Getting that team to the playoffs a few years ago (when we POUNDED them into dust) was nothing short of a miraculous coaching performance. I hope he is on the hot seat and in fact gets fired SOON. We can then immediately hire him and start planning for multiple SB wins in the next 5 years.

I've been saying this for a long time, but I think Rodgers in NJ is totally uncharted territory. People are looking at his recent past and projecting about his future, but the circumstances are so different now. You can't compare the last few bad years in GB to now. No one knows what he will look like with the Jets until we see him play 5 or 6 games. He could be outstanding or terrible, or something in between. I think it's the most interesting story in the entire league, heading into the season.

What goes around comes around! How is this any different than traditional "influencing", i.e., advertising and marketing? You know, you pay good looking models/actors to create a desirable scene of fiction, film it for 20 seconds, and run it on TV over and over and over again. Of course this will impact the wind to a degree...they have basically chosen to wall in an open end of the stadium and cover it with a giant score board. This is the North end prior as it was...look how open it is. I never liked this stadium, architecturally.

Guys like Beane say, all the time, that he will make the team better if the chance arrises. So sure, he could be traded, but I don't see it happening.

He also knew what he was going to do with the ball, pre-snap, most of the time, and then got rid of the ball as fast as anyone in the game. Also never really did anything with the ball unless he was throwing it. Hard to get hit or hurt under these circumstances.

The big thing with Miami is always going to be Tua's health. I just don't think he can get through a full season and post season without a concussion. Not now. So Miami is only going to be so much of a threat, at least until they get a new QB.
