  1. Like I said, I think he's a solid coach and I'd prefer him to go outside of the AFC East. But he is a bit nutty... The 5 Craziest things Harbaugh has done/said as Michigan head coach: 5. Saying he models his life after Sponge Bob Square Pants. 4. “Who’s Got it Better Than Us?” video 3. Giving the Pope a Michigan helmet 2. Donuts in the Big House 1. Sleepovers at recruits houses. https://www.maizenbrew.com/2018/7/16/17568860/top-5-wackiest-things-jim-harbaugh-has-done-as-michigans-head-coach
  2. And if he chooses to have quite an off-game, or at least half, it helps a lot too. Also look at the INT in OT....pure luck. Sometimes the ball bounces your way, sometimes it doesn't. I'm totally over our loss now!
  3. I feel bad for Ickey Woods! The dude looks like he weighs 450 lbs.
  4. Only traditional football meathead types who think analytics are for idiots would disagree with this! We could have and should have been the #1 seed THIS YEAR and it probably would have made a difference. Would love to see us do it next year.
  5. It seem fair to HAVE to assume the Bengals defensive coaching played a huge role with that. There were plays where Mahomes could NOT find anyone to throw the ball to, and the Bengals DL performance was a lot better than the Bills too. After watching the game, I am glad Bengals won, find it easier to take the Chiefs loss, dislike our coaching staff more than I already did, and would like to see us completely change up both of our lines this off-season. Praying we need a new DC but I don't think we will be that lucky, nor will he be fired.
  6. True--people here for some reason are pissing on Harbaugh, I think maybe b/c he's kind of a weird guy. (He seems nutty to me). He did a HELL of a job in San Fran. That's wasn't that long ago; I would rather him go somewhere outside of the AFC East.
  7. Just finished watching the game a little behind real time. Good for the Bengals! They marched in there and did what we couldn't do, even after losing the toss in OT. Better DL play, better coaching/adjustments in 2nd half, and a semi-off game for Mahomes all contibuted to the win IMO. Of course the turnovers but that's part of Mahomes' down game. It turned into a really good game and I enjoyed it; all I was asking for. I just hope the next one is as good, and the SB is too. Also, for me, the Bills loss in KC is now easier to take. It wasn't meant to be our year.
  8. The vicious, negative, attacking, angry, hate-fueled, snarky, dog-eat-dog posts are the absolute life blood of this forum! It's populated mostly by people with a lot of anger problems. Look at the number of people commenting in this thread many times! You know, b/c attacking an anonymous stranger via the internet in your free time on a Sunday morning is just good, clean, fun! 👎
  9. Of course he's going to say that he loves Daniel Jones. In reality, he might be thinking "need to move on from him quickly." Sports fans love to take what sports personalities say publicly as the truth for some reason.
  10. That kind of money on a card made a few years ago is ridiculous. I can see spending that kind of money on some nearly non-existent historical gem from 1905 or something... But a Josh Allen rookie? For that money? This is apparently still the most expensive card of all time, at $5.2 million. $5.2 million for this too?!
  11. As is almost always the case with neutral games, I am hoping for great football games that are close and in which the outcome is not decided until the end. I fear both of these games today could quickly erupt into blowouts, and I have no interest in watching that! Assuming good, close games, I think I want to see Bengals and 49ers win!
  12. It's not that someone wouldn't want to work with Josh, it's that some potential candidates might still be holding out for HC positions. Doug Pederson comes to mind; I would put him near the top of my list but I'm not sure he is ready to take an OC job right now. He's still probably waiting to get back into the league on the HC level.
  13. If you are evaluating OCs around the league based on final scores of their teams' games, you're doing it wrong. Evaluate them on their offensive coordinating, which could be brilliant in a 3 TD loss.
  14. If Dorsey goes, I would NOT want us to promote positional coaches to be a first time ever OC...with no play calling experience no less! No way! We are one of the best teams in the league and have an elite offense. You don't hand this car over to whoever is standing around in the garage...you go out and get one of the best driver's in the world to manage it. Bring in talent and experience from the outside please, and make the new guy's job finding a way to seamlessly connect his new offense to what Daboll did in the past, so the learning curve for Josh is lessened. The heavy lifting should be on the new OC, not Josh.
  15. This whole "football...so let's donate money!" trend is stupid, but it goes to a good cause, so OK.
  16. I'm just not sure there is some sort of burning desire to play for his home town team before he retires. I get the impression he doesn't feel that way at all. I hope I'm wrong! Sign him up.
  17. It's the same old theme Since nineteen-sixteen In your head, in your head, they're still fighting With their tanks, and their bombs And their bombs, and their guns In your head, in your head, they are dying In your head, in your head Zombie, zombie, zombie-ie-ie What's in your head, in your head Zombie, zombie, zombie-ie-ie Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh, ay, oh, ya ya
  18. The offensive line should be Top No. 1 priority, and it should look totally different next year. That has to be Job # 1. Wouldn't mind a new weapon for Josh to play with as well. Then CB.
  19. Watched Episode 1 of the new season of "Ozark" last night. Enjoyed it and look forward to the new season, but I didn't realize how much I had forgotten about all the little details going on in the show. Took us the full hour to remember everything that was happening.
  20. Without a doubt it was the highlight of the season. I didn't think, I KNEW we had won the game...and that felt good!
  21. But I thought he needed to rest his body?! 😬
  22. I think everyone in the entire football world that thinks a RB is important in the modern game can be found posting in this thread! 😂 Hell, pick one up on waivers and call it good. I don't want to see us burn ANYTHING in the way of assets on one!
  23. I would not want to de-emphasize skill positions, and Josh isn't Brady. They have different skill sets despite both being great QBs. I think Josh needs good WRs more than Brady did. I would continue to pump assets at improving the offense, especially at skill positions.
