I'm not asking why might these 2 disagree. I'm asking what was the incident in the game today. I didn't see it on TV, though I did record and will watch again.

I think Josh certainly played a big role in the whole mess...but I wouldn't lay the whole thing at his feet by any stretch of the imagination. He left a TD on the field on his first possession with a lousy pass to Diggs, to name 1 thing.

They (WGR-550 post game show) are talking about Diggs yapping at Josh on the sideline at some point late in the game, and Josh was just standing there ignoring him and not responding. Anyone see this who was at the game or have more to comment on?

Isn't NOT coming out of the tunnel flat before the biggest game of the year supposed to be one of those things that falls to the Head Coach of the team?

I think he's talking about the aftermath of the 13 seconds game. McD preaches taking ownership of your own mistakes and it all has to start with yourself, etc...but he totally dodged every bullet he could after the 13 second game. He didn't own up to the utter failure of the whole thing at all at the post game PC, and then they fired the special teams coordinator, using him as the scapegoat. I'd be willing to bet the guy is nothing like what he publicly appears to be, but I don't know. I don't know him at all.

I hope this game turns a light on, and the franchise realizes certain things are not working correctly against the big dogs when the games matter most. The roster should be a good bit different next year. Will the coordinators be the same?

Will be interesting to see if the powers that be consider this BEAT DOWN fitting of a coordinator change--maybe both. My guess is nothing will happen. What a bad taste in my mouth. Long off-season on the way.
