Josh Allen could go out there in a French Maid’s outfit and still cook.

Aren’t NFL defenses typically ahead of offenses in week 1 ? I would definitely defer, but I get your point. Scoring on opening drive immediately puts pressure on the other team. At the same time, stopping said team from scoring puts pressure on them as well. I guess it’s more of a personal choice than any right answer. -
Anybody got a week 1 upset pick?

It really shows the inferiority complex some Western New Yorkers have. We have one of the best teams in the NFL too. -

At first I hated this week 1 matchup, but now not so much. Usually we have to wait weeks for this caliber of game as the Bills usually destroy teams right off the bat. It’s nice having a quality opponent to really gauge where this team is. -
ESPN predicts Bills win Super Bowl…and I agree

They likely promoted from within and implemented the same exact system as their previous OC. Not sure there will be that big of a drop off, but you could also be right. Bills winning the SB by a mile -
Week 1 is a good opportunity to catch them off guard and steal a win.

Flacco had the run of all playoff runs throwing 0 interceptions and 11 TDs. It’s possible and I am a huge Mayfield fan, I wanted the Bills to draft him, but I feel like he was carried by a very talented team last year w/ possibly the most under appreciated WR of this generation. -

I get that Baker Mayfield is having a bit of a career resurgence, but no way in hell are they making it to the dance. Detroit vs Buffalo. This is the matchup I want to see -
The exception proves the rule. For every Benford, there is 10 guys that never got a shot because the guy picked earlier ate up all the reps.
-
Wow, that was clean ! I love when coaches find new little trick plays like this and they’re successful. I don’t see why an NFL team can’t pull this off? Rolling the ball on the ground is risky, but that’s what ultimately sells the play.

Draft position has everything to do with it. If you use a 1st rounder on a guy, you are gonna want to see a return on your investment. It’s a proven fact that more patience & time is almost always given to players picked in earlier rounds. The Bills wanted better production from the TE position probably bc they saw what Travis Kelce did to their defense ever year. Even if Kincaid is marginally better than Knox it still wasn’t enough to warrant picking him so early. You want a dominant TE in round 1 which Kincaid isn’t (yet.) But yeah in the respective stages of their careers, Knox is the more well-rounded every down TE IMO. If given equal amount of snaps I don’t see there being much of a difference in production.
-
Because as a 1st round pick, Kincaid has been given every opportunity to succeed. He was supposed to be better than Knox and that’s what I was hoping for. Kincaid has regressed in his 2nd year. I hope the Bills stop playing him over Knox just because of his draft position.
-
Knox caught that ball that was supposed to be a throwaway by Josh Allen against New England which was a much harder catch
-
IDC about stats. I don’t play fantasy football anymore. Dawson Knox doesn’t drop that pass Kincaid did in the KC game. I don’t want to hear how it was a bad pass. Considering the pressure, it was a beautiful throw that hit Kincaid right in the mitts. Knox has made some big time catches over his career and seems to not be bothered by the spotlight. He is also a far superior blocker and the more complete TE in the respected stages of their careers.

I don’t care if he’s the reincarnation of Warren Sapp. I don’t want this freaky guy within 100 feet of Buffalo or any school zone for that matter. I would not be the least bit surprised if he ends up getting in really bad trouble down the road. Yeah no definitely not the same reason… 😒 -
Kincaid most certainly will be in the NFL for the foreseeable future. The question is will he take his game to the next level like some of his counterparts? Even if he plateaus where he’s at right now, he’s still average production wise around the league.
-
At the CURRENT stage of their careers Knox is the better receiver, but that can change if Kincaid puts up better production and MAKES the tough catches. I fully believe that George Kittle or Brock Bowers would’ve came down w/ that one in KC. Speaking of Bowers, he is going to be the next HOF TE. I hope Kincaid can hit that level. Over 112 catches for 1100 yards receiving. Guy is a MONSTER and built identical to Kincaid.

Thanks for the write up. I always forget Knox was a 3rd rounder. He competes like a undrafted FA trying to hold onto the final roster spot. I really hope Joe Brady can get both Tight Ends on the field at the same time. Seems like a great idea on paper…
