, Singletary finished strong, but his limitations are evident. Finally…I also agree with the OL. I’m ok with the tackles, but go get some dawgs to play guard. Allen can feast when he has time to throw.
  14. I think this offense is a bit misleading. While I really like Diggs, the other guys are JAGs. Allen is basically the entire offense. That isnt sustainable. To think otherwise is just being foolish and stubborn. We need to upgrade the OL, slot receiver, and RB IMO.
  15. You’re missing the point like the rest of these guys. The issue is YAC. When was the last time you saw a Bills player run away from the defense and take it to the house? We do need speedy weapon in the receiving game IMO. It would add a new threat to this offense.
  16. Ok Honestly…there is no reasoning with you if you feel this way. We are entitled to our opinions.
  17. Wow…I don’t know how anyone is going to reason with you. You did see the defense that was called right? The dbs and safeties played way back acting like we had a 4 point lead. That’s coaching, man.
  18. Are you serious? Read his post. We need to make sure Allen has enough weapons and protection that he can sustain this kind of excellence. If you think we need to run it back on offense and blow everything on defense I don’t know what to tell you. Heck, we tried running it back with the same line as last year and look what happened.
  19. Gonna lose sanders and most likely Beasley and McKenzie. If you think WR isn’t gonna be a need then I don’t know what to tell you. We need speed. That’s what this group lacks. The problem in the last 13 seconds wasn’t personnel…it was coaching.
  20. Or how about this? A round 1 WR!!!! It can happen…we really can draft more than defense in the first you know…
  21. You conveniently left out all the first and second round picks on defense. That’s my point. You literally just supported my argument by naming all those picks on offense. We spent one pick on an offensive player before the third round…unless you want to count the first (and multiple others) for Diggs. Meanwhile, we seem to load up on first and second round talent on defense.
  22. Yes…time to fill the defense in FA and finally use top picks on offense.
  23. We aren’t losing Daboll to keep McD. Just stop with that. Daboll is getting a HC job and has earned it. That said, I think McD expedited his hot seat with Sunday’s meltdown. If he wasn’t on it before, he is certainly at least on watch heading into next year. I agree with you that it concerns me that he is a mostly defensive minded coach and it does concern me on what is going to happen on the offensive side of the ball. That’s why I’m hoping we keep Dorsey around, especially after Allen all but made a mess over himself when dorsey’s name was brought up. I think this is a huge off-season for both McD and Beane. We need to get Allen everything he needs and spend some premium resources on weapons and protection. I’m not talking about aging veterans and third round picks. I’m talking a splash on offense and first and/or second round picks. We have spent heavily on defense and it’s time to develop them. IMO, If McBeane doesn’t address offense in a big way in favor of the defense, and we fail…they are gone. Sundays game was brutal and is a terrible look McD.
  24. Been saying this for a long time. You simply aren’t gonna hold the chiefs to a low score. You aren’t. Your best bet is to out score them. Our defense doesn’t have to be the top unit in the league. We all saw how that worked for us last night. It simply needs to be “good enough”. Our resources need to go to the offense first and foremost and strengthen our greatest strength…Josh Allen. BPA…on offense. Wow. Just wow. Allen has a high release point? Do you watch him throw? It’s more sidearm than high. Brown doesn’t have the feet to be an OT? He had the highest relative athleticism score ever since that became a thing. Im not sure what else to say here…
