I live in Palm Beach and go over these types of bridges including the one in the story all the time, if not every day on my way to the beach. They go up at the top and bottom of the hour, so I try to time my trips around that. Now and again you get stuck at an opening anyway, which is a pain in the ass b/c it's a huge traffic jam generator. There are traffic lights on the bridge. They turn red for a while, then arms go down, then nothing happens for quite a while, then the bridge starts to go up, moving very slowly. I have no idea how someone could fall off the bridge like that, unless they are just a total space cadet, totally not paying attention, under the effect of prescription medication or alchohol, or something like that. You'd have to work hard to fall off the bridge in this manner.

I wouldn't be sad with Aaron Rodgers with my 3rd pick, although he's not getting any younger. Your objectivity is very welcome, at least by me. Only Bills fans would have Josh Allen as No 1 overall in the entire league. He's top 10 for sure, but No. 1? Mahomes is the best QB based, if nothing else, on merit plus talent/ability on the field. Josh isn't far behind, when he's on his game.

I haven't looked at what the OP wrote, but I don't know how in the world you can project out 3 seasons in today's NFL. Maybe 1 or 2, tops, with a few exceptions.

It was? Sounds like wishful thinking and a good bit of rationalization on your part...which is all too common around here. I guess it makes you feel better. You realize they had 30 first downs, 370 yards of passing, 182 yards rushing, 552 yards of total offense and put 42 points on the board, right? 😂

Keith is long gone and so is Entwistle...whose base playing is like 60% of the reason to listen to The Who. Honestly, I can't believe they are touring. Reminds me of some of the last Van Halen tours, cut short by Ed's drinking... Better leave them where they belong--in your memory.

I would go OL, then DB, then edge rusher, in that order. I would also rather acquire a proven pass rusher rather than draft one that we hope turns into a good player; this administration is terrible at evaluating DL talent.

There's more here than meets the eye. It's an obvious tank maneuver, or at a minimum they went with a place holder until they can find a more favorable candidate next hiring cycle. One or the other would be my guess. No way he was hired on raw merit.
