Vrabel wasn’t able to do much with a top 5 RB of all time, AJ Brown, and a very good defense. Tannehill was also playing the best football of his career. I’m not sold on him like the rest of the media/fans. He’s 2-3 in the playoffs. 56-48 all time (which is not impressive to me w/ the talent he had and that weak ass division.) The Patriots don’t have near the talent that his Titans squads had and they definitely didn’t have to compete w/ a team like the Bills. The Fins will give them a lot of trouble as well. Realistically, he’s going need 2 full seasons to turn that mess around. New England does have some nice pieces and a very solid prospect in Maye. Vrabel isn’t a BAD coach, but I don’t think he’s innovative enough to mask the deficiencies on that roster at this time.

Lamar would be an absolute beast and flag football GOAT, but Josh’s running style relies more often than not on power which would be pretty useless if all you had to do was S N A T C H (the dumbest censor in the history of message boards) a flag out of his ass. I agree with almost everything you’re saying, but as a Knicks fan I disagree w/ your opinion of Brunson. He is a legitimate superstar. He elevates everyone on that squad. One of the most clutch players in the NBA and just dominated Tatum & the Celtics. There are very few guards I would take over him. Like Josh Allen, I think he’s going to bring his team multiple championships when it’s all said and done. Both are in the early part of their primes and it’s exciting knowing that we are set for the next decade. Love the quiet determination, humbleness, and leadership that each play with.

Even Gen X and Boomer fans had the 90s squad at least and/or the AFL championships for the latter. Millennial fans (where I fall) had it the worst out of everyone. Too young to remember the SB years and had to endure the drought until their late 20s - early 30s. The only highlight until the messiah Josh Allen was drafted were the Flutie years. The Bills pretty much sucked my entire existence. Just a couple 9-7 seasons were the highlight of my prime years as a fan.

I’ll take a 50 inch TV, clean bathroom, some 🔥 ganja, and a home-cooked meal over the hassle of going to an actual game ANY day. Don’t get me wrong, I try to go to one a year and definitely will be getting tickets when the stadium opens. It’s also a MUST if you are a diehard from a different part of the country or international. It’s like Mecca. I am no longer a drinker either and being around drunk fans when you’re sober can be a massive trigger for me. Plus, bringing family or girl to that environment can be an issue too. The parking, the bathroom lines, the overpriced refreshments, etc. It’s just too much. TBH, I like watching Bills games alone. My interest is on a different level than even a lot of serious fans. It’s my one day a week where I can completely escape reality and I like to soak up as much of it as I can. No interruptions or dumb comments. If I want interaction, I’ll post here on the game day thread.

It depends a lot on the injury situation as well as other factors. Great to have one when you have key starters that are nicked up especially going into the post-season. The Bills bye week last year was perfect timing for that reason alone. Also, a bye week can be just as important for coaches as it is players especially coming off several brutal losses Gives them time to regroup and make some changes schematically. I am a firm believer that the NFL should implement 2 bye’s especially as the schedule increases. A soon to be 18 game regular season plus adding in the 1-4 more in the postseason and ONE bye is asking a ton. Especially in a brutal sport like pro football. If they care so much about players healthy then that will go a long way in helping w/ that issue.

Can’t stand the “Today Show” and others like it. All the fake laughter and generic questions makes me want to vomit. That’s why the Pat McAfee show was such a breath of fresh air, but even he ended selling out to ESPN and became a little more stale. Still much better than the normal sports talk shows.

If a college QB has a sure chance of going number 1 overall, they are going to take it. Anything can happen such as a bad injury or a down season. I know rookie contracts aren’t like they used to be, but 40 million is very hard to turn down. Doesn’t matter what family he comes from.

That Baltimore game took everything the Bills had. I think this was McD/Babich’s signature win in 2024. The fact they were able to hold off Henry/Lamar from running all over us was definitely a miracle. At the time I thought Buffalo was gonna win it all if they were able to beat the Ravens who IMO were the best team in the NFL.

As usual Beane won’t get the credit for being smart enough to let Gabe Davis walk instead of paying him the 39 million he would’ve wanted to lure him away from the Jags. Davis should also send Josh Allen 39 million ‘thank you’ notes.

Trading TJ Watt would be on par with the Doncic trade as far as stupidity. The most valuable non-QB player. He’s 30, but I can easily see him playing at a high level for another 6 years or more. The only reason the Steelers have been relevant and that Mike Tomlin continues his streak of non-losing. Count on that to break if the Steelers FO does that.
