I don't think Jaxson Dart was a surprise at all--actually is was expected by many mocks, including Schrager's. It was the worst kept secret that the Rams and Giants had a trade in place a week ago, and Dart was the target (although some had the Bills and Giants trading).

Why does he take so long to announce them? A first-round pick is at least five minutes. Too much going on involving him behind the scenes?

I think at least three QB's might go in the first. At least two mocks I have seen recently have the Giants trading up into late round one to draft Jaxon Dart, including ESPN.
