  1. This man is in desperate need of a nick name. Come on, TBD. This is your bread & butter.
  2. I’ll like them a lot more when Kelce is gone. Felt the same about the Eagles. I hate being forced fed those 2 goons. There are much more likable brother duos. Travis just seems like a jock wigger douche and Jason looks like he smells like baked ham and has crumbs in his beard.
  3. I voted for Kelce. I can’t stand him. There is another reason that I’m not putting because it’s a controversial issue. If you played semi-serious FF, then you probably knew who Kelce was. Those KC rosters during the Alex Smith years were better than the one they have now. The 2017 one especially. Tyreek Hill, Kareem Hunt, Kelce, Eric Fisher, Tamba Hali/Justin Houston , Eric Berry, Darrelle Revis, 2x 1st team all pro CB Marcus Peters. Those are just the better ones, but they had a whole slew of talent. Mahomes walked into the best situation possible.
  4. I was worried facing the Chiefs coming off of a loss. They look very beatable. Commanders made a ton of errors/dropped balls, no points off either of their interceptions. I think the Bills can do better. It’s clear Kelce is still their best receiver and he’s older than Jack Nicholson. Their WRs don’t strike any fear. We now have Hairston to help bridge the speed gap. RBs are lukewarm at best. I think this is the biggest talent gap between the 2 teams. Josh Allen really has the major advantage handing off to Cook. Big difference between 2 & 9 and 2nd & 4. Cook is averaging 6 ypc. If the Bills can play sound, efficient offense without turning the ball over while forcing a turnover or 2 and keeping the Chiefs mostly out of the end zone, Buffalo will win pretty convincingly. That’s just my 2 cents.
  5. Was a phenomenal game for him and shows exactly why he has a roster spot year in & out. Just an integral part of this team that a lot of casual fans think is dispensable, but is the core glue for this offense. A homegrown player that I think deserves more love.
  6. I wanna add that Reggie Gilliam was the lead blocker and sprang Cook loose on both of his long TDs. I rewatched the game and he was responsible for a lot of good blocking, but these 2 plays stood out the most. Gilliam is the secret weapon to the running game.
  7. Sample size is really to small to claim Brady doesn’t know what to do with a number 1 receiver. The bottom line is he’s never had one. Like everything else in the world the poor passing offense is because of a multitude of things. Josh playing poorly, Brady not drawing up more creative plays, WRs being garbage. It’s all of these things together
  8. I am wondering if it’s better to face the Chiefs coming off a W than it will be with their division hopes on the line and 4-4 facing a losing record. To play devils advocate, it would be the ultimate chance for the Bills to make the Chiefs 4-5 losers and knock them further out of the division race. 5 losses is a slippery slope and no margin for error in the AFC. I choose this option every time
  9. Diggs best years were behind him once Brady took over. And he still put up close to 1200 yards. Who on this roster is capable of looking like a number 1 ?
  10. The Patriots glazing on this forum is just insane. People act like the Bills got slaughtered. Forget about the questionable flags, I won’t even go there. Is this like some minor form of Stockholm Syndrome? I just have a lot more belief in Josh Allen than others. He’s been doubted his entire life and it continues in the NFL. Brady doesn’t choose the players. He has no #1 to utilize! You can’t make filet mignon with a dead raccoon scraped off the side of the road.
  11. I’m one of those ppl that needs to see multiple years of great production before I’m sold. The Patriots schedule is a joke. The only remaining elite team they face is Tampa.
  12. Hate to say it, but Allen is NOT THE BEST at leading his receiver. How many times do receivers get immediately tackled upon completing the pass? I remember Diggs getting hit constantly. He’s definitely improved these past 2 years, I just don’t think he has that natural accuracy like a Brees or Maye. Which is fine because he has so many other awesome qualities. 👍 Edit: you know who had a freakin’ phenomenal deep ball?? JP Losman
  13. I remember during his Jets days. EVERY player wanted to play for Rex. Guys were saying it while being on another team. Those Hard Knocks episodes were the best of the series. He connects with players on the level of Gruden, Dick Vermiel, and Dungy. I never understood the hate for him. Being an introvert, I get jealous of people who are so easily able to form deep relationships. A lot of these players didn’t have a father figure growing up and Rex Ryan definitely filled that role for a lot of them. I don’t want to derail this into another person, but I’ve always felt McDermott had that same quality just in a different way. A good coach instills more than just football lessons, but life ones as well.
  14. I agree on Dalton, but Carolina has one of the best running backs in the league. I think he still averaged over 5 yards a carry against Buffalo, but they were able to take them out of the run very quickly.
  15. I’ve been a fan of Rex since he took Brady down with Mark Freakin Sanchez. HATED HATED HATED the hire though for Buffalo. I still quote his “Let’s go get a snack!” line fairly often.
  16. The AFCN has fallen a long way down from yesteryear. If Pittsburgh loses this game, that division is wide open.
  17. Beautiful moment with Rex Ryan on his former player.
  18. I’m sorry, but I can’t stand the way Ray Davis plays. Reminds me of the way Marshawn Lynch ran his first couple of years here. Just runs full speed into a pile of lineman. I always thought Fred was the more fluid runner Truthfully, I can’t stand North-South running backs. Give me a slasher with underrated speed like Cook or Shady McCoy anyway. Love to watch a natural runner do their thing. My only gripe is lack of targets in the passing game. I’m not sure who exactly is at fault, but it’s strange not having your biggest weapon catch passes. He’s a poor man’s singletary.
  19. I mean I would want MY wife to think I am more than just my chosen career. What is exactly wrong with that? It doesn’t mean he’s gone soft or is going to retire early. Allen doesn’t take the beating a guy like Andrew Luck or David Carr took. Even when he does get hit, he’s good at minimizing the impact. The NFL has made tremendous strides in protecting the QB. I think Allen is too much of a competitor to leave the game early. I can honestly picture him playing until 40. Who knows what medical technology will be available by then ?
  20. Agreed. It’s a WR problem, not a QB one. Allen is in year 9 and has had no problem connecting with WRs in the past. He made Diggs the most productive WR during his 4 year stint here. Diggs, Smoke Brown, Cole Beasley all long time Vets before coming to Buffalo had each of their career years w/ Allen under center. So yeah, it’s not him.
  21. Cook and the offensive line. Jimbo already has 75% of his rushing yards (753) from 2024 in just 7 weeks. I think he will have over 1500/15 TDs by the end of the year. It’s an honor to eat crow. I thought the Bills could survive without him. Thank God I’m not GM
  22. I feel sick for Joe Flacco. He balled out like it was the 2012 playoffs. That defense is historically bad.
  23. I think Josh is a rhythm thrower the way some running backs need consistent carries to get into a flow. I think he managed the game well and made some good throws as well as some terrible ones too. 3 TDs is 3 TDs whether 2 of them were from a yard out or not. Just because Josh makes it look easy doesn’t mean it was.
  24. Allen had some top notch coaching his first few years. They molded him into an offensive machine. Maye was a lot more polished coming out of college whereas Allen had to be broken down and reconstructed. Not to take away from McDaniels who is obviously a well respected coordinator who’s been around a long time, but Daboll is no slouch either.
