  1. We need a poll for this thread!
  2. Thanks for finding and posting this. From the article: "The Recovery Tre’Davious White will need supreme conditioning of his thighs. Adrian Peterson famously came back in eight months to play after his ACL surgery. However, the average time it takes to return to play in the NFL is 10.8 months (4). With an estimated surgical date of December 16th, White should be back in October or November 2022. Barring an expedited recovery, White is a strong candidate to start next season on the PUP list." Video of the injury happening:
  3. Quick summary of the video if this hasn't been posted already: Worst weather cites: 1. Buffalo 2. Green Bay 3. Cleveland 4. Miami 5. Pittsburgh Based on 5 weather factors gathered from the National Weather Service 1991-2020: heat, precipitation, snow, cold, wind Only outdoors stadiums were considered (20 in all), not domes or those with retractable roofs. No, according to the conditions given in the video. No dome or retractable roofs allowed.
  4. I'm greedy: I want the #1 seed. We need the Pats to beat Tennessee. I am probably being optimistic, but I think we can sweep the Patriots, and they are not that good as people think they are.
  5. Weird. Carson Palmer was on the Dan Patrick (I think) radio show last week, and he was positive about the Bills after their loss to Jacksonville, saying there is nothing to worry about and that all teams have a bad game and there were some injuries. He said (at that time) the Bills were still the favorites in the AFC for the SB. I was going to post this last week, but didn't have time.
  6. This is Tasker's final year of regular eligibility before gong to the Coach/Senior Committee (players go to there in their 25th year of retirement). Let's do it!
  7. I look forward to your weekly write-ups Virgil! We are definitely not in the driver's seat for the #1 seed, but we are still in control for the division title...we just have to win to keep pace with New England, then beat them in two weeks (a big if, but I'll take that at this point and hope we come strong for the playoffs).
  8. In 1980, Buffalo had a 14-0 lead at the Colts. Then we lost. Let's hope the reverse happens here.
  9. Nice post! Thanks for doing the research. Also: The 2003 14-2 Patriots lost 31-0 to the 6-10 Bills (and 20-17 to 5-11 Washington). [FTR, the 2014 Patriots also lost 17-9 to 9-7 Buffalo in the season finale.]
  10. Actually, this loss was strictly on the poster who started that thread wondering how much Trubisky should play and that the Bills would win easily.
  11. That's a pretty big assumption. Jacksonville almost beat Arizona. They are still an NFL team.
  12. Speaking of Bills and Bills Mafia ads, does anyone have a clip of the ESPN/NFL promo that shows the Bills Mafia outside near a bus, two Raiders fans in a living room in face paint, that bald guy dressed in black, where there is a auditoriumful of clones of him? I looked last week, but couldn't find it.
  13. Fair statement. But, the Bills beat KC on the road; and were also a slip away from beating Tennessee...again, on the road. Let's wait for the season to play out. The Bills need to take it one game at a time. And, btw, there is no way Tennessee wins out 😉
  14. Assuming we win the division this year and Tennessee wins theirs, we will get to host them next season on our turf, so we will have a shot at redemption. Maybe sooner.
  15. Oh wow.. I did not know that.
  16. I think the poster was joking! 🙂
  17. Interesting point! But 5 of those 6 games were also on the road.
  18. Agreed. Just focus on winning one game at a time and win the SB. A nickname, if appropriate, will happen by itself.
  19. I'm glad they are watching, but Buffalo is more than Josh Allen. Besides. what happens if Josh is injured or no longer plays for the Bills? The Bills won't be on TV there, and stuff like Wyoming color uniforms will not work.
  20. Most of his posts seem anti-Bills.
  21. No one has mentioned Kent Hull (RIP) yet. He was undrafted by the NFL, wasn't he? And then after the USFL, he followed Marv Levy and was signed by the Bills on the same date as Jim Kelly, I assume as a free agent. --------- EDIT: Rick Gosselin in the link below says Hull followed Levy here: https://www.si.com/nfl/talkoffame/state-your-case/state-your-case-kent-hull "Levy spent a season coaching in the USFL so he was knowledgeable of the talent in that league. When Levy moved on to the Bills, he brought Hull along with him." But from my memory, and confirmed by to Pro Football Reference, Levy didn't come to Buffalo until midway through the 1986 season, when Hank Bullough was fired. And also from Pro Football Reference, Hull started here from day one of that season. So Hull couldn't have followed Levy.
  22. Yeah, the Bills win yesterday made me go back and re-watch this video. It says it all. Sorry to revive this old thread, but I love it!
  23. I searched, but this didn't come up: I was listening to The Herd with Colin Cowherd on the radio today. There was a guest host--I think Dan something? Sorry, I didn't get his name. This Dan made a few points: 1. The Chiefs being favored by only 3 points at home is bulletin board material for them, and Vegas thinks essentially both teams are equal. KC will be angry about this. 2. Josh is good but not great. He will not replicate the success he had last year. He had one great game, one good game, and two iffy ones so far. 3. But Josh doesn't need to be great, since the defense is rated number one and will carry this team. 4. It is possible the Bills will beat KC, but he said it is also possible he could grow wings and learn to fly. He said it won't happen. Ugh...but don't shoot the messenger!!
  24. I only see two teams with higher points scored than Buffalo: Tampa Bay and Arizona. Also, I wonder which team is (tied) for the NFL lead in point differential at +50 with Denver??
  25. Still very early, but I hope the (unnecessary) loss to Pittsburgh does not come back to bite us.
