  1. Dorian Strong all day. Get him crucial experience in these early games that can benefit us greatly down the stretch. Coast on the offense while the defense works out its kinks. Plus, you never know who’s going to pan out or not. Hairston could bust and Strong could be the next Benford for all anybody knows.
  2. “we’re in a moment of history right now. Embrace it.” If you haven’t seen this, great clip about Ravens game, but a good reminder to fans. I try to soak up the excitement of Allen because he isn’t immortal.
  3. It is wayyyy too early to say that. We need a bigger sample size. Remember blowing out New England 31-0 in the opener ? We had the best offense AND defense going into week 2. How did that turn out ?
  4. I feel like Buffalo was one of the last NFL teams with the prototypical old school middle LB Brandon Spikes. compare Spikes 6’3 255 to Terrell Bernard now 6’1 220 that’s all you need to know about the total change in philosophy
  5. Consequences of having a defense full of smaller, faster guys. I think that’s what it comes down to. This is why depth is crucial in a McDermott defense.
  6. It’s a trap game for fans/betters is what I mean. Of course the players and McDermott are taking a week 2 divisional game serious. I never questioned that.
  7. Seems like Allen maximizes his physical traits to the highest extent possible. The same with Lamar. These 2 are the result of a supremely physical QB that also has the mind of a great pocket passer. That’s the future of the position.
  8. Not even being funny, but I love me some Spero & Solomon Wilcots. If I could have the rest of the regular season at 1pm with those guys I would do it in a heart beat. Prime time sucks. Feels like every Fing Bills game is either Romo or Collinsworth. I can’t stand either one of them. I really miss John Madden. Even Jon Gruden was a fun color commentator. Romo was a breath of fresh air his first couple of seasons, but soon just became a caricature of himself.
  9. So disappointing. Would’ve been the perfect week if Cincinnati lost. I’m not willing to throw in the towel as it was a week 1 and division game, but things aren’t looking good. You’d like to see more than 17 points from an offense with that many resources tied into it. Then again allowing 16 is a massive step up for their defense.
  10. I found my brother 🤣 I guess he’s not a liar
  11. You realize not all White Collar jobs are CEOs and Lawyers, right? This also includes doctors, nurses, and software engineers who developed the very thing you’re using to make this ignorant post.
  12. If Henry doesn’t realize that at 31 then he never will. That’s the benefit of having a savvy vet like Oliver. Only experience allows you to make a split second decision like that to realize all of those details. And it won a very important game. Even if Ed has to sit out a few weeks it worth it as I think the Bills will coast on the offense these next few games. The injuries will start really mattering towards playoff time.
  13. I had this theory the other day. This same exact one when comparing Buffalo & Baltimore teams and I think it does hold some weight. I’m trying to think of big games that Lamar had to gut it out to win ? Definitely no playoff games
  14. They made that FG drive look effortless. Just pinpoint throws in stride allover the field with a clear path out of bounds. The Ravens should’ve went for it. I’ll die on that hill. The Browns ? No.
  15. If that’s what the analytics say then they need to invent an entirely new formula for Josh Allen because he continues to defy the odds. I understand your point, but you won’t even consider mine. You have a 2 time MVP QB and a HOF RB. All you need is 3 yards to pick up the first down and ice the game. Your offense has been successful albeit an uncharacteristical (idk if that’s even a Fing word) fumble by Henry and a couple stalled drives. Your other option is to kick to a red hot Bills offense who just put up nearly 250 yards of offense on you in ONE quarter and you’re on the ROAD. Come on, man. 🤦‍♂️
  16. if we see another ***** performance by them I think Buffalo needs to start looking at trade options. By all accounts, the Bills are all in this year. They had no problem grabbing Cooper when their offense was sputtering. I really think Beane could make a move for a Safety
  17. I grew up in Rochester, but spent the other half of my life in NYC and the tristate. The Jets were absolutely my most hated rival only because I had to deal with their fans on the daily. Since they sucked it’s been kind of hard to hate them. Sometimes I’ll even catch myself rooting for them just because I know what it’s like being a fan of such a dysfunctional franchise. Currently, I look at the other top AFC teams as the biggest competition. Chiefs are number 1 by a landslide followed by Ravens and Bengals.
  18. When the Steelers 3rd string pummeled the Bledsoe & the Bills in the last week of the 2005 (?) season I started to believe in trap games. I can think of several instances where Buffalo came off a big win only to lose to an inferior opponent the following week. And I don’t mean the Bills are going to lose. What I mean is people shouldn’t be surprised if the Jets can make it a game. Divisional games are usually tough, but whatever. I’ll take the negative reaction. Funny bc I got a ton on the game day thread for being TOO positive about the chances of a comeback. Now I’m too negative. Going into week 2 I feel like we are left with more questions than answers. The defensive effort was very concerning. McDermott better count his lucky stars that he has possibly the greatest offensive weapon in the history of pro football because i guarantee you this place would be as anti-McD as it’s been since “13 seconds.” edit: Allowing 40 points at home in week 1 is inexcusable. Even to Baltimore. The defense looked lost out there up until the last 10 minutes of the game. McDermott/Babich did not have them prepared at all.
  19. This has all the signs of a trap game. Bills just came off a very tough and emotional win.
  20. They will need Hairston. I have a bad feeling the Chiefs are going to make a play for Tyreek.
  21. Mac Jones isn’t as athletic as a 50 year old Trubisky 😆
  22. Then we are in total disagreement. If my offense dropped 40 on you and basically moved up & down the field all game long (minus a couple drives) I am betting on them to get 3 measly yards. The alternative is to give to Josh Allen & the Bills with all momentum going their way ? I go for it every single time without a second thought.
  23. Nothing wrong with that, but analytics are certainly useful. Not nearly as useful in football as they are in baseball. Still a good tool for coaches.
  24. The ball literally bounced in Buffalo’s way on every occasion. The planets aligned perfectly at the end for that comeback. Makes sense as they had a 99.3% shot of losing up until that point. I also wanted to point out how close the GW FG was to being blocked. They escaped this one very lucky with a W.
