  1. I'm sure lots of folks here will just make fun here, but the OP has a point, to an extent. If this team doesn't shift course and go HARD ON OFFENSE this off-season, we do have a problem.
  2. What I love about this kid is his blocking as much as his pass catching! On a number of those blocks, he absolutely DESTROYS the guy he's blocking and they end up flat on the ground. He then stands over them and looks down just to rub it in. He plays with a lot of attitude and edge--that's clear--and I LOVE THAT. And how about that 1 hand grab? He reached out with one hand, caught the ball in one hand, pulled it in with one hand, and NEVER put his other hand on the ball---just kept running. I'm afraid we'll skip him and take a defensive tackle instead. 😭
  3. Wow, perfectly sums up the inept US military leadership after landing on the beach in Anzio, as part of the utterly failed Italian campaign in WWII. Reading a lot on this chapter of the War lately.
  4. It seems like there are a bunch of hard core compute gamers here. Does anyone know the best way (what hardware and software) to play aerial dogfighting simulation games? With a lot of historically accurate planes/views/controls, and where your view playing is out of the front windshield, like flying the real plane? Do you have to go to PC types games for this?
  5. The best way to make it stop is to start a thread calling attention to it.

  7. Here's a great one I was listening to just yesterday. James Horner is amazing. RIP.
  8. I'd move on from him when we can and the cap allows for it. He's undersized in this league, and doesn't have enough raw athleticism to make up for it. I would NOT have a player on my team, in that position, who is less than 325 lbs.
  9. I would DEFINITELY move on from Dorsey, and maybe Frazier too. Dorsey is orders of magnitude below the best/smartest coordinators in the league. Frazier is too conservative and literally does the same thing all game every game.
  10. Interesting quote from the article: "However, over their last three playoff losses, Frazier’s defense has given up 107 points (35.7 points/game) and 1,403 total yards (467.7 yards/game)."
  11. That's 10 games ago (not counting post-season) which about where I had our bad streak starting too. We were WINNING mind you, but we were not on form. We made mistakes, Josh turned the ball over in many of those games, and we just didn't like we were playing at our best. I kept waiting for the switch to be thrown for playoff mode, and it literally never came. I wonder if it would have been better to lose to Miami in the first playoff game. It would have yielded more change than what we are going to get, and this is going to set up a regression year next year, big time. Intro to the article....this really hurts, but also hits home! "The best word I can use to describe how I felt (and still feel) is numb. I sat in the first row of the upper deck in utter disbelief as I watched the Bengals celebrate on OUR FIELD, with THEIR FANS taking over OUR STADIUM with their “WHO DEY” chant. I was so numb and emotionless that the security guard had to come poke me on the shoulder and tell me to leave." That's a dark day in Bills history right there folks!
  12. The clone concept wouldn't really work, would it? You need all different types of guys at different positions with different sizes and skills. All Tom Bradys would lose badly. It's kind of a dumb idea to be honest! No offense. I'd go with a clone of some top, big, fast, running back.
  13. The Bills not being right go way, way back before Damar's situation in Cincinnati! For half the season some of us warned that our style of play was going to catch us out when it came to running into a really good team in the playoffs, when we need our best performance to win. Amazingly, MIAMI ALMOST got us in the very first game. And then the Bengals beat us down. Bowing out of the playoffs well before our goal of a SB seemed inevitable this year. The bad part is I think we'll have a slight regression next year, not quite doing as well as we did this year.
  14. Bengal Beatdown ???
  15. Good God has that woman had a lot of plastic surgery! Changing topics for you watch enthusiasts out there: Here's a cool shot of Buzz in his younger years sporting his Omega Speedy moon watch....
  16. It's not that simple, but I agree we need to upgrade the line. You're assuming Josh would turn extra time into completions. Maybe, maybe not.
  17. Considering they beat us once without him, I don't think that's such a stretch.
  18. Funny. Retaining Dorsey likely WILL waste another year of Josh Allen's career, and then they'll realize something needs to be done and he'll go then. Then the new guy will need to get cozy and that's another year gone too. Now it's 2026 and still no SB appearance.
  19. Ed's way to small for that! He's too small for the position he plays now!
  20. Firing the safeties coach seems highly suspect to me. Seriously? After that beat down? That's the move? Hyde misses most of the season, and Poyer fights injuries all year long and you go after the safeties coach?
  21. I agree! And further more, who cares if your QB is #1, or #3? As long as he is in that top tier elite group, that's good enough. Any of those guys can win against anyone, and they can all win multiple Super Bowls. That's good enough! What is there to argue about?
  22. It's WAY TOO EARLY to have an intelligent conversation about this. We don't even know who the QB of the Jets and Dolphins will be at this time. We also are going to go through a lot of transition this year ourselves, and we don't know what that looks like yet. My GUT says it will be even tougher next year, and I actually do think it is possible that we do not win the division...if, for example, Rodgers goes to the Jets and Brady plays in Miami....both of which are being discussed/anticipated by some. I am already predicting a Bills regression next season, though that doesn't have to mean we don't win the division. I think we'll still be very good, but lose a few more games and bow out of the playoffs earlier, or at the same spot....which is a regression when you consider we are supposed to be on an upward trajectory. You can argue the last 2 seasons in a row, now, have been regressions.
  23. This is a fallacy. Watch Von, when he's actually on the field. He loves to line up way wide off the offense's right tackle. 98% of the time he locks up in a 1-on-1 battle with that tackle, and they play their own little game of "get the QB/don't let you get the QB". He is never double teamed and what he does way out left has nothing to do with the remainder of the line play. 99% of the time Von does not win his battle, and then quits on the play, figuring if he doesn't beat his man right away, he will not have time to get to the QB anyway. I acknowledge our pass rushing stats were a lot better with Von around, and they did drop off when he went out. That implies it's Von connected, but I honestly think there's more to it than that. Correlation does not imply causation.
  24. I'm not a fan of Joe B. He doesn't know more than you or I know. By the way, don't read anything into that "year 2" reference at the press conference. These guys are ALL, ALWAYS going to talk as though everyone in the organization is in it, and will be in it going forward....until they get canned the next day. I do think we will NOT change any coordinators, and that is a mistake. It will be magnified next year.
  25. Ed Oliver will not come close to retrieving an All-Pro Guard on trade! It's not a particularly good FA market this year, which doesn't help. I do FULLY anticipate them drafting a center early in the draft...
