Christian Wilkins released for kissing team mate
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes and 2nd only to Chris Jones of KC for highest paid DT. I believe he cost himself close to 40 million. I just don’t know why players like Wilkins or AB pull these weirdo stunts, ruin their legacy and cost themselves multi-millions. They think they’re bigger than the game when no other player ever has been, the NFL will go on functioning with or without them. -

The NFL. Where you can commit attempted murder and sexual assault on the field without any repercussions. -

there’s a lot more to the story -
Something tells me this guy is going to end up in prison at some point in his retirement. https://sports.yahoo.com/article/raiders-star-christian-wilkins-cut-173047776.html “A source told ESPN that the defensive tackle had intended the incident, which took place inside a team meeting room, to be “playful” but that the recipient of the kiss had taken offense. “We have decided that it is in the best interests of the organization to move on from Christian Wilkins and he has been informed of his release from the team,” the Raiders said in a statement shared to social media on Thursday.” “With no clear path or plan for future return to play from Christian, this transaction is necessary for the entire organization to move forward and prepare for the new season,” said the Raiders in a press release,” the Raiders statement added.“ “A non-injury grievance has since been filed on Wilkins’ behalf by the NFLPlayers Association. The Raiders declined to comment further on the matter. Prior to his stint at the Raiders, Wilkins spent the previous five seasons with the Miami Dolphins, with whom he bagged nine sacks in 2023 – a career best.” (10 sacks if you count Josh Allens)

I’m hoping Keon Coleman can build on a promising practice yesterday and shut all the haters up. Jerry Rice probably heard a lot of that “slow” and “can’t get separation” crap coming into the league as well. Hopefully Coleman uses it as motivation and improves route running to offset whatever physical limitations he may or may not have.- 170 replies

Yeah it’s a joke. I remember when MIKE MULARKEY got a 2nd HCing opportunity with the Titans. If it isn’t familial, it’s certainly a good ‘ol’ boy network.

I love living in the parallel universe where the Bills have the best QB in the NFL.

Elijah Moore helps AJ Brown off the ledge

An offseason acquisition I tend to overlook myself, Moore could really make some noise in a receiver room desperate for someone to separate themselves (no pun intended.) -
ESPN acquiring the NFL Network and the NFL Redzone
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
The NFL network used to be gold. I loved “a football life“ among other greatly produced documentaries. The top 10s were fun & informative as well. I’ve always been more of a historical documentary type of person anyway so I’ve since moved to YouTube especially for the more deep cuts. This is the age of content so there is plenty of other stuff to watch if you don’t like this move. I’m sure the NFL sees it the same way knowing a tv station no longer has the impact it used to.. -
Hamlin is SOLID DEPTH, but we need him to remain that way ! I’m hoping Bishop has a killer offseason. He is no longer a rookie so hopefully McD will show enough balls to start him. A backfield of Bishop/Rapp is a physical one I would love to see with Hamlin spelling Bishop occasionally on deep pass plays.

They gave us a run for our money last year. Maye was gutting the Bills with short, quick passes. Precisely why we drafted Hairston. -

Your guess is as good as mine. He looked very good pre-injury. We haven’t had a chance to see him post. IDK what makes you so sure. -

I think every Bills fan is silently concerned about Maye/Diggs this year. I know they’re going to give us at least one good game. -
Nathaniel Hackett is coaching D!

I would recruit a top ranked Madden player over Hackett at this point in his career. Edit: Actually, at ANY point in his career. -

I will be paying attention mostly to Bishop, Bosa, and Sanders. If all 3 can play to their potential then I think this year will be the one. We know offense is gonna eat. D has a ridiculous amount of depth on the line. I’m hoping Bosa can remain a healthy bookend to Rousseau and put up double digit sacks. We’ve had issues in the backfield since Poyer/Hyde’s departure so I’m really hoping Bishop can be a key piece to pair w/ Rapp. Basically, we need a monster on every level.
