  1. He's jerking your chain, Einstein. It never fails...triggering the community here with one of Fergy's threads is like stealing candy from a baby. It's so disappointing. 😢
  2. Dolphins owner Stephen Ross may well find himself on the outside here, being forced to sell the team. Depends on how it plays out. Lots of people are going to get dragged through the mud, and rightly so!
  3. Does that make you feel better?
  4. He was a great player with the Oilers. Don't know how good of a coach he is. You would think he knows what he's talking about when he works with players now.
  5. Just catching up to this story now. This is really interesting and is going to be HUGE. We'll all be hearing about this for a long time.
  6. There was some talk of Flores maybe going to the Giants to be with Daboll, according to Sal C. on the radio earlier. That was coming from media covering the Giants.
  7. What makes you say that? Is it possible you are exercising bias b/c the Bills are "your team" and you can't accept, perhaps even sub-consciously, that all is not well with the team behind closed doors? How do we know YOU don't have the wrong take? Lots of folks here have the "wrong take" here every week in the score prediction thread, when they predict the Bills to win--all games---by 30 points.
  8. Let's just pray to God we don't start running the football now that Daboll is gone. He may have been stuck in a power battle with McDermott all year long trying to pass as much as we did. It makes sense in that in some games, it seemed like we were sticking in weird run plays where they didn't fit or otherwise match the game plan. Like someone was telling him to do it.
  9. More than half way through the season now, with a record of 14-30. "Next year!" cried the Sabres fan. "It's always next year, never this year!" 😢 Anyone remember what it felt like to wake up on the morning of a Sabres playoff game day? I do not.
  10. 1) Really good, natural muesli. The rest is garbage for children with bad parents.
  11. I have never heard of, or seen, any Korean dramas! With the recent exception of Squid Game which I enjoyed.
  12. How about the Bengals appearing in a Super Bowl 2 years after picking their QB in the draft?! Why compare us to the Rams over a 5 years period! Look at what the Bengals have done in 2.
  13. Ah yes, the dangers in drawing conclusions based on a couple games of data...
  14. I have him #1, though I think Peyton Manning has as solid argument to make about that.
  15. Agreed. It's all a part of the greater NFL/Officiating/Media anti-Buffalo and pro-New England conspiracy. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting that thing!
  16. A franchise valuation article I saw not long ago had Denver at $3.8 billion. It wasn't long ago that Pegula bought in at what? $1.4 billion? And that was deemed overpayment by a couple hundred million at the time. Not all franchises are valued equally, but this is where these guys make their real money--long term franchise appreciation.
  17. It's really not that complicated of a situation, though it seems to confuse many. Calling them "native Americans" inherently describes and defines them through an "American" prism, which has absolutely nothing to do with them. Their cultures (all of them) pre-date anything to do with "America" by a lot. The Canadian "first nation" idea is a much better way to go. Or "aboriginal people" or something like that, as they use in Australia.
  18. The laughing of the color guy, particularly at the moment Brady is decked, is just fantastic. It makes the whole play! Is that Dan Dierdorf? Sounds like him. I don't think I ever noticed the "cartoon guy" head on the thing! That is absolutely priceless.
  19. My initial reaction was "this is good." I like the continuity and this should have the least impact on Josh, which is good. Having said that, Dorsey has zero experience as an OC or play calling at the NFL level (or maybe any level?) and that scares the crap out of me. I wanted a guy with play calling experience.
  20. They have a way of protecting their FOREVER. Once you are in the club, you're in the club. Guys bounce around forever from team to team, even long after it's been demonstrated they aren't particularly effective at coaching.
  21. I wrote my post above, mentioning Pederson, before reading yours. We are totally on the same page here. I think he would be an awesome hire, and he is the caliber of coach we should be signing. Why in the world would we risk things with a first time play caller?
  22. I have to say, the prospect of Peyton Manning working 1 on 1 with Josh Allen give me a woody. Assuming he would really want to pursue a coaching career. It's too early for him to be an OC though.
  23. Doug Pederson---assuming he isn't steadfastly holding out for another HC position, which he well might be doing. Why? He has a TON of experience and you can't have too many ex-head coaches on the staff. Experience is a good thing. He was risky and aggressive as hell when Philly took down the Patriots in the SB, and clearly understood the only way you beat Brady/BB and the Patriots in the big show is if you PLAY TO WIN. He has a lot of real, NFL, in-game play calling experience. I don't want ANYONE who has never called plays before. I also think a guy like Pederson could and would push McDermott to be much better than he is currently. Chan Gailey always had a natural knack for clever, creative offensive play design! I wouldn't mind that at all to be honest, and he's been around the block many times.
  24. I'm thinking of John Fina's podcast and how he has decided no one on the line except Oliver knows what they are going to do as a pass rush move before the snap, and how that's easy pickings for an OL in this league. I don't think the rotational idea is silly; seems to make sense, but only if you have the bodies to rotate into the game! We are desperately short on talent on the DL.
  25. Right, Tom Brady will want to come out of retirement to play on the Bills half way through the season. Come on folks. By the way, he still hasn't officially retired. He might come back another year. He strikes me as the kind of guy who can't retire and might un-retire several times before he truly stops playing.
